Hey everyone! Just wondering if any of you have ever done a relationship chart. I don't mean a composite chart, I mean a sort of "natal chart" for the birth of a relationship, based on date, time and place of the first meeting.

I did one of these charts for my SO and me with what I think is a pretty interesting result. The chart angles and houses are almost exactly the same as our composite chart...same Taurus rising sign in almost the same degree. Also, moon in the 7th house, venus-saturn conjunction in the 5th house (don't know if that's good or bad), and a sun-mercury conjunction in the 3rd house (we met online and we talk ALOT...ha ha!)

Btw, because we met online, I put the "location" of where we met as a point about midway between us. (As close as I could get.)

So...anyone ever do one of these charts? What have you found? Honestly, it blew my mind when I first saw it! lol At first I thought it was just some sort of mathematical parallel, but the two charts are really using totally different data. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but it feels like maybe we were meant to meet at that moment???

Purple ~

Yes, I've done a few First Meeting charts..... Another helpful wrinkle in understanding relationship dynamics
The most interesting one had Jupiter and Karma conjunct on the Asc, Mars in 5th, Sun in 7th and Venus in 8th, plus Eros opp Psyche 1st & 7th There's also a Sun conj Venus opp Moon sq Neptune t-square.....
I definitely agree that it's a "meant to meet" kind of planetary/house/aspects setup in a few I've run.....

Thanks for responding, Zala. Forgive my ignorance, but when you say "Karma", are you talking about the Part of Fortune, or is it something else?

Was that relationship one of yours? I'm guessing it was a deep love, lots of fun and someone who truly "lit up your life"!

Sun - Capricorn (10th House)
Moon - Gemini (2nd House)
Mercury - Sagittarius (9th House)
Venus - Aquarius (11th House)
Mars - Aries (12th House)
ASC - Aries

Hi Purple!

I've looked into those that I actually had the dates for. Considering the first contact in case #1 for me was through writing...and the first meeting chart was so inundated with Mercury and aspects, I thought there must be something to it. The others I ran were also right on!

It's also interesting to compare natals to the event charts to see what each person's perceptions of it are. (The same way you'd compare a natal to a composite.) It may make it even more interesting!

Thanks for the input, 8th! I love that mercury influence you talked about. Got any other good stories?

I think I'll do that comparison to the natals...good idea! Now...where did I put those charts??? lol

Yes, it IS one of mine

Transits and Secondary Progressions to the first meeting chart are also interesting to look at.....

Hi all,

Zala,
have you ever done one using "first" time you've met if it's by phone?

Hi T80!! (**waves**)
Yes "meeting" on the phone or internet is still a Meeting.... if on the phone though, I would use the location of the caller as the "birthplace".....

PS ~ re: The chart I was talking about above -- I also had a Cinderella transit going at the time

Hey Zala...okay, thanks for that asteroid info. I'll have to check that out. Yeah, transits and a progression would be interesting. (Although, the relationship is fairly new, so I don't know how much different the progression would be.)

Hey Neptune...is that your meeting chart with an SO? Wow! Look at all that action in the 4-7 houses!

I cast a marriage chart (the birth of our marriage) as a natal chart using the date, time, and location of our wedding as the reference and it has been very revealing and very in tune so far. The natal positions and aspects of this marriage chart mirror our relationship and the transits have been very accurate.

Hi Tigerlily! Thanks for your input! I've heard of people planning their weddings based on the chart of the day...did you do that or was it more of an after-the-fact thing? What aspects do you have and what kinds of things have you seen be accurate?

OMG Zala! I checked out that asteroid Karma in my relationship chart and it's sitting right on the ascendant! It's pretty close to Mars, too.

ASC: 7 deg 47 minutes (in Taurus)
Karma: 7 deg 21 minutes (in Taurus)
Mars: 0 deg 56 minutes (in Taurus)

I don't know much about that asteroid, but I can guess somewhat from the name! Any info you can give would be appreciated!

Purple Chic,

I also met my bf online but i dont know what was the exact day and time of when we first started to talk - it was somewhere in the last 2 weeks of March 2006 hihihi

Magi talks about that - as being the relationship charts. If met online, and never met eye-to-eye,then its the chart of time-place-that started talking. Then,if met already, but ~still arent intimate lovers, its the chart of time-place-of the 1st Meeting eye-to-eye.
Then,if already intimate, its the time-place chart of when you became intimate with each other.
Then,if you are married, finally the love relationhsip chart is the one of the time-place of the wedding

It´s a pitty i dont remeber the dates for the 1st time talk - but i know the next 2 charts hihihi

The love relationship rulling now has:

-Venus conjuncting Saturn conj Psyche in the 7th house;
- Vertex COnj Mercury in the 7th house (Mercury being the ruller of my Sun Sign and NN;and being his Venus Ruler;
- Sun conjuncting Juno in the 8th house;
Mars also in the 8th house
- Moon in the 8th house but in Libra ( his sun sign)
- Jupiter in the 9th,conj MC
- Venus in trine with Valentine and Valentine trine with Saturn and Psyche also(0º)
- Kiron/ceres/uranus/pF in the 2st and Karma in the 12th,oposing Isis.

