Weekly Horoscope for the week of Aug 27 By: Sandra Helton, PhDSandra’s Celestial Compass for the week of August 27 – September 2, 2007 Getting Down to Business… This is one of the most significant weeks of the year! The lunar eclipse and Saturn brings a new course for the lives of everyone.
For almost 2 years, Saturn has transited in the sign of Leo and formed a grand cross in the heavens, which has been trying for many to say the least. Issues and circumstances both personally and globally have plagued everyone and most have had their lives touched in some way by this major cosmic cross. The U.S. has been at war as it did under a similar influence when the war occurred in Viet Nam. Now, with Saturn moving past this harsh angle the war will most likely downscale and end.
Saturn leaves Leo on Sunday and enters Virgo where it will remain until late 2009. Two years ago I discussed with you the many changes to come when Saturn entered Leo which certainly played out in the news. During the last two years there was an escalation of a focus on celebrities and notable persons in an extraordinary way and at times has seemed very unreal to the point of annoyance for many. Photographers have had their heyday and the lower desire of human nature to aggrandize others out of a need for heroes and someone to lead has grown to a point of frenzy. There has always been a fascination with the famous, but the levels to which it has gone in the past two years is a little different because the frenzy was often focused on anyone for any reason rather than for deeds or quality. That sort of vanity will begin to settle down now and the world will turn to those who are dedicated to making changes and who have chosen a lives of service.
With Saturn in Virgo you will see a different manifestation that will be more productive and beneficial. Those who promote causes for the good of all will come more into the limelight. The concept of service and taking care of responsibilities is a theme that will resonate worldwide. The work force and labor will be discussed for worth. Institutions such as hospitals, schools, unions, and all places and groups where people are taking care of others will be a major focus. There will be changes for those who are in that arena of life. Basically, a restructuring will take place over these next two years and leaders will see the needs of the people more clearly.
Health and awareness of the effect of stress will be more paramount as people begin to respond from their body’s messages. There will be greater workloads and responsibilities. A need for diligence is the theme of this planetary placement.
Wherever you are and whatever you do, you will feel the call to get busy and take care of the business at hand. Organizing your life will be a major activity and will serve you well so embrace that compelling urge. There will be more in the news about the effect of nutrition, which is way overdue. This will help many people to see that the source of life is the food we eat and that there are great preventative measures such as eating well. Those who already promote such awareness such as our own Brit Elders will be pulled into taking on more of that responsibility to teach and explain, to guide and to help, those who are in need.
So, what does this mean if you are a Virgo? Right now you Virgo’s are experiencing the Suns return to your sign so are more sensitized to the heavenly movements. Saturn will be in Virgo for more than 18 months so it is a notable position. It is pertinent to your own astrological chart depending on where it falls so everyone will experience it differently.
Without a doubt, this Tuesday’s lunar eclipse in Pisces will give you every opportunity to see clearly if you use a little intuition and meditative insight. Take some time to contemplate how you can embrace the present in a productive way. The eclipse is showing you ways to wind up old business and matters that have lingered seemingly too long.

No, I meant to write "Saturn in Virgo." My mind is a million miles away today. I'm so preoccupied; I need to recharge. I'm going to edit that so people don't get confused. quote: I am also excited My progressed Saturn is at 0 degrees Virgo also !
What do you think will happen? Which house is our pSaturn in? quote: My Neptune, Venus, and Mercury in Sag will be squared.
I know; My moon, venus, mars, jupiter, and neptune will be squared. I actually think that's better than having the planet in your sign (if the planet is Pluto or Saturn, that is). How have you felt with the Pluto in Sag hitting all your sag planets for the past 15 years? I think that's worse. I hope I'm right. IP: Logged |

Well, you can't have 15 straight bad years. Like anything, you just go through it, and learn what you have to learn. IP: Logged |

Already? I thought it was later this autumn, oh well. It will hit my Ascendant, Venus and Mars soon. At the moment I'm not too terrified of it, life with Saturn in 12th squaring my natal Saturn has been hell, though sure I'm not blaming the transits entirely, but perhaps I'll get some structure to my life.IP: Logged |

You are welcome, everyone. Thought it was good news, myself, as I have Mars, Uranus, and Pluto all tightly conjoined in Virgo. Although I'm not sure how it will affect me. ??? IP: Logged |

I know, but I'd rather not have had such a long transit. Why is it the bad transits last long and the good one's only last a few months, tops? (I've noticed that on astro.com's transit reports.)Who knows, maybe I'll be happy I had such a bad transit for so long. Which houses was Pluto transiting for you? Mine was the seventh and eighth, where all of those planets are located, so it passed over all of them. I think that's why it was so intense for me. ------------------ Sun Aqua, Moon Sagg, Asc Taurus IP: Logged |

Saturn entering Virgo does not mean anything bad for anyone. It means you will be forced to pay serious attention to the house it occupies in your transit chart. Virgo is about service, health and attention to detail(small details everyone overlooks). Look at the bright folks! Its a chance to grow in these areas. IP: Logged |

Saturn moving into Virgo will trine my natal Moon and Saturn(r), sextile Mercury and Venus, conjunct Mars and square Neptune.I'm about to venture into college tomorrow kicking off a two year program for now, I'm in with kids nearly young enough to be mine. Virgo is always good for me when it's time to put my nose to the grindstone. woo.!. Can someone tell me what an apostrophe near an aspect means? say trine' ? IP: Logged |

Can anyone guide me how it will affect me as Saturn is in my second house/Pisces. Is it going to affect my financial position or my career. As from last few months, I am almost struggling to gain respect in my job and career and right now, feeling too frustrated.IP: Logged |
