Hi there,

maybe some of you like to deal with synastry-charts - and would like to add some thoughts/impressions on the one below? Maybe some of you have experienced similar combinations?

In real life, the major theme of this (mentally) intense relationship are power games. Other factors are:

- longing & detachment
- mental closeness, but also mind games (sometimes evil)
- passion that borders to aggression and competition
- attraction & rejection
- enthusiasm & control
- a seemingly "fated" fascination for each other.

One person tends to act aloof, cold, strict, controlling and behaves like the "dominant" one. The other person tends to feel well desired - but also victimized, controlled, kept on arms' length and played a fool by the other.

I wonder whether you can figure out, who is who in this relationship?

Some of the more compelling conjunctions seem to be:
- U's Vertex conjunct P's NN
- U's Sun & Mercury conjunct P's Lilith
- U's Venus conjunct P's Pluto

I find the cusps of the 1st/7th and 4th/10th houses/axis intruigingly combined, like: P's MC conjunct U's ASC.

And: What do you think of the respective house placements of the planets?

This relationship is draining, mentally and emotionally. And I wonder which factors could contribute to that - and whether there is any hope for improvement?

Your ideas are very welcome.

Typically with Pluto/Venus conjunctions in synastry, the Pluto person has the upper hand. BUT... I'm going to say that the outer person is the more controlling/aloof one. Outer person has Pluto in the 12th house conjunct ascendant, so they have the potential to be controlling and manipulative, playing mind games, especially on the subconscious level (12th house). And the inner person has Neptune conjunct ascendant and square Venus, giving the danger of being overly idealistic and the victim (or even cause) of deception, especially in matters of love. Looking at the two charts separately, I imagine if these two people were in a room together, the outer person would be the more dominating, controlling one.

I suppose any relationship has the potential for improvement, if both people are very intent on making things better... but the synastry does not look good a long-term thing, especially not a stable one based on equality of the partners. A lot of potential for deception, maybe even infidelity.

As for the house placement of the planets, I notice three of the inner person's planets in the outer person's 11th house. That sometimes indicates people who meet online or through technology somehow... and one person's Venus in the other's 12th -- could have started as an affair? And the other Venus in the 10th, maybe this was an office romance?
