My husband will be needing surgery for prostrate cancer. He hasn't called to schedule yet. I wanted to be sure and take advantage of Linda's info about NOT cutting on anything while the moon is in the sign ruling that body part.

I know just enough about astrology to be dangerous, so I was hoping one of you would have a minute to double check my work.

According to my book, male sexual organs are ruled by Scorpio. And according to my ephemeris, we should avoid these dates:

October 12-13-14-15

November 9-10-11-12

December 6-7-8-9

January 2-3-4-5
January 29-30-31-Feb 1

February 26-27-28-29

We just want to avoid any complications. Thanks in advance!

Love to All!

hi, Skyhawk

I can't give you any info on the particular dates for surgery, but recommend you also look at mars, where it is in the sky and also how it interacts with your husbands chart. This is because mars has associations with sexual energy, and blood. I have read too that it is beneficial to have surgery on the waning or dark moon. This is because risk of haemmorage is considerably reduced. Certainly, the forest men know a tree operated on at full moon will leak more sap than one at the new. Strange but true.

I hope that helps a little.

Also, I would recommend some active visualisations, starting now, where you and your husband see the surgery, and see it going as well as possible EG that the surgeon removes all cancer cells, that healing afterwards is quick and germ free... this is bound to be a difficult time, perhaps this will help emphasize that the operation is a positive thing (bringing greater health), and prepare body and mind...

Best wishes,

melindi

Avoid not just the Scorpio Moon, but also the Taurus Moon (which connects via reflex) also the waxing and especially the Full Moon of any sign.
More than this, dont worry and stay bright, positive and loving in outlook. Even in death there is absolutely nothing to fear and Love Heals All.

Thank you both, Melinda & dj!

I will adjust my info accordingly. Hubby was going to call and make his appointment today. Now I'm glad he procrastinated.

Yes, very bright outlook. His PSA is only 7. Caught it early. He's young and will bounce back from surgery just fine. And we'll probably still get to have great sex!

Love to All!

Thanks again friends! We finally heard from the surgeon's office. They gave us a date from the window we requested. Even the number for that day is perfect. I am so grateful to you and Source for perfect guidance.

A growing darkness has been brought to the Light for healing and purification.

Life is Good!

Very happy news to share! The surgery took place November 5th. Everything went perfectly. My hubby is now healing by leaps and bounds and is cancer free.

Interestingly, the surgeon commented on how little bleeding there was. Normally this procedure produces a lot of blood loss. He had requested that we have two units of hubby's blood on stand-by, but he didn't even need it. So when he commented on this during our post-op consult, I told him we had planned it that way by requesting a date during the waning moon! He grinned and rolled his eyes. I don't mind his skepticism one little bit. He did a wonderful job, and I am eternally grateful.

And again I want to thank you Melinda and dj for your advice. It all contributed to picking the perfect date. This whole process has been in Divine Harmony with healing and wholeness for my hubby and me both. Some major soul work goin' on here!

Miracles abounding!