Transits

- T.Kiron trine Moon(0),trine OSIRIS and Kikunks Isis.

-T Karma conjuncted Sun,Juno and trine kARMA
-T. NN trine Eros

That day there was a kiron/jUNO Linkage hihih ( it fits )-also a sexual and a long-term Linkage

Comparing to the Composite:

-Sun/juno staied in same sign but into the 1st House, with Venus conjuncting it
-

In the chart of the 1St Meeting (overruled by the other chart) there was:

-NN/PF in the 7th house;
-Kiron/karma in the 5th house;
- Moon/Pluto/Valentine/Union in the 4th
-vx/ceres/uranus/Neptune in the 6th
- osiris in 8th;isis/venus in the 9th
-sun/merc in the 10th
-Saturn conj Juno/mars in the 11th
- Destiny in the 1st house

Venus trine Moon/karma/AC
Saturn trine PF
Pluto conjuncted Valentine
NN conjuncted PF and trine with Juno
VAlentine conj Union

Regarding Transits

T Sun trine VX/Ceres
T Moon conj Kiron
T Venus conj AC
T Saturn/Venus/Isis/Osiris were passing through the 1st house
T Moon/krion/neptune/uranus wwere passing rhfou the 5th

Overall it fits that the chart that overruled this one is much more romantic, affectionate and evolving: cause as time passes by the relationship also turns deeper and loveable

Hey Diandra! I met my SO online so when I did the relationship chart, I put the location as a point about half-way between. I played around with putting it at his location and then mine, and it didn't really change much. But, it'll be interesting to see what happens when we meet face to face and can do an "intimacy" chart! (Yeah, baby!!! lol)

I don't know a whole lot about Magi Astrology, but don't they consider linkages to be conjunctions, trines and quincunx's (except a saturn quincunx)?

We have a lot of linkages (18, not including the declinations!), so I won't include them all here...just the ones that seem to be the most significant/interesting (to me, anyways lol).

Conjunctions:

sun-mercury in Cancer in the 3rd house

venus-saturn in Leo in the 5th house (natally, venus is his moon ruler and the ruler of my descendant, saturn is my sun ruler and ruler of his mars)

juno-vertex in Libra in the 6th house

ceres-karma in Taurus in the 12th house

karma-ASC in Taurus (very tight conjunction)

eros-MC in Capricorn in the 10th house

trines:

mercury-NN
chiron-vertex
chiron-juno

quincunx:

venus-uranus (my venus is in Aquarius natally)
venus-eros
uranus-vertex
chiron-part of fortune
chiron-psyche

The relationship "birth" chart also has moon in scorpio in the 7th house.

For me, I think the most interesting aspect is the venus-saturn conjunction...hard to say if it's oppressing, or bonding...or both! lol (Also, it's conjunct juno in our composite.) I'd be interested to hear your take on it, since you have a similar aspect in your relationship chart.

The other interesting thing is, like I mentioned before, this relationship chart has almost the exact same chart angles as our composite chart. (Relationship ascendant at 7 deg 47 min Taurus and Composite ascendant at 10 deg 17 min Taurus.) So basically, all the planet positions fall in the same houses in both charts.

Any thoughts on that venus-saturn aspect, or any other in the chart, would be most welcome!

Hi all,

Which date you consider as the day of the first meeting (for the relationship chart being discussed) in a case like this:

1st time: when A started to get to know B, but had no interest in B yet, and B wasn't aware of A's presence at that time (let's say when they were in a crowd).

2nd time: when A and B first met each other and B started to know A, but still no interest in each other was developed between them yet (let's say when they both started to work in the same company).

3rd time: when one of them started to express his/her interest in the other.

Hi Iam! I think Diandra made an excellent point...that you can do different charts for significant stages of the relationship.

I would say only that the first one of your examples probably doesn't count...if one person didn't know the other existed, then there's no relationship. I mean, I don't have a relationship with every cute guy I notice in a crowd!

