I wasn't surprised that my hockey team's best player is a water sign, but I suspected he'd be a Pisces. Nope. He's a Cancer. Our top hockey line, which is probably the best in the Western Conference has at least two Cancers. The same two Cancers who both won individual awards for their efforts during the season in 2006.

Joe Thornton - July 2, 1979

2006 - Hart Memorial Trophy winner for being the Most Valuable Player in the entire NHL
2006 - Art Ross Trophy for leading the league in Scoring Points

During the 2006-2007 season, Joe Thornton recorded 90 assists for the second season in a row, joining Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky as the only players in NHL history accomplish this.

Jonathan Cheechoo - July 15, 1980

2006 - Maurice Richard Trophy for being the leading scorer in the NHL for a season

I know that none of you are probably familiar with these people, but I love these astrological discoveries. Thornton is known for his cool head and surgical precision, and Cheechoo's known for his clumsy skating, heart, and his way of finding the place where he can make things happen.

Oh Jeez, you're right! Wow.

Interesting. I guess it's good that in the sport that gives you, "Five for fighting," these two on my team are seldom involved in fights, and are seen as non-violent.

It can't be as famously bad as all that then. My son has it too. We'll see with the sports later on!

this reminds me of the two captains that the indian cricket team has have in the recent past , the normally coy, gentleman cancerian turn into heavily aggressive guys .
the kind of aggresion that they have brought into the team is unprecendeted especially bcos indians normally are pretty shy people .
the same happened with the hockey team too .
we had a cancerian captian there too.

infact, i see a pattern in cancer's behaviour when they are dealing with their professions . it is completly different than their personal self , infact complete opposite of what they are known for !

Cancerian men are supposedly known to excel in sports or potentially be violent. I wonder what's with this? I know several Cancerian women (I'm one too) and many tend to have a certain bite to their personality. We say it's because somewhere down the line we were burned and we retreated into our shells only to ocassionally lash out - but otherwise we're sweet???
I think out of all the astrological profiles Cancer is the most elusive out-of-date of them all.

I love Zizu.. Zidane. And head butting that guy made him even sexier. Now I know that's a little twisted, but that's how it is.

As a huge Formula 1 fan, (McLaren Mercedes is my team) although this guy isn't in my team, he's Cancerian.

Nico Rosberg (BMW) was born on June 27th, the youngest driver to test for Formula One, maybe that was before Lewis Hamilton.

Then there's... Ralf Schumacher (Toyota), younger brother of Michael Schumacher, the "greatest driver in history" and Ralf was born on 30th June.

Then there's Nick Heidfeld, born 22 June (cusp) and he drives for BMW.

The Most violent F1 Driver in my books Juan Pablo Montoya Roldán (born September 20, 1975) a Virgo.

see link below of his tantrums:

There is some swearing. Sorry.
