I have this question that I really have to ask now. I am learning astrology and of course the best way to do that is to 1) read a lot and 2) practice. So I'm trying to see and evaluate as many charts as I can. And so far I have seen sooo many of them with the following aspect configuration: one of the planets opposes a bunch of others, like Jupiter makes an opposition to Sun, Venus and Mercury, for example. Or Neptune is oposite Sun, Venus, Mercury and Saturn. I just don't have a clue how to interpret those.. PLEASE HELP! Anybody who knows..
I am not familiar with oppositions, I've read about them, but don't have any in my natal chart so it is hard for me to understand and identify with their energy.. ARE THEY AS NASTY AS SQUARES??
I have this book by Sue Tompkins (new one)and here is what she writes about lack of certain aspects in the chart (might be interesting for some of you, it IS for me):
"Charts without conjunctions - conjunctions add a degree of self-motivation so horoscopes without them may incline to a less driven, less goal-oriented and more flexible approach to life
Charts without oppositions - individuals will tend to be very subjective, often finding it difficult to look outside themselves for other people's opinions, approval, disapproval or feedback generally. There can be a resulting lack of awareness with regards to their own nature and the nature of others
Charts without squares - a lack of drive and 'oomph' is a possibility here, and a lack of squares can be descriptive of someone who is confined to taking the easier path through life.
Charts without trines - if there are a lot of squares particularly, a chart without trines will often describe someone who is at odds with the world and maybe at odds with themselves. It can be descriptive of people who overdo it: people with a lot of energy who like to overturn apple-carts. The person can be in the habit of always thinking that everything is going to be difficult and for them it sometimes is"
Hope this is a useful info. I didn't know what a lack of oopsitions meant before. I do now.
If anyone knows the answers to my question - I will greatly appreciate your feedback! Thanks
