MCM...just curious...what is your theory on Mars in Cancer? (I don't have this placement, but missed the thread that had that part on it).There are always exceptions to the rule, but in my life experience, Pisces men don't do anything for me. I have a few very close Pisces female friends though. Same thing with Sagg men. I don't dislike them all, I just never seem to have many in my life. Sagg females, however, are the friends that I seem to have the most in common with...although I have no Sagg placements.  8th IP: Logged |

Thanks guys. Alot of people argue when i talk about Mars in Cancer. I wish they'd shut it. Well. My theory is that it is quite clear that there are strong and weak positions. Anyone that cannot understand that and thinks that everything is equal or the same needs to grow up and doesn't know anything about astrology. It'd be like saying Mars in Cancer is as good a position as Mars in Sagittariu - which would of course be balderdash. Now. Mars simply isn't 'happy' in Cancer. It's impetuous, firey, assertive, confident, action-focused nature simply doesn't meet it's best medium in this sign. A sign which is sensitive, emotional, careful, nurturing, slow, and self-protective. Now the Moon in Cancer - now that's a good placing, or Moon in Taurus. It is clear how and why these placings work better for the person that has them, and the people they interact with. But Mars is 'stifled' in Cancer, and i find that the ego-assertion mechanism is dysfunctional. Subjects with this placing are over-sensitive at times, prickly, slow to act, and tend towrds an inferiority-complex. It's as though they block their own assertion, and their own goals. Mars in Cancer will more likely bring out the negative manifestations of Cancer than the positive. In the same way that Venus in say, Libra will more likely bring out the positive manifestations of Libra than the bad - because it's 'strong' in that sign.
Mars in Cancer can have it's good sides if it's treated very gently, such as considerate, and kind. But you have to treat them very gently. They're a real soft touch you know, and can turn from kind and gentle, to a spiteful hate-filled volcanoe in a moments notice.
Overall i give the position 3 out of 10.

It's all in the aspects/House of the planet.
Mars in Cancer isn't necessarily weak. Mars in Cancer can still kick your ass, if placed & aspected peoperly.
Every Mars placement has its pros and cons, depending on the aspects.
And who said that Venus in Libra is oh so perfect?
If badly aspected, it can be crappier than a Canc. Mars. (for example: fickle, superficial, unrealistic)
And from my personal experience, most of the people with Can. Mars that i've met so far are quite energetic and forceful.

Scorpio - like Bruce Lee. It takes someone alot bigger than me to kick my a$$ (which isn't hard i'm only 11 stone).And to be honest i get on with Mars in Cancer women, especially sexually, but i was being impartial. ------------------

As i said i was describing Mars in Cancer ceteris paribus. I think you're special Belgz. And i wouldn't have your Mars in any other sign. I think it works in some poeple (especiallly girls).------------------

I don't hate any sign, but Cappy and Scorpio men usually irritate me. Cappy women and Gemini women as well.So I would have to say Cappy is my least fav sign, and I would have to chalk that up to the fact that every Cappy I know personally is extremely negative and they all believe that nobody ever has it harder than them. They're the most self-described "hard done by" sign I've ever met. There are Cappys on LL here that don't come across that way, but I'm just speaking from my personal xp IRL. Scorpio men I find to be obtuse, indirect, and just plain annoying. Kinda ironic considering I'm a quintuple Scorp, but I've just found Scorp men in general to be a complete pain to deal with. And with Gemmy women, I'm personally biased because my grandmother is the worst type of Gemmy, and I just don't know many others. IP: Logged |

Capricorn of both sexes are my worst enemies. I hate, and I mean hate, every Capricorn I've ever met. I don't even like my own Capricorn Ascendant. Thats the one thing I would change about me, astrologically.
I can't stand Libra women, or women with a lot of Libra in them. BUT I love Libra men.
Sagittarian men annoy and irritate me the most to the point I have to run away from them. They're like grown ups with pea sized brains.

