Okay, my ego has surpassed itself this time!On Wikipedia, (I know!) it mentions that Dumbledore was born in 1881. On another website I visited, some one said that they thought Dumbledore possessed the qualities of a Taurus/Gemini cusp!!! (No - it wasn't me in disguise, honest!!!) So I played around a little bit and it just so happens that if I put my Birth date AND time into astro.com with the year 1881 (birthplace London!), Dumbledore is my astro twin!!! Not only that, but he has a chart that I think would fit him fairly well. What do you all think?!?!?! Here it is!!! IP: Logged |

quote: Birthdate: 1881 (JKR), probably in July or August. This date supercedes Jo's statement in 2001 that Dumbledore was "about 150 years old" (Blue Nose Day) and fits better with the dates that appear in Book 7. Regarding his month of birth, Rita says that Dumbledore was “nearing” his 18th birthday when he left Hogwarts in June, but was still 17 when he met Grindelwald (DH18). Basically, at some point during Grindelwald’s stay at Godric’s Hollow Dumbledore turned 18, so the month of his birth appears to be July or August.
Nuhh i say he's a Cancer.IP: Logged |

**************SPOILER****************Considering the revelations about his youth in Deathly Hallows.. I think that perhaps he may have some Plutonian aspects giving him a certain need for power and trouble handling it once it is his..as well that certain secrecy he displays IP: Logged |

That's true about the 9th house actually - the chart I gave him with my birth details actually gave him a huge stellium in the 10th house, (which of course would explain his fame and rise in his career). Maybe adjusting that chart a bit? Or any ideas for another July or August one?! There HAS to be some Aquarius in there though!!! The plutonian thing makes sense.... Just like Fawkes, his phoenix in a way.... IP: Logged |

I've only seen the movies (never read the books)But that fits, look at his ruling planet Mercury, strong in it's own sign Gemini and in the 10th conjunct the MC. Uranus (there's your Aquarius) is conjunct the Ascendant. (Moon in Aquarius too ) look what you did, great work! IP: Logged |

You dislike harry potter? Oh no! How can it be?? HP's fantastic!! Bloody supercallefragilisticexprealedaric! Whatever that means. Oh well, I too think Dumbledore's influenced with aqua. But I think there's some cappy and uh... I don't know - virgo or taurus or something. Maybe the power thing has something to do with a leo placement? IP: Logged |

If Dumbledore was born in summer I'd put him down as a Leo rather than a Cancerian, largely because of his early interest in power, and because of his later good-humoured arrogance. But an Aquarian ascendant is good - especially since his patronus is a phoenix and Aquarius rules large birds - but is a phoenix also fire? Hello and Welcome bvanzy to answer your question about the Phoenix. Fire and water but it's Scorpio. dies and then is reborn again. I really should read the Harry Potter books. I don't know why I haven't (I'd be able to break this down better ) Taurus/Gemini Cusp. You really did a good job in so many ways. Using the last rectification chart it puts Mars in the 8th house (showing how he dies) and the whole plutonian (8th) coloring. Sun is fated at 29 degrees (with a tight conjunction with the MC) Ascendant Ruler and MC ruler conjunct the MC in the 10th. Fame The fact that Mercury is so prominate shows youth and (Mercury shows primary education grades 1-12) there loads more RainbowDay, look at the last chart, it has a Virgo Ascendant IP: Logged |
