i am so afraid of driving.
maybe is because my mars is in 3rd house at 0 scorpio?
being an aries w sun in 8th maybe my death will come from a car accident?i just got a new DL but im scared. i havent driven in 21 years.

I'm scared to drive too.
My Mars is in Cancer in the 6th house.
I think it has more to do with the horrible way my dad drives, but I worry that it could be something more.
I just got my permit, but I haven't driven yet.
I'm 20 and the pressures on for me to start, thats the only reason I think I have to.
I'm a Gemini sun in the 5th house btw.IP: Logged |

I use to like driving, but i'm starting to get use to taking the bus. My aries moon can lead to road rage... i think all the let the driving to someone else during the morning rush hour. This gets intresting, MercuryBird, your a 5th house gemini sun also...?? IP: Logged |

I have mars in aries in the 8. I love driving - it's almost like meditating. It calms me to have to concentrate on so many things at once.. I'm not above racing other drivers, but only in a safe way.. IP: Logged |

I HATE driving. I cannot stand it. Driving is one thing that makes me insane. I am not sure if I have road rage or people in this state do NOT know how to drive. Is it so hard to use directionals, headlights, and drive the speed limit???Mars Leo, 10th House

OMG...I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one w/ this irrational fear!!I'm 26,and still am deathly afraid of driving.I don't have my license...the few times I've gotten behind the whell,I've been paralyzed w/ fear.Oh...my Mars is in Taurus in house 12.------------------

Alia, you could cross the road and get hit by a car as well.. I wouldn't avoid driving based on astrology or an irrational fear of dieing.We all die one day.. You can't censor the way you live your life, just in case you have a car accident. PS. Both Sun in Aries and Scorpio Mars are hardcore placements .. Maybe something else is too blame for the fear. Moondreamer, I didn't get my license until this year. Right before I turned 27. Because I have a major fear of driving. I drive but it's only a few times a week. if it's somewhere I am not use to or feel uneasy about my husband drives. I have mars in virgo/10th house. (Very anxious and nervous energy.. it sucks!) But I also have an Aries moon, and I get ****** off really easily! But what I think fuels my anxiety with driving is my perfectionism. If I don't do something perfectly then I get upset. So if I don't turn just perfect enough, park perfect enough.. handle a situation perfect enough. it upsets me. I drive myself crazy!
Silly thing is I'm actually a really good driver.

I do not fear driving. I just fear I may hurt "accidentally" hurt someone because of their awful driving abilities.IP: Logged |

Omg, I HATE being on the road. Hate it Hate it Hate it. I live in a State where you'll be hard pressed to find a good driver. Plus, I just don't like being stuck behind the wheel in traffic....I get soooo impatient on the road and have some roadrage problems?? 
Mars in Aries/3rd house but I think its the virgo moon that puts me on edge and makes me highstrung while on the road. But the mars in aries is definitely the reason I drive unneccesarily fast.

I love driving, and the car is an extension of my body!Sagi Sun, Arian Moon, Scorpio Mars (3rd house)....... I do not attribute the attitude towards driving on the planet and stars - but to the feelings and emotions one acquire from daily life and experiences......

Alia, I have Mars in Scorpio and it's generally regarded as a fearless/brave position. So is Sun in Aries. If you are having severe anxiety about driving, perhaps hypnosis would help. If you don't want to go to a hypnotist, there are several resources online for downloading MP3s or buying CDs. I love the CDs by Dick & Tara Sutphen at http://www.prohypnosis.com, and they have one that is a "zapper" for anxieties. I'm with Moonie on this one!
Attitude towards driving could be best attributed to the feelings and emotions
one acquire from daily life and experiences......But...(Libra Joke here) on the other hand with this in mind:
We could say that our feelings and emotions are in fact an extension of our Moon. Hmm? - [me = Libra Moon] hmm? [me = Libra Mars] either way I go Libra effects it.

I actually just hugged my car about 20 minutes ago.I LOOOOOOOVE driving.
I look forward to my biannual End-of-the-work-season-I'm-on-break roadtrip. (That makes no sense whatsoever, does it?? I work seasonally, so every spring and fall I get about 6 weeks off during which I am unemployed and homeless- hence, I do a lot of traveling.) Since October 12 I have logged about 2500 miles...Jackson Hole to Vegas to Portland OR. And I am SO proud of myself that I have learned to navigate in Portland, Land of Bridges and Idiot Drivers, without getting lost. YAY!!! Driving is Me Time- my music, and my thoughts. I can't imagine what aspects gave me this...I have Mars in Taurus in the 6th.... most of my 1st house is in Sag, even tho I have a Scorp Asc...lots of stuff in Mercury?!?