Actually, it might be kind of interesting to see any differences/changes in the charts representing when you were colleagues and then when there was a romantic spark.

Thanks, Purple_Chick_71.

Maybe you are right, charts for the beginning of different significant phases may speak different things about the relationship in that phase. I will notice this and see how it works.

PurpleChick,

Well, the saturn-venus conjunction is a sign of a very deep bond between 2 persons.
At the same time it is also somtimes an opression, but in the way that with the venus love, there is always there the Saturn, reminding us to take responsabilities and be very committed. Saturn stabilizes but also can restrict sometimes and there is where the opression can appear. This placement can also indicate that there might exist many problems and as time passes by the 2 must be very strong in order not to focus the relationship in only the problems that can arise.8 it is very true also)

IF IT is in the composite means that both people take the relationship very seriously and are very committed and willing to resolve their problems when they arise ( it is true)

PC71 ~

I was reading thru your list of aspects, and I wonder what your Chiron trine Juno orb is?? Magi loves Chiron linkages, and their interp for the Chiron/Venus linkage is a humdinger!!! Here’s Chiron/Juno:

[CHIRON TRINE JUNO]
Linkage: ROM/R= +190. SEX/R= +300. CMPT/R= +155. LIFETIME PARTNERSHIP LINKAGE. ULTIMATE LONG-TERM SEXUAL LINKAGE. CHIRON LINKAGE. Normally, a linkage formed with Juno results in a Juno Linkage and creates attraction based on some kind of dream that is just an illusion about your relationship and each other. In other words, a Juno Linkage casts a Juno Spell over you. Fortunately, sooner or later during good transits, the Juno Spell can be broken and you wake up from the spell; when you do, the attraction you felt fizzles out and you want out of the relationship.

But this linkage is not that way.

This is not a Juno Linkage but this is a Chiron Linkage because Chiron overpowers Juno's bewitching power. Like most Juno Linkages, this Chiron Linkage does create sexual attraction and need, but unlike Juno Linkages, the attraction and need last a lifetime. You will feel like you are under a Juno Spell but it is different because this linkage comes with romantic attraction that also lasts a lifetime. For both these reasons, this is the one of the most powerful linkages at creating lifelong relationships.

Like Juno Linkages, this linkage also fosters mutual dreams and mutual illusions - but in this case, they just about never die, and therefore help the two of you to stay together even in the worst of times.

If the two of you also have other Chiron Linkages, and you are both each other's type, or not too far from it, then you could fall in love and the chances are very high you will have a very long-term relationship.

Even if you are not each other's type, the romantic and sexual attraction and the dreams and illusions this linkage produces can help the two of you to overlook problems as well as each other's shortcomings, and therefore you may still end up in love. However, this is just one single Chiron Linkage and it is not all the two of you need and unless you also have a Romantic Super Linkage or great Grand Trines, your relationship will be just about always a challenge - because relationships founded on Juno are always a challenge.

Thanks for the great input everyone!

Iam - you're welcome! Let us know what you find out!

Diandra - thanks for the info. Just for clarification, the saturn-venus conjunction is in the relationship chart of when we first met (not the composite) Btw, it's in Leo in the 5th house. I would love for this to be a long-lasting bond, and it does feel like we have a sense of comittment to each other...but I can totally see how there is the tendancy to sometimes focus on the problems (the BIG one being we live so far from each other).

This doesn't show up in the composite, but there we have moon conjunct saturn in Taurus in the 1st house (which is square our sun, mercury, venus, mars, eros and NN stellium in Aquarius in the 11th house). All these saturn contacts sometimes worry me...that there will be a feeling of oppression, or maybe the relationship will never truly get off the ground. But, I have to say that so far, I have only felt the moon-saturn conjunction as a calming influence on our emotions. (Maybe it helps that we each have this aspect natally.) What do you think?

Azalaksh - thank YOU, also, you for that information! Again, I am referring to the relationship chart for when we met. The Chiron-Juno trine is a tight one...1 deg42 min. In the composite there are trines of chiron-juno, chiron-jupiter, chiron-neptune, chiron-psyche, but with relatively wide orbs (maybe too wide for Magi)...7 deg, 6 deg, 6 deg, 7 deg, respectively. But, there ARE some tight chiron-juno trines when I compare the natals to the relationship chart. In fact, his natal juno, my natal juno and the chiron of the relationship chart make a grand trine (with orbs of about 2 degrees or less)

Maybe I'm getting a little carried away...looking for connections that don't mean anything! lol What do you think? I do have to say that there is a definite feeling of NEED between us, esp. sexually. That word seems to come up alot...lol
