but my original reason for posting was to possibly gain insight astrologically what is going on in a job loss so that in the future all you lovely people can beware of a possible job loss or termination Im going to post info.. im not exactly how to figure out what was going on.. but my birth info is July 21st 1988 10:12 PM Syracuse, NY

My job location and time when I was fired today- October 7th 2007 somewhere between 1:55 pm and 2:05 pm Red Creek, NY

I hope we can figure something out.

There are 3 things I see. The first is that transiting Pluto is almost exactly conjunct your Saturn which suggests incredibly hard work and loss. This transit is happening in your 10th house of career. That’s the big bell. There may be some loss of hopes, wishes, dreams or a friend/friends as well.

The 2nd event I see is that transiting Uranus is retrograde right now approaching 14 degrees Pisces. It is forming a Sesqui-quadrate to your Sun which rules your 6th house of the work environment. (a sesqui-quadrate is an aspect of 135 degrees, it is just a little less tense than a square). It shocked you, as Uranus tends to do being the ruler of lightening and electricity. You were planning on quitting, but they got to you first. That sucks, but then maybe you can get unemployment if you need it.

The 3rd event is that transiting Saturn just recently past squaring your Jupiter which is the ruler of your 10th house of career, suggesting that you were really feeling the pressures of wanting to leave that place and that pressure is easing somewhat. It's also suggestive of the politics going on and either you wanting to make a point to these people, or them wanting to make some kind of point to you.

I'm trying to figure out where all the confusion and lack of clarity comes in. That is usually Neptune's domain. Neptune is retrograde in your 12th house right now. The only thing I can think of is that transiting Neptune is semi-square your Mars, the planet of action. That is a tense aspect suggesting confusion and deception about actions.

Good luck to you with a new job or whatever you choose to do, it looks like some very hard work is coming up for you soon.

Anyway, I was born in Rhodes, Greece, Oct. 31st 1979. I started working at that job, on Oct 2 2006, 9 am, in Larnaca, Cyprus. I was fired on February the 15th 2007, around 16:30 pm. Saturn was going through my 1st house and conjuncted my natal Mars in Leo 20 degrees. Saturn is my 6th house ruler, since it's in Capricorn, and transit Mars was in the 6th house, in conjunction with the Moon. The reason I was given was that they weren't happy with my work. Apparently I didn't show enough zeal about the job. Which is true. I was suppose to be a secretary, but I ended up making and bringing coffee all day long. Not exaggerating either. Still, the real reason I was laid off was that I wasn't a social butterfly. I was surrounded by people with a heavy emfasis on air signs. Aquarius, Libras and Geminis. I have nothing in Air. I felt like an alien in there, and I was treated as one. Anyway, it sucked. It made me feel really insecure and inadequate when it comes to work and even now that I've been working somewhere else, I often fear that it will all happen again.

But, on a possibly somewhat unrelated note, I see the transiting pluto is within orb (3 degrees according to the Magi) of transiting your Saturn Uranus conjuction, which also happens to be at the apex of a Yod which is finished out by your tight Sun/Jupiter sextile...

I know I probably shouldn't try to hijack this thread with that statement, BUT, I am curious as to what you think the effects are ? ( as seen in your own life at this time)

I was thinking earlier in the day about this post, and I remembered that natally saturn and your sun where inconjuct at birth (i'd forgotten about uranus and jupiter being involved)

And I thought that the transiting pluto over your Saturn/ sun inconjuction might mean some sort of personal (sun) loss (saturn) of power (pluto)...

Or maybe...since Pluto is transiting your chart, it my feel as though and outside power (transiting pluto) is feeding on your own personal sense of weakness (your own natal sun saturn inconjuction)

With your own uranus involved, I wonder if it wouldn't be a public (uranus) personal (sun) loss ( saturn) of power( transiting pluto),
It might also mean that the power, (since pluto was transiting),maybe the power your were seeking <transiting pluto> was denied
(saturn)...(blahbedy, blahbedy blah!!!

O>K...I'm gonna stop there...mostly cuz the above was me trying out one word Magi symbolisms to describe a possible trend in Seeing Stars life at the moment, Also, I would tend to believe that there would be more exact aspects that would conform more to the specific timing of this particular firing...

So far, all I see was that transiting jupiter was about 1 day from exactly paralleling his natal saturn at the time of his firing..(that excludes other quicker moving aspects of course)

BUT, I STILL would be quite reluctant to conclude that everytime transiting Jupiter parallels our natal saturns, we will lose our job..

So.. AGAIN.. I was wondering if you (Seeing Stars) remember the exact date of your first day of work at this particular job.

His birthtime is 10:12 am not pm, and there is a Mars opposition Saturn between him and his termination...he'll try to find out the day and time he started work.
