Hi, lately I've noticed that most of the relationships I choose seem to have a certain amount of intensity coupled with passion within them. It seems to make things more alive and exciting, the craving for something electric and firey seems to always be there...in my natal chart I have Pluto square ascendant, Moon square Pluto, and Mars square Pluto. Do you find that your Pluto within your chart makes you desire something intense as well, or is having a simple/normal relationship more your cup of tea? In a nutshell does boring cut the mustard lol? ------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer I "FEEL" therefor I am IP: Logged |

I have strong Pluto and I don't find myself very desireable. Although I do have gotten some hellos from most women. But that's about it. But I do wish I had a (female) partner that is matched to mine strengths and weaknesses.

Hi lc7 ~Interesting topic….. quote: the craving for something electric and firey seems to always be there
Hmmmm, I wouldn’t use the word “craving” in my case – it’s not a conscious (or unconscious) yearning or thirst for spiritual/physical/mental/emotional passion. More that I just am not drawn to people as friends or lovers who don’t express that “edginess,” who come across as shallow and aren’t able to do anything interesting or talk about anything interesting. My Pluto conj ASC comes out if I let it – generally I’m guarded about turning the knob to Full Volume unless I trust someone implicitly – mostly the Libra Sun and Leo ASC express the light and cheerful side of my personality. But with Pluto quincunx Moon, and Pluto a part of the two Yods in my chart (Pluto/Neptune/Moon, Pluto/Sun/Moon), Hades is tied inextricably to my emotional makeup – and very deeply too, since Pluto is in the 12th and Moon in the 8th. Possibly Pluto sq Mercury gives me the facility for radical transformation of my thought processes – I try to be open to many different ways of thinking. quote: is having a simple/normal relationship more your cup of tea?
‘Fraid Not!!! Many years ago I was engaged to a sweet, normal Aries guy (except that his dad was a Teamsters Union big boss ). But as much as I loved him, there was just something missing. Guess I’m just not a white-picket-fence kinda gal. With my Sun sq Uranus and an Aqua DSC, the Uranian eccentrics are my kinda people The Plutonian (and Uranian) people test my mettle, and I like that. I’m not into any kind of power struggle – I’m happy to give way or compromise if it’s something I’m not really invested in. With your Pluto in Libra, do you feel the same, lc7?? IP: Logged |

I'm not a Plutonian per se, but I've got an 8th house Sun and Jupiter. My Moon is conjunct my Pluto, and both square my Sun.I used to be really attracted to intensity. It's difficult not to be allured by it. The question for me is, "Do these relationships work out?" In my experience they don't in the long run. Too much passion means that there's too little friendship, and to me friendship is what you need for when the passion subsides. That's my two cents. IP: Logged |

Yeah I agree with your comment AG, but are Plutonians passionate about everything every second of the day?? And were you talking strictly about love relationships?? In my experience, the Plutonians have been the ones who can wholly give themselves over to laughter, and be the silliest, giddiest pratfall-jokers around -- perhaps this is to offset the depth at the other end of the pool??IP: Logged |

A resounding "YES!!!!" from MK's corner... Its all about the intensity. Some people (non-Plutonians) label it drama, and disregard it. I don't care for drama... but I love true feeling, true passion, real people.
Scorp Asc here... with Pluto in Libra, 10th house... whether that makes me Plutoninan or not- I know what I like. It doesn't matter if someone is intense about politics, kids, h&ll, even knitting- if you have an obsession, its all good. The most common statement people say about me is "whoa- you are intense." Once upon a time, I dated a lovely boy- with a stable family, they were still married and made lots of money... I did Xmas with them (church even!! wow!!) made candy with the mom, helped cook Xmas dinner- regardless I had only been dating him about a month. BOOOOOORRRING.... nothing there. Perfect on paper, totally lacking any passion whatsoever. Who am I still with? The crazy guy, the dark horse, the one with a horrible past and a dim future... but oh- the passion the fever the butterflies, the racing pulse, the consuming intensity of it all.. i understand- it seems that these Pluto relationships burn out quick- but yet... I have been with him for 10 years.. and he is my friend, my most intimate friend.. I need this. I cannot settle for less. MK IP: Logged |