I haven't had the exact type of experience you asked about. I suppose the closest I've had to it is that I tend to have good chemistry with Taurus men, while it's more hit or miss with Taurus women. (But I adore many Tauruses of both sex.)IP: Logged |

Virgo females seem two-faced to me, Capricorn females seem too cold.... i do however like Aries females they are beautiful, personality wise they may be a tad too aloof for me, Leos are great, a little bossy but i can deal with that. Wouldn't get into a relationship with a Scorpio at all, too dangerous... Gemini feamles are sweet and very pretty. Don't know alot of Libras but would like to.Aquar. females are good to know and great to have a conversation with. Don't know alot of Taurean females whatsoever, so can't comment as well as Cancerians and Pisc. as well.IP: Logged |

I agree with you on Taurus women.
- One sign I have NEVER ever had as a close female friend because they crawled under my skin has been Virgo. Virgo men always seem to be the type of guys that my friends get consumed with and avoid me for months because they are too busy stroking their little girly-man’s ego. Spineless and petty is what comes to mind when I think of them. I am only basing this on my experience with them.

I completely agree with you about Virgo men too. They seem boring and as you put it like little girly-men. I also think they're spineless, too.

I'm not too fond of Gemini women - they're so self-absorbed, and they ones I've met have had problems relating to anything that didn't directly concern them. They are also often pseudo intellectuals, who tries to make like they know everything by talking about it convincingly. I have had some problems with cancer women - they're so emotional. And martyr like.. I'm totally immune to emotionel blackmail - so this is not a happy union for any of us. Virgo men are too straight for me. They don't like me either, so it's no loss.. Scorpio men are too much. Too obviously mystical - like they all read that scorpios are hot in bed. And they're not above lying.. Too weak to tell the truth, and too into themselves..
(But I like scorpio ascendants) All the above relate to my own experiences.

I have noticed I get along wonderfully with most of my fellow Sags and Arians females. I have never had a close relationship with Arian men, so who knows. I have noticed some weird and discord vibe w my II opposites. Especially with my daugther Some ways we are very similar, in others we have each other crawling up the walls I do have only one planet in Air (Pluto), which may be gas that sparks up my fire. Some mistrust btw Cappie females and myself. I currently work with three of them, and there is no bond. If I had to define why, I'd say that they tend to be cold/calculating/secret. I think they would say I'm loud/foolish/proud. Just not a cozy blend of energy. The men of that sign, I find to be brillant and beautiful. The most negative experience I've ever had, was/is a Scorpio female. We were once friends, but she moved far away. We'd communicate at first, and them lost touch. The phase of our friendship, was during my happy go wild single days. A few years later, I met her sister (Sag) and we became friends. After awhile, we became best friends and still are Sadly, the Scorpio does not understand or like this at all. Its very stressful when she comes to visit her sister, because she will make hurtful comments about me (famous sting). I used to be silent, out of respect for her sister. Finally, I got tired of it and called her out on it. She stated she was joking, and has toned it down. I do feel sad that she feels rejected/replaced, because soemtimes firendships jsut run their course. Nothing personal, but then I am a Sag and see things differently than she does.

i have mars in scorpio but 0 degrees rx and i hate that. opposes my venus too and that sucks..
i can never make a decision.-also moon libra.
i clash with scorpio women and scorpio men.
i like cancer women but not cancer men.
pisces men adore me to the point they would die for me,they made alot of sacrifices for me. i have mercury in pisces in 8th conj. PoF.
i adore libras and leos.
gemini irritate me.
virgo completely indifferent.
aries ...never met enough to say for sure
but most of all... i can t deal with capricorns,esp. men.

I wouldn't say that I hate any sign per se ... however, I do try to avoid Scorpio women as much as possible. So far every Scorpio girl I've met ended up backstabbing me. They are simply too intense and vindictive for my taste. IP: Logged |

I'm a Scorpio male, and I'm living at home ATM together with my mom and my brother who are both Saggies. In a rather crappy situation we're having sincere troubles understanding each other, and that ****** me off sometimes. The way I see it, Saggies are in general good people free of all evils so to speak. But the bad side to this is how can they seperate right from wrong? With them, that's not a natural ability it seems; everything's just accepted the way it is. When you're a mother for example, how on earth can you raise your kids right (or take good care of yourself for that matter) when you're blind to what's wrong? On another note I have Sagittarius friends and acquaintances too, and at parties for example they're simply great having around. IP: Logged |
