Is marriage still recommended for a couple who has no planets in each others 7th and 5th charts, maybe asteroids, but no planets?Thank you. IP: Logged |

Yes.Look to supportive houses. The 7th and 5th don't always mean a couple has good marriage potential. The 7th is ANY kind of commitment, also open enemies, business partners and other people in general. The 5th is creativity, sex (for fun..no commitments), affairs, children, gambling and hobbies...
Look to the 1st house...this house shows that there's a significant importance in each other's lives. Like someone changing the way you look at everything or feeling that without them there, you will literally be hal f a person.
Look to the 8th...that's the step above the commitment associated with marriage. It's a profound unspoken connection, a deep spiritually transforming attachment. The 2nd..is support in general, as well as worthiness. A relationship CANNOT LIVE without good communication so 3rd house contacts are good as well... 4th house, 6th house (daily matters).. Many people who have lasted in 30+ year marriages/unions have combinations of other houses in synastry and no 5th house/7th house connections. ------------------

Alanabelle , would u rather look at synastry aspects with the houses or composite?this is very interesting. with the man i d like to be with, i have alot of planets in 8th (my moon and mars in his 8th), 4th- 2nd but also his moon and his plut0 is in my 7th and his saturn and mars in my first...is that bad? composite shows neptune in 7th.. thank you

I look at everything. Different charts host different meanings. And I would never deem one more important than the other.
Synastry can not only show how your planets interact with one another, but it shows what areas of your life are "sparked" or "ignited" by the other person.
Composite chart shows the energies that exist within a relationship. It shows what kind of relationship exists between two people, things, events.

Having no planets in either also means alot less drama hee.hee..
Remember the houses themselves are ruled by signs. What signs are located there? Do these seem compatable to one another? What planets rule those signs? Where are those planets within your charts? etc. Keep exploring!
There are so many things that show compatability!
You may also wish to explore "Magi Astrology"...
It has some pretty accurate results in marraige compatability as well as pretty different veiws than traditional astrology. ------------------

I agree with Cat71.. tmiller instead of looking for answers for marriage in astro look for it withing yourself... only you have the power to decide ... despite what astrology might say about two people.. it might even say that they will never end up living happy together.. there is no predetermined destiny that two people cannot change. anybody has the ability to change their stars.. out of all the practices of tarot, astrology, numerology, even proffessional psychologists telling you it cant work .. etc etc.. there is one thing that will always overrule any of these if we find it within ourselves..
