I am child of a Libra, I must create balance - coincidentally, one of the two fish symbolising pisces is cupid…child of venus! And the other fish is venus.No this isn’t a “YAY Pisces is so great” string. I don’t really know what this is, I just hope the result will be something deep and meaningful. I hope this string brings peaceful vibes to the astrology forum, replacing the deranged ones lol In that other string about pisces the word weak came up, and it’s not the first time. Whether regarding discipline, character or body-wise. It comes up when pisces is mentioned. I believe you need to understand a person before you call them weak. And that’s what I‘m here for, but do bear with me…I will try my best to explain what I have learnt so far about being the fish. Pisces seems to describe the “fallen angel”, and it sees the material world as limited. Deep down the fish knows there is something better, higher out there. That this world is stale compared to the heaven it previously occupied. I’ve posted before that I believe Pisces is the closest sign to God…I’m convinced I drank tea with him daily in my last life as a spirit I also have no doubt the Jesus was a Piscean. So yeah…divine beings thrown to earth, to find heaven on earth “Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven.” In Many Lives, Many Masters – amazing book btw! – it describes the states we can take. The physical state ( the one we’re in now )– where you feel pain, and can cause pain The spirit state – no pain, only happiness quote: About spirits: BW : does he make you feel safer? C: Yes.He’ll be back when I need him BW: Good. Are there spirits around us? C: Oh yes…many spirits. They only come when they want to
Sounds very Piscean. I believe pisces was previously in the spirit state, where there was only peace and wellbeing. Or, they resided for a long time in one of the “higher” seven planes (7=Neptune). There was a book about Buddhism that mentioned these planes, saying how the higher ones were paradise like…and people can chose to stay however long they want, and have a choice on whether to return. So for those returning from the “higher planes” the physical state is a big shock. There is pain, there is loss, there is death. I suppose ultimately the lesson is to realise all these are illusions. quote: The secret to life is to die and realise there is no death -Eckhart Tolle
So in a way, pisces is not used to this material world while the other signs are. And it is difficult I can tell you. The fish desperately search for the divine. Which is why many turn to narcotics. quote: Some people touch the astral plane by using drugs -Many Lives, Many Masters
They are looking for God, for the divine, for salvation. But they shouldn’t be judged for it. quote: Anything that you believe will bring you final peace and fulfilment is your version of God. As you grow from one phase to the next, however, you get closer to the real goal; your image of God becomes truer, nearer to his nature as pure spirit. Yet every step is divine- Deepak Chopra
The pisces path is difficult, true. Many fall…many rise. Some, like me *I hope*, go through cycles…but eventually end up where they should be. Does that mean Pisceans have limitations in this life? Yes, to a certain extent…they feel they have limitations since the material world has so many limits. Does that make sense? However, there ARE no limits, there is no death. Spiritual books teach this, and it’s pisces job to learn it. but we get caught up in life, like everyone else. We starts believe these illusions are real, that pain and joy are real, that death is real. So we cling to the physical which is an illusion – unless you read spiritual books, you’ll prob think I’m mad! But it’s been covered – It’s the destiny of the fish to see past the illusions *Neptune* and find enlightenment. And escape the cycle of karma ( also the zodiac wheel ) and go beyond. What happens if a Piscean doesn’t rise? What happens when it falls? It has been written, pisces re-enters the zodiac and starts re-learning lessons like everyone else; quote: There are seven planes…seven through which we must pass before we are returned. One of them is the plane of transition (“the lower level”). There you wait. In that plane it is determined what you will take back with you into the next life. We will all have a dominant trait. This might be greed, or it might be lust, but whatever is determined, you will fulfil your debts to those people. Then you must overcome this in that lifetime. You must learn to overcome greed. If you do not, when you return you will have to carry that trait, as well as another one, into your next life. The burdens will become greater. With each life you go through and you did not fulfil these debts, the next one will be harder.[/b] -Many Lives, Many Master
Pisces is at the end of the road…it has a choice to ascend or descend. Does this mean that fish are advanced and God like? No! Their level of spirituality depends on their own history, and how many cycles they’ve been through. Like I said, there are prob many arians ahead of me. The “bad” fish are sure to repeat the cycle, assuming they don’t do a 180. One day we will ALL reach this point…and find inner peace. Though whether we must be born pisces I’m not sure. Perhaps it’s easier if you’re a Piscean. So I think when people point to pisces and call it weak, they are forgetting their own limitations. Piscean may not have the greatest self discipline hence weak willed, but it is not weak in general. You have to be pretty tough to come this far

~~~~******And To Finish This Off******~~~~On march 21, the vernal equinox, when pisces dies and aries is born… When the Sun is 0degrees Aries.. Guess which constellation “holds the position in the heavens” where the Sun is? If that’s not a sign of a fish getting its wings I don’t know what is!
PS this is a string of love. If you want to post something negative, you know where the other string is.. Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you PPS I think when pisces are creative, it’s their way of bringing heaven to earth.
What you said on the other thread wasn't criticism - it was akin to bigotry. IP: Logged |
Perhaps a note about an old and admirable custom (not to derail your thread, O Mermaidish One, I shall post some lovely zennish pics anon ).....Shunning Shunning can be broken down into behaviours and practices that seek to accomplish either or both of two primary goals. 1. To modify the behaviour of a "member". This approach seeks to influence, encourage, or coerce normative behaviours from members. It may, conversely, seek to dissuade, provide disincentives for, or to compel avoidance of certain behaviours. In this context shunning may include disassociation from the member by other members of the community who are in good standing. It may also include more antagonistic psychological behaviours (described below). This approach may be seen as either corrective or punitive (or both) by the group membership or leadership, and may also be intended as a deterrent. 2. To remove or limit the influence of a member (or former member) over other members in a community. This approach may seek to isolate, to discredit, or otherwise dis-empower such a member, often in the context of actions or positions advocated by that member. For groups with clearly defined membership criteria, especially criteria based on key behaviours or ideological precepts, this approach may be seen as limiting damage to the community or its leadership. This is often paired with some form of excommunication. Some less often practiced variants may seek to remove a specific member from general external influence, so as to provide an ideological or psychological buffer against external views or behaviour. The extent can vary from severing ties to opponents of the group up to and including severing all non-group-affiliated intercourse. Shunning is usually approved of (if sometimes with regret) by the group engaging in the shunning, and usually highly disapproved-of by the target of the shunning. This certainly results in a polarization of views. Those subject to the practice respond differently, usually depending both on the circumstances of the event, and the nature of the practices being applied. However, more extreme forms of shunning have caused substantial damage to individuals' psychological and relational health. In many civil societies, variants of shunning are practiced either de-facto or de-jure, to coerce or avert behaviours or associations deemed unhealthy. IP: Logged |
