As some of you know, I'm a Leo woman who's been confused for ages about a Scorpio man.

It has suddenly dawned on me that in this relationship, we're both acting like our MOON signs and not our sun signs. He has a Pisces moon, and I have a Cancer moon.

When I'm vaguely interested in someone, I act like a Leo (sunny, haughty, center of attention, flipping my long blond hair)...but when I'm wildly interested in someone, I act like shy, moody Cancer!

When you're in love, do you act more like your sun sign or moon sign?

Capricorn Sun, Virgo Moon person here. I don't know that I'd be able to distinguish the difference.

Hi Lucia,

Yes. Your moon sign rules your emotions, and love is an emotion. Your Venus sign plays a role as well. I've also read that if there's a common element between the two people (i.e., one person's sun in Leo, the other person's moon in Aries), the relationship takes on the "feel" of the element. Since you both have water moons, your relationship will have a watery feel. If you were dating an Aries or a Sag though, your fiery side would probably come out more, and that relationship would have a very different dynamic.

I'm a Virgo(Leo cusp) with an Aries moon.

Boy does that cause me problems!!!

The more I like a guy, instead of being "analytical" and cautious I'm passionate, impatient, and have a HORRIBLE temper when I don't get what I want!!!

It's borderline embarassing.
I can go from wanting to marry a guy(after knowing him like 3 weeks) to being totally done with him because he rebuffed my advances or didn't move fast enough. What's worse is that even if he goes along with me, I might get bored with him.

I try to be patient in areas of love and relationships, but I don't know how to be. I'm pretty much all or nothing.

Unfortunately, my moon is also fickle as hell(or my Mars in Gemini?) so I'll be over him and moved on to the next and he's still trying to figure out what happened.

I'd say your Moon sign but your easiest most compatible relationships are usually those that connect to your Descendant. These feel effortless.

as always the whole chart must be taken into consideration because there are exceptions to the rule.

yup I think you're right, Lucia.

Aqua sun, cancer moon here... Although I would say that at first I'd act allot like my leo asc (or something in between of the sun and the asc).

uhh, I don't know. Complicated.

Try 2 pisces suns with 2 leo moons.
At first we were all pisces swimming around, doing the back and forth, insecure, sensitive thing. BUT... I'm telling you that when it comes to our deep, true emotions its all leo baby!

That ain't always pretty but geez its hot

I'm dating an Aqaurius with a Cancer moon and venus in Cap, and Scorp ASC. I am a Gem with a Libra moon, Cancer venus, and Virgo ASC.

I see in her that in this relationship (actually, just dating), she acts a lot like a Cancer/Capricorn, and I act a lot like a Libra/Cancer. I see her ASC sometimes though and our suns are always showing as well.

Umm definitely. I read all the scorpio descriptions (his sun) of how they catch you in love and they never seem to fit him. But I read the piscean descriptions and BINGO: its on the money. And I just had the pleasure of going through Swerve's thread on "Pisces men-bad initiators?" and I must say that ALOT of it applies to him...scary. It frustrated me that he wasn't that aggressive with me coz I'm not an aggressive person when trying to catch a guy myself (hello, cancer sun/virgo moon here) and I assumed sometimes that he didn't care. So you can imagine how long it took us to actually get together. Gahh. And yes, I think my virgo moon comes into play as well because I became this shy but emotionally tight-lidded person around him. I would fuss over him kind of the same way my virgo mother does too ('don't you know that's bad for you' and such). Yeah.

You know, I tend to notice that alot of people with their sun and moon in the same element (but trine)are drawn to or end up with people who's suns would complete the trinity. Strange.

AG!

I'm the same way, both pisces & virgo are shy and introverted, so how do I tell the difference? Do I do his taxes when I'm into him? I probably would

Hey, I never thought about it but yes! Scorpio sun, Leo moon. When I am getting to know someone I am very talkative, very outgoing, jovial. Interesting thread.

I think I have qualities of both signs(Taurus Sun/Scorpio Moon). When I find someone I like,I'm determined, persistant and sensual(Taurus)...but also intense, passionate, sexual, jealousy prone and can be possessive(Scorpio).I am trying to work on those negative qualities.I'm also SUPER loyal, despite the reputation of my Gemini Venus...

Hi Swerve, how you doing?
With a conjunction to the Descendant it can be any personal planet or Asc/Desc.

I'm good thanks Lala, hope you are too.

So for me thats Taurus.

I do find Taurus girls sexy, that Earthiness.

What is better then, Sun or Moon Taurus (or Venus)?

Why is the descendant more important in this? Interested.

Earth? Sun?
sorry I'm lost

Moon is exalted and Venus is home in Taurus, so you can't get better than that.
Connecting to your Descendant would be an emotionally satisfying love match.

Sun would challenge you in a complimentary way to be the other half of the whole
(just like peas and carrots)

Personally I like the Moon contacts.

I'm rather mystified by the descendant theory. I love Aquas, and I attract the males often, but ALWAYS only on a friendship level. I've never felt a desire to take it any further, and neither have they. I just don't feel any romantic chemistry there. I do enjoy venus in Aquarius though. That seems to be a better connection for me. I tend to butt heads with Aqua moons for some reason.

Well I have Aqua moon and venus so, I guess what I attract is real. I do like the emotionally distant men. But mu Pisces Sun is hurt by them and my Mars in Aries wants them, ooooohhhhh its just one big ball of confusion for me... LOL!!!

Moon sign,Cancer.

I am highly emotional when it comes to love.
I feel like i need that attention a LOT to make me happy. That's the Aries sun tied in there too.
