Hi Listens to Trees,

If you aren't yet, I'm guessing that you will be writing or speaking creatively. There's a big signature of publishing, internationalism/international diplomacy, higher education teaching. Is it social issues you are interested in? Relationships? There's a big focus on communications with you, but in the near future there is a suggestion that you might become quiet for a few days or a week or something like that, so don't try to judge your writing or communicating at this time.

Are you are writer of communicator? In your previous thread you mentioned joining a theatre group of some sort. I say go for it, but there really appears to be creative writing talent. That's my thought.

Be gentle with yourself and I want to say to you that everyone of us is ultimately courageous just in choosing to incarnate here in the earth school, so if you need to hibernate or coccoon or take to your bed for a while, it's not the end of the world.

Again, be gentle with yourself.

Hi Listens To Trees,

I'm no pro, but I thought the same as Geocosmic Valentine. (Which makes me really excited...maybe I'm learning something!)

I thought of a radio program/publication of some kind related to a cause you believe in or a strong interest.

Hi all,

I'm actually a hermit, a long sufferer of mood-swings, depression, social anxiety and isolation.

I have been through bullying (=truancy), religious disillusionment, extreme confusion over what career path to take, unable to stick to anything, was an activist for a short while, left that, planned to do other things, got pregnant....and now I'm a mum. I also fall for the wrong kind of man.

But as a little girl.....I dreamed of doing all sorts of things.....to bring healing into the world....to write, to sing, to create......but most of all to find a soul mate as I thrive in a loving relationship......

When I realized I'd never be a singer, something inside me just died.

Hi LTT!

I might be wrong, but having your Sun in the 5th, you might well be talented at singing or acting - why not join a theater group or an agency of some sort and see where it takes you?!

With that Scorpio Midheaven, I found a description that might indicate career directions.....

Scorpio Midheaven: Of all signs, this position most requires emotional involvement in the career. Money motivation just won't do. Needs career security. Typical career routes include the armed forces, police, detective or forensic science work, investigative journalism, mining, self employment, research of any kind, medical profession, funeral industry, psychotherapist.

You also have Uranus in the 10th so it's quite possible that you're extremely intelligent and perhaps shouldn't be tied down into a 9-5 job. I dunno - any of this ring a bell?!

I also thought acting might be something you could get into with your water planets connecting to your Mercury.

Healing also seems like an option with that 8th house energy, and Scorpio MC. Perhaps you should consider joining a church.

Those things sound good, but I would have to overcome my annoying Saturn square Mercury problems first/ anxiety, nerves, etc. I would need to build my confidence and self-esteem and over-come negative thought patterns.

AG, I did join a church, the Mormon church when I was 13- I won't get involved in an organized religion again. I would like to investigate the Spiritualist church perhaps.

I've always been drawn to unconventional groups, etc....however, with my 10nth house Uranus in Scorpio....I feel I can't pin myself down to any one of them. I'm always changing and evolving.
But that's also what makes it really tough.

Longing for a sense of belonging.

You and my girlfriend should get together. I think she often feels the same way.

ListentoTrees, I agree with medicine, have you checked out your local hospital? Check it out on career days and talk to people. Those careers are always changing with technology, and fit your Uranus in the 10th too because there is no 9-5. I have Uranus and Pluto in the 10th and need to work around people and be creative too.

I suggest looking into a medical career.

You would be an excellent acupuncturist or massage therapist.

If you are inclined to go into a field that is more traditional, look into sports therapy/physical rehabilitation.

However, I would recommend veterinary acupunture (a very booming field) or meditation instructor or something else along unconventional lines because I think you would get more personal growth plus more recognition. You could really use your creativity and that south-node intelligence to make breakthroughs in unconventional health & care fields.

I can see you teaching classes about holistic care, as well. Or being a television guest for call-in sessions about it. Remember that sometimes an audience is one person, so your Sun in the 5th and Node in Leo can be gratified on a smaller scale.

The nature of Uranus in the 10th is restless. Be grateful that it is in Scorpio as it makes regeneration much easier! I think this is a great part of your chart as it can allow you to attain spiritual liberation in this life.

Hey LTT (hope you don't mind the nick name)!

I don't know about this as a career choice, but I think it would fall under some of the ideas from your other thread. Now that I know you like to sing, how about volunteering to entertain at a nursing home or something?

Let me tell you, when I was a kid, I was in chorus in school and we went on a field trip at Christmas time to a nursing home. We went "door to door" singing Christmas carols. I was too young to fully appreciate it at the time, but looking back, I realize it was a truly kind and compassionate thing to do. Just thinking about it makes me feel good that I was involved.

I think something like that would maybe benefit you. Giving to others with your gift of music. The residents at a nursing home have so little to look forward to on a daily basis...wouldn't it be great to be that something that brightens their day? And, such an appreciative audience would help you with those nerves.

This is just a thought. Hey...it's making me think of doing something similar! It really was a great feeling.

I agree that writing and publishing fit here.
Perhaps you could write some childrens books including music parts?
Your children could participate by allowing you to pick thier brains for ideas and story lines exciting to thier age groups.

I would say 100% stay away from massage therapy as an option. [I do this myself] I can assure you that if you are experiencing any form of depression this will not be a good option. You see, you will regularly pick up other peoples energy as they too will receive yours.

Gardening in it's many forms would be a very benificial option as well! It could also be quite healing for you. Working in a nursery, natural food store, farmers market, ect.

Perhaps you could teach gardening, music, art, or poetry to children. Like a workshop offered out of your home?

You really do have so much to offer and I believe your self esteem would increase tremendously if you were in a position of self employment of sorts.

I posted this with you on my mind
7 steps to finding your vocation
I hope you find something of interest within it
