Rev Alice: I value every single person, animal and plant out there. (well, I do kill spiders that get in my house.sorry!).So, I truely love everyone in different levels obviously, but I do love unconditionaly. I was talking about the love between two people that are in a sexual relationship.IP: Logged |

Same is true. Begin with something more like friendship. The person should bring something worthwhile to your life--pleasurable new experience, joy, etc. There should be some real sharing of ideas, ideals, hopes, dreams, etc. Keep in mind that sharing implies equality--never anything like "I give and you take" or vice-versa. With this for a foundation, sexual attraction may follow as a celebration of shared joy. All too often people start with chemistry and try to make love happen from it. They mistake "chemistry" for love. Chemistry--especially the kind that generates attraction with someone you do not really know--is a kind of magnetic pull that is powered by (often unconscious) unmet emotional needs. These attractions collapse the boundaries of personal space between you. All too often, what follows is a matter of one person taking energy from another. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Thank you Rev. Alice Something to ponder on for sure. So I'll take it you don't beleive in love at first sight? This is kind of sad for me though it means I have never known love because i could never be friends with someone and create a relationship without the chemestry part first.I would get grossed out of even kissing someone I am not attracted to and I don't really get that attraction that often, I can count them with my fingers actually, and then some after a disapointment on the kissing part ended up in nothing and a couple ended with great chemestry. I believe in attraction at first sight--but attraction is not love. If you can get to know the person and find things about each other to admire, then that might lead to love. But no, I do not believe in love at first sight---unless you are very very good at reading people. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev.
