So I was looking at me and my new man's composite,and all but 2 house cusps(5th & 11th/Cancer & Cap)) start at the 27th degree.The 5th and 11th start at the 26th degree.Is this normal when not using the equal house system?(I'm using placidus...)

yes it's normal.
The 26th degree is critical in the cardnal signs.
