Hey there! It was mentioned in another thread (by Mustang, I believe) that Pluto will be entering Capricorn in early 2008. This made me sit up and take notice because, not only will it be transiting my natal sun-MC conjunction, but one of the more powerful aspects in the synastry between my SO and me will be affected. My sun is conjunct his mars in Capricorn (his 8th house and my 10th house on the MC), AND my mars is conjunct his sun in Aries (his 11th house and my ASC on the 12th house side). A double whammy synastry aspect, with the pluto transit forming conjunctions and squares AT THE SAME TIME, Aries and mars involved, as well as the 8th house...yadda, yadda, yadda...

Okay, so the reason I posted this is to say at first I was thinking "Oh no!". But, the beauty of astrology is seeing this stuff coming and figuring out how to deal with it. So, I checked out some info about the pluto transits, and now I'm actually kinda psyched! I think it could be VERY difficult, but also VERY positive. So, I guess we'll see what happens.

Here are some of the links I checked out.

I would love to hear from anyone with some insights on pluto transits, especially your personal experiences with them, how you handled them, and what Pluto left in its wake! Cheers!

It was me! I just can't wait until it leaves sag...

It will be in cap from the end of January until June, and then it will Rx back into sag again until late 2008 (Dec., I think).

It MAY be good. Pluto is intense, but that doesn't have to mean it should be feared. In the end, it's so well worth it. You grow A LOT! Pluto really does = Transformation. Whether it's good transformation or bad is up to you. Whatever you do...don't try to fight Pluto! (Advice I wish I'd known a looong time ago!)

Since it is going to hit your Sun and MC, I'd think you'd have changes in your deep and true self; your values, your core. The MC will be powerful. Your career will really be transformed in some way.

For some reason I get the feeling you'll get married (if you're not already) or maybe even have a baby...But that's just a random feeling...so don't hold me to it. Good luck!

Hey Mustang! Maybe I'll get married or have a baby? From your lips to God's ears!!! lol (Btw, you think it'll be me and my current SO??? ) Don't worry, I won't sue you if it doesn't happen! lol

So, why the rush to have Pluto leave Sag? Have you had a bad time of it? Yeah, I think you're definitely right about not fighting Pluto. I'm actually kind of weirdly excited to see what happens!

EDIT: Duh! I just saw your moon is in Sag...ouch! Was the pluto transit rough on you emotionally, then?

hey purple and mustang!

guys, my venus is 29 sag and let me tell you i have been one heck of a lusty girl lately, and a bit obesessive. well, the lust is more like this deep deep unquenchable need to understand myself in love and be with my partner (who is many miles away).. and it's still 3 degrees away! hallowe'en is when it becomes 2 degrees and christmas it will be exact (when he will next be able to visit!). yay!! i am excited, to be honest.

have either of you read jeff green's books on pluto? sooooo good.

anyway, the way i am feeling this transit that is only really just beginning (though it did get really close a couple of times this last year) is that i am awakening more into my sensual being, am not afraid to be a woman anymore, and it has made me *really* face my fears in love, such as jealousy, etc, which used to be a big problemo for me. but now i am really learning confidence and how to really express love. so i really do see it as positive, though the feeling of it is *very* intense and cannot be ignored. pluto is like: "change or have problems"; there seems to be no way to avoid changing.

purple, you should have a lot of interesting and amazing times with your boyfriend! buckle up!!

Hey Heart Cakes! Do you speak of your Cancerian man, by chance??? I'm glad to hear things are going so well! Sounds like a hot and spicy transit you've got going there!

Btw, I can't call him my boyfriend...yet! (If you remember the other thread where I talked about this, I was talking about personal experience, too! lol)

Thanks for the insight...it's so cool to hear about how people feel these things in their lives and to learn from someone who handled things so well.

hey purple,

yup, it is the cancer man. but i occasionally slip and call him partner or boyfriend by accident. better than the "cancer man" i suppose (i still remember when i told him, "aww, you have such a cancer face", now that was funny/awkward for a moment!).

and i don't know that i am handling things so well, cuz the intensity does really get to me!! luckily he is very patient with me and seems to enjoy my many (many) overtures, haha, which is nice. it just kinda sucks that i *won't* be seeing him for most of this transit. but i trust that there is a reason for this and that i am supposed to learn about love more by *not* being with him.. until the, uh, climax there when it goes exact at christmas! heheh.

did you see my reply on the other thread?

Hey Hearty McSexypants! What's wrong with making many, MANY overtures??? I'm sure your bf doesn't mind! lol But seriously, I'm impressed with your philosophical take on the separation, and I think you make an excellent point about it forcing you to evaluate the physical aspects of the relationship. I live FAR away from my guy, too...it's an internet thing and we haven't even met in person yet. (Yeah...one of those!) Just a thought here...do you have a lot of saturn contacts, too? Because I think they can sometimes represent hurdles to being together, as well. And, it sounds like something Old Man Saturn would do...force us to be patient! (The big louse!!! lol)

And yes, I read your post but I didn't respond because you said you had to leave. But...YES! I totally get what you were saying and agree wholeheartedly. In my past relationships, I think I was WAY too focused on my needs. I'm really not a selfish person...in fact, I gave and gave and gave in those relationships. But the problem was, I was assuming I knew what they wanted from me, when in reality it was really what I wanted from them! (If that makes any sense.) This time, I'm trying to stay in the moment and really understand where he's coming from. I don't know what will happen between us, but it feels sooooo much better to me than anything else before. Sorry, didn't mean to get all gooey! lol
