Great article Node!!I for one am SO ready for both Venus(my Sun ruler) & Pluto(my Moon ruler) to go direct.I've had an emotional week(haven't we all??) and am ready for the "light at the end of the tunnel."I wonder if I'm being affected more because Venus & Pluto are my Sun & Moon rulers? All I know is I've seen my whole life get shook up during this Rx...and I've been pondering things like,"Where am I headed in life?" & "What is my future?"------------------ S:Taurus ASC:Gemini M:Scorpio ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Be Kinder Than Necessary,For Everyone You Meet Is Fighting Some Kind of Battle..." Really interesting article! Is it likely that couples who split up during the Venus Retro will get back together when it goes direct? Or more likely that they will more positively (but sepatrately) move forward with their lives? IP: Logged |

This is a great article. I too have found out who true friends were, who truly loved me and who really didn't like me. So to me this a great experience to have had. To finally see people's true colors. I have been in a fog anyway with Neptune transiting over my Moon, so for some enlightment that makes me feel a whole lot better. I have an Leo Asc at 17 degrees and an Aqua Moon at 19 degrees, so I've totally felt this and am happy that it will be over soon. IP: Logged |

Nice article, although it confuses me even more if I have made the right decisions in my life, even know "I think" I have. IP: Logged |

Moondreamer81, I can relate! I never thought about the Pluto retrograde in relation to my moon but you could be very right there. I'm also suddenly contemplating where my life is heading and so on - Saturn just moved into my 10th house so I'm now very aware of issues about my career, financial security, and so on. Is Saturn by any chance transiting your IC?IP: Logged |

Thanks for that article...explains alot of whats going on with me right now, I just hope the outcome is good. My ex claimed to want me back, but all he really ended up doing was blaming me for something months ago that wasn't even my fault(he's trying to get even with me somehow), I just want to be left alone so I can have alittle happiness.------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer I "FEEL" therefor I am IP: Logged |

Long read, but worth it. This retorgrade effected me more than any other, so far. My relationship has been tested and strained. There has been conflict from the past & financial, appropriate for Venus. I'm glad for it, because in the end there is no one else I'd rather have at my side.I did find out who my freinds are and not. One in particular, I was not surprised to see is not a friend. It was surprising to see how much she is not. Finally, I had the hair cut from hell today ): I forgot about the retro, and went in on impulse. My stylist did not at all get what I wanted. I want to cry, because it is really that bad ): IP: Logged |

Two of my friends got married during this? What does that forecast...i mean i couldnt tell them to stop the wedding cuz of a Venus rx...they would look at me like im nuts esp since they dont believe in it. But overall does that spell something out or negatively affect anything

Geminilover75,you said~"Is Saturn by any chance transiting your IC?"OMG...YES!!How did you know??My IC is intercepted too(Leo 28*-Libra 1*).Would this make me restless...like I just wanna get up and move somewhere...ANYWHERE!?(my Sol.Ret. Sun is in the 9th this year as well...).Of course, the Gem I was seeing is moving across the country in a few weeks so I'm sure that is adding to my sudden wonderlust.Gosh...what a time it has been lately!! ------------------ S:Taurus ASC:Gemini M:Scorpio ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Be Kinder Than Necessary,For Everyone You Meet Is Fighting Some Kind of Battle..." Im kinda afraid... I will have not seen my ex in i think exactly 4 months on the 8th.. and well she has been in her home country since.. but she just came back yesterday and well she knows I still love her.. and I want her to give me another chance.. and while im not questioning how I feel once venus and pluto go direct cause I know I will still love and want her with all my heart.. Im afraid at this point the **** is really going to hit the fan and she is going to not have any feelings for me whatsoever.. or the opposite.. oh gosh I really hope this turns out good. :/ IP: Logged |

Well Moondreamer81, I figured that you were having a personally life-changing time on some level, so it seemed like a transit to the IC. I've been having the Saturn transit to the MC, so it kinda seems similar to me except that my concerns feel more 'outward' rather than 'inward' if that makes any sense. Personally, on this day of Venus going direct, for some reason I woke up this morning with it feeling more like the first day of a retrograde. Dunno why. IP: Logged |

I woke up thinkin..."Well I guess it would be easy to figure out that Virgo is ny IC,since my ASC. is Gemini & is in my signature."LOL!------------------ S:Taurus ASC:Gemini M:Scorpio ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Be Kinder Than Necessary,For Everyone You Meet Is Fighting Some Kind of Battle..." IP: Logged |

Q= Two of my friends got married during this? What does that forecast Lots of people might chime in w/ 'Cinderella effect' and Magi placements. But in all the research I have read recently this has centered on clarity in our relationship with ourselves and others. Venus will return to her starting degree of the retro in mid Oct. So she is retracing her steps in a foreword direction right now. Others have stated many times on this site and I agree. Maturity, wisdom, love, and humanness overcome or make positive any so called 'malefic' if we make the right choices.IP: Logged |

Node - what if (theorhetically speaking) one met the person for the first time and got married (quickie) within the same Venus rx period? *curious*IP: Logged |

Cat- to me that sounds like a Uranus scenario. And I would look to the Natal [s] and transits. The big picture of both chartsIP: Logged |

Yes, Uranus does make for shocking behaviour at times I agree. You mentioned above the opinions re: magi, do you not give any weight to Magi then - just interested IP: Logged |

Cat- re: Magi..haven't really studied it frankly, so I don't have an opinion! They do seem to have a few celebrity examples that raised my eyebrow. I think It was a Tom Cruise expose. Laughs..so, don't know much about it. Have you found it viable?IP: Logged |

Well, I've been kinda studying it this year and have found on a personal level that it does seem valid, with regard to relationships. I've also been looking at asteroids alot, so found it very interesting to note that they link Chiron to marriage and Juno to 'the mistress' when most astrologers are looking to Juno as marriage. But it does seem to playout - they used Spencer Tracey and Katharine Hepburn as example for the Juno/Chiron thing. But I don't subscribe (don't have money for subscribing) so it makes it challenging to find out more 'for free'. But the so-called 'heartbeak transits' have been right on in my relationships. Also, going back to the Venus rx thing, it's intersting to note that Venus and Chiron links are usually described as perfect for longterm relationships so I was interested in what this meant whilst Venus rx, would it still count as great or would the opposite be true - I don't know???*edit - one more thing - if one had Venus rx natally, would you say that their reaction to relationships during a Venus rx would feel natural to them, e.g if the rx felt horrid to people with Venus direct, would it feel right and ok to Natal Venus rx's? Cat:Not sure if this answers your specific question or not- but I am one of those people that questions many of the keywords used. Let me clarify. Keywords are useful for an overall definition of energy. But I feel that all of the planets define our relationships. I guess I think of it as isolationism and try to stay away from such a restrictive box. To say that Juno placements only mean this or only mean that...it's too restrictive to me. Today's soundbite culture wants things fast, quick. There are so many layers to consider. But we want to say and define things in one or two words, when total assimilation is much more complex... as are we. Keywords to anything are the starting point of study [for me] not the end point. Hope I'm not being too obtuse. I used to get derailed by minutia in my chart. I'm trying to get out of that. And for depth/longevity? I hate to boil it down....but If I were to choose one I would say Saturn.IP: Logged |
