oh my god. did anyone else have MAJOR revelations after discovering the quincunx?

A professional astrologer since 1983, I always use the quincunx--otherwise called an inconjunct. The other inconjunct is the semi-sextile. Both are 12th Harmonic aspects. qunicunx is 5/12 and semi-sextile is 1/12

I also use the semi-square--45 degrees, the sesquiquadrate--135 degrees

The deciles--multiples of 36 degrees and the quintiles--72 degrees

together with the various 7ths and 9ths.

The quincunx is as major as a square or trine, IMO. A semi-sextile is a much more minor quincunx.

In my own case, I don't find the semi-sextiles to be "hard" aspects.....
Example?? Here's Venus semi-sextile Neptune from a Daily Transits report that I get:

Beauty finds a home in your eyes, your heart, your mind, your imagination during this period. It seems to enter your pores as if by osmosis. You find it everywhere, without even looking -- or at least without intending to look. It is as if you have donned those proverbial rose-colored glasses and are seeing the world in a new light. You are transported to a dream world of sorts; you are not likely to be existing now on the same mundane, drab plane that others are living on. You have a deeper need now for tenderness, harmony and kindness in your relationships and within yourself. You are also in the mood to reach out to others, to help them by extending your services and your nurturing care. This is a good time to make real use of these feelings by joining a charity organization or, on a smaller, more personal scale, spending time with someone whom you know could use a little bit of help in brightening their day.
