Topic: some help and/or advice needed if possible

hello,
i am new to the board and have loved reading it and eveyone's insights, i have already learned so much in the 2 or 3 months that i have been here.
i know basics of astrology (natal chart) but don't know much about transits and am planning to start keeping track of them to see possible effects.
my problem is for the last three years, but especially this year (2007) have been really difficult for me although i can't describe it in tangible terms....i have wonderful, loving, supporting and understanding friends and family, am applying to grad school and know what direction i want my career to take, i am volunteering also at a place that i love, and overall on the outside everything looks okay...however, i have not been able to crawl out of negative thinking pattern and just being down constantly (when i'm alone, i try to hide this around friends and family - most people who meet me think and say to me that i am always happy and always smiling)
i don't think i am clinically depressed but i was wondering if anyone can give me some insights into transits that could help contribute to this or any obvious signs in my natal chart that i am completely overlooking.
i'm extremly sensitive to everything around me although this is something interal and not something that is obvious externally. some main issues are struggling with self esteem (although i am shown love every day and do appreciate it!), feeling like i can never reveal certain parts of myself to others (fear of rejection?) and feelings of worthlessness. i know it might sound a little childish but i can't shake off these feelings no matter how hard i try to focus on positive thinking and looking at the bigger picture. sorry for the long post!

Novosibirsk, Russia I don't mean to sound like a complete whiner but i would appreciate greatly if anyone had time to see if there is anything i am overlooking or certain transits that might affect this - seeing as this is something i have started to struggle with recently (past three years) and going from an overly idealist and optimistic outlook to a more pessimistic one has been a difficult shift and not one that i have wanted to make consciously....thanks! Hey Aquarius! I'm an Aquarius and a rookie at astrology as well! I looked at your chart, and you're similar to me. I have a Taurus rising and a Virgo moon - kinda opposite you. You're not whining at all - these last few years have been difficult for me, too. Not sure why either, but I've trudged through them. i know what you mean by trudging through the years....i like the earth asc. and moon as i feel it balances out some of the the more airy qualities although i'm still so impulsive regardless of when i know better lol IP: Logged |

Aquarius4. Maybe your Sensitive or Worry because of your virgo ascendent..I have this too and think it intensifies worry with my Cancer Sun but have you also considered your sesitivity coming from your roots? You have Neptune and Uranus in the 4th house.. I also have this placement with saturn.. and its not good regarding the home/early life. an aspect that might suggest your sensitivity is Moon square Mercury. if you go to www.astrologyweekly.com you can find good descriptions for aspects.. besides the bad.. you have a kind of sexy aspect with Venus conjunct Mars in the 8th house

I love my pisces placements haha (i think because my DC is in pisces?) I am very attracted to the pisces personality.
Early home life was definitrly difficult (like you said uranus and neptune in the 4th), also my moon is opposite saturn, which i think indicates problems with the mother figure so i can see how all those aspects can influence certain things.
the virgo ascendant and worry - BIG time!
although i tend not to "sweat the small stuff" mostly, that is usually concentrated on bigger issues.
it seems like most of the self-esteem issues do actually stem from my mother (not being good enough, she is a virgo sun and moon, although we have a good relationship now and have repaired many aspects of it) but i still struggle with how to break out of it and certain times when i feel like that isn't even a possibility anymore. by the way, i IP: Logged |

~ aquarius4 ~your main transits over the last three years .. transiting Pluto has squared your Mars/Venus conjunction ..
t.Pluto is now almost conjunct your natal Neptune ..
that's 'generational' .. so check what natal Neptune aspects you may have
( e.g. natal neptune opposes your south node ) last three years or so .. transiting Saturn has moved through Cancer and Leo ..
so would have squared ( at some point ) your natal Moon and Chiron .. and natal Pluto and Saturn ..
and opposed natal Lillith and Mercury .. and recently your natal Sun .. transiting Chiron .. over the last three years .. would have ..
conjoined natal Lillith and Mercury ..
and squared natal Saturn/Pluto and your natal Moon the above are from 2004 till now .. currently transiting Neptune is about 2 degrees prior to squaring your natal Chiron .. in 2003 transiting Uranus conjoined your Sun various bits of info here ..
