I've read the book. I borrowed it from my ex's mom. (Hehe)

It's been awhile...

However, I did like the book very much. Most of what it taught were already well known, law of attraction, positive attitude, mind over matter, however, the book does a really nice job putting all the information together, and then adding in some famous successful people's opinions and thoughts. The way they wrote the book, or constructed it, did make it intersting. However, there are some b its of it I didn't agree with. It said that we shoudl never ever focus on teh negativity, and if a friend is ranting, you should change the subject. I believe that negative feelings are here for a reason. When we are sad, it would benefit us to figure out why we are sad, and then to correct it. If we are feeling bad, its a warning that something in our life isn't going well. If we're feeling guilty, well, maybe we should analyze it and figure out what it is. Negative feelings, i've read, are warnings that something in your life is a bit off track, and they help you realize what it is, and get you back on. The Secret want us to completely disregard our negative feelings, and only focus on the positive. While being positive is very very important, sometimes , forcing yourself really isn't the way to make things better.

Haha...it sounds like a paper for school. I'm sorry.

But that is my thought. A lot of hte book is very worth reading, and very good to keep in mind, but not all of it.