Yes, for me it has to be there somewhere. My most Plutonic placements: Scorpio moon Pluto square ascendant and descendant Pluto trine Venus Also, transiting Pluto is currently square my natal Pluto, as well as transiting Pluto conjunct my ascendant. I *have* been in a relationshp that was very comfortable and earthy. We were best friends and it was really nice, very easy. But he had Mars in Scorpio, sooo you could say there was enough Pluto action going on in all the right places to keep it exciting. Eventually though, there just wasn't enough intensity for me overall. What I was looking for was for a more active Mars influence when it came to everyday things - to jazz up the day to day, I guess. Well, I got what I wanted and ended up with a double-Aries Plutonic Gemini... lolol... and now that I'm in this relationship, which has six major Pluto contacts (and five or six minor ones), I like the intensity it brings and I don't think I could ever go back to a 'mundane' relationship again. Passion/Friendship.I have to have both and I believe both are possible, not excluding one for the other. I've felt it...I feel it. Reconciled, there is no other way for me. Passion to me is inspired by Awe for something, someone. So, even in its most over-taking feelings, passion would also enflame an awe of caring. Intense in its reaching, it could not forsake it. passionnément

I love intensity, which is good since people tend to have intense reactions towards me: they either love me or hate me. I've got mars, venus and pluto all aspecting each other, moon square pluto, and pluto conjunct midheaven. These aspects tend to get me into a lot of trouble...hehe IP: Logged |

Pluto conj Mercury and Uranus Pluto Square Moon Scorpio ASC.Intensity: It sort of removes the crap and gets to the core of things. I like that. But excitement is subjective. What excites me could be boring to another. I've been able to sustain long and meaningful relationships with it, but it is never a bore. I love it. added: One more thing... re: **Do you find that your Pluto within your chart makes you desire something intense as well,**well .. in the sphere of personal relationships .. not really .. maybe when i was younger the 'intensity' factor was an attraction .. but i could well do without it .. these days if i feel intense about someone i'm more likely to keep my distance the plutonic intensity is something i really dislike about myself .. has caused me too much trouble in the past .. in fact i could do with a visual reminder .. a little gizmo that would notify me of certain transits and a flashing text message that would read something like .. " watch yer intensity factor today !! " stomach ulcers are no fun at all .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ pluto square sun pluto sextile moon pluto trine venus pluto sextile saturn pluto sextile neptune pluto trine midheaven ( mc ) pluto opposite vertex pluto square juno ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ am not looking forward to an upcoming pluto opposite ascendant transit at all .. maybe best i find a location sans other people for that time period .. Sun in Scorpio (8th) Saturn in Scorpio (8th) Pluto in ScorpioSun conjunct Pluto Moon square Pluto Jupiter square Pluto Neptune sextile Pluto Maybe my Aqua ascendant chills out some potential intensity, but I read somewhere that people with their asc. in Aqua basically are lovers of freedom which could go to extremes to defend that freedom. Well, that couldn't be any more true in my case. In addition, I absolutely cannot stand the mundane and ordinary in the long run. I prefer to explore, dream and discover as much as possible. For me, I think of it as needing something deeper...cause I also have a Gem Moon and Libra ASC. Too much intensity makes me squirm! However if I don't have some kind of connection on a deeper level to a person, I don't stick around for long (in a relationship sense). Passion, on the other hand, is a definite must! All of my past relationships have Pluto connections. Mostly Moon/Pluto.Pluto conj Uranus Pluto opp Sun and Chiron Pluto trine Vertex in the 8th Pluto trine Nept and Jupiter Moon in the 8th 8th

Pluto conjuncts my ASC 3 degrees. Barely missed my 12H thank goodness. Of course it means I'm obsessive and I am. When i have interest in something I become OBSESSED with it and it consumes all my thoughts and efforts. Its not as bad as it sounds it doesn't interfere with my daily living but I am consumed by my passions. But I'm also supposed to be a control freak or something which I'm not.IP: Logged |
