So, this person analysed my chart and said im pretty much doomed in all my relationships because i have mars opp. venus...said that might have some short stuff when planets transit but i ll never be happy w someone... i ll always suffer separations and distance

also said that (since the person i like has the moon in my 7th house) the Lunar seventh house placement in a partners chart is never welcome since it tells of an affectionate response that varies like the Moon.

Now i m feeling crushed...do you agree with these interpretations?

Hey no expert here but I don't think it's responsible to tell someone stuff like - that's like a pyschic or tarot reader telling you you're gonna die next week - for god's sake what's wrong with these people???

And that bit about your moon - what the h*ll does that mean anyway?!

Get a second opinion babe

that's no astrologer
real astrologers don't talk like that.
dismiss it.

You're Moon falling in a partner's 7th is a positive placement.

Your Venus/Mars opposition does not prevent falling in love or being in a good partnership.

That opposition has a certain energy that responds to a similar aspects in others. Hey different strokes

thank you Cat and Lalalinda,,, phew... that persons words really worried me.- i have mercury in pisces -

i guess he-or she? means that the moon in 7th is moody and varies as fast as the moon s transits...so no lasting feelings...

thank you for lifting my heart :X

You're welcome - did the reading come with a money back guarantee (bet it didn't!)

Besides Linda always said - no matter what the placements etc love can overcome all odds

I am no astrologer but that sounds fishy to me LOL
Are you sure that person used those words? usually if there is something negative they will say something like "you may have trouble with this situation but it is your choice to overcome this problem"
Nobody is ever doomed! I hope anyway LOL

yeah, get a second opinion.

no he didnt say doomed but i felt doomed from the way i pictured in my mind the response i got ... [no money back just someone from a message board!]

here s how he expressed it :
Mars opposite Venus in a natal chart
indicates difficulties in matters of
love throughout ones entire life,
under favorable transits and directions
love affairs occur, but when the
transit is past and the direction
over the same old story of separation
and distance between the native and
the object of his or her, since this
aspect works with both sexes,
affections returns

The Moon conjunct Mars opposite
Venus enhances the opposition
exponentially so it's a pretty
gruesome state of affairs love
wise that's for sure.

Mercury is in the seventh house (mine)
a placement that is said to
bring marriage, so eventually
something might show up.

hi ^_^ Alia, Venus/Mars opposition can mean conflicts within yourself between your Venus (loving nature) and your Mars (anger, passion, action). but as long as you find a way to balance both of the energies, the conflict can be solved. ^_^ Now let's look at it psychologically: if you have an inner conflict, then it might sometimes makes relationships difficult as well. But you can find a way to solve by solving this personal conflict of energies. ^_^

And about the the other person's Moon being at your 7th house.. I also have this aspect, and personally I love it. ^_^ Having a Pisces DC, I can be quite a Pisces when it comes to relationships, and it is compatible with my bf's Pisces Moon. I just love his gentle, caring and sensible Moon (astrologically speaking or not ^_^ ), as these traits are what I'd like in the other person in a relationship (DC is how you are and what you seek in relationships).

I have Venus loosely conjunct Mars opposite my Moon -- *DOUBLE-GRUESOME!!!*

I wouldn't fret about it one bit if I were you Alia ~ remember:

From Steven Forrest: http://www.stevenforrest.com/lovehandles.html

To me, in the realities of the astrological counselling room, there are
two immutable premises:

There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that
is so inherently sweet that enough selfishness, confusion about sex, or
immaturity cannot turn it sour.

There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that
is so inherently bitter that enough patience, devotion, and humility can
not only make it last, but make it something precious to both people.

Do not pay this person any attention. I don't even consider mars opp venus a terrible aspect.

It really annoys me when I read aspect descriptions where an astrologer explains what's wrong with me and my life - but offers no suggestion on avoiding or dealing with certain problems.

I think astrologers should offer a solution to problems that a person might face ( and many of the good ones do! ). But if they're gonna point out a problem and send you packing, what exactly does that achieve?

What an A$$!!! I cannot stand oh my i cannot emphasize enough how much i cannot stand people who do that. Dont listen to that one bit!!!! Its a hard aspect but hard aspects within your own chart are there for your personal growth. He has noooo knowledge, or the right, to say you will never be happy with anyone. Especially mars/venus opposition...its not even a square damn it. But thats not the point. There are hard aspects that do make certain things hard for us. But its meant for us to adapt and overcome them. Some harder than others (i personally thing outer planets challenges are way harder because they are usually subconcious - maybe cuz i have many outer planet hardships). But seriously, please dont get upset. You wont believe how many numerous times id get soooo upset over readings and get depressed. Even now i still do...u know pessimism and all.

But seriously this is so wrong of him.

I disagree with his interpretations...violently...lol dont fret

Zala - I LOVE that quote. I know I always say that when you put it up, but i honestly do!

quote:

Thank you Lala! Way agree!

Actually I dont think moon in 7th house doesnt have lasting feelings. I think their emotions would be more focused on partnerships and it would be kind of an instinctual comfort zone for them. Being in a couple would somehow feel more right than being alone, kinda take back to the old comfort zone. I dont know maybe i read too mcuh of that Hades moon book lol. Freudians lol.

Yea i agree wat is said isnt that fatalistic. Its just something that needs to be worked on and overcome. Remember everything is in your own hands... When i first joined this forum my bf and I were going through a ton of fights and almost inevitable break up. And someone looked at our chart and said "i cant believe u guys are still together u have terrible aspects u wont last more than a month"...and i got so upset...well u know wat its been 10 months since that day and we are still together...still figting, still arguing...but still together...so take it all with a grain of salt

funny update: dude from the astro board added : your taurus man is most likely to have an harem ,so you ll be just one of the ones around him... since his sun ,venus, palla, vesta, jupiter are all in his 3rd house and yr venus is caught up in there.

today when i checked again the moderator had removed his post...

lol...
i guess he went too far this time !?

anyways this taurus man is very selective and picky ,he always had long relations and spends most of his time workin in his studio at home so no much of an harem scenario... but i wonder if a stellium in 3rd in taurus inclines to multiple relationships goin on at the same time?
