Jupiter is for Lovers

Everyone knows that Mars and Venus are the planets of love, and show how we interact in sex and romance. But the sign, house placement and aspects of Jupiter are important, too—they show us ways we tend to be lucky and have it easy in love. Jupiter also shows ways that we are generous with romantic partners, and the gifts we offer them.

Jupiter in the First House or in Aries
You have great personal magnetism. Attracting people tends to come easily to you. You are optimistic about your partner, like an astrological cheerleader, and he or she will feel supported and inspired by you.

Jupiter in the Second House or in Taurus
People, especially lovers, are just dying to buy you nice things and treat you to tasty dinners. It is satisfying and gratifying to give you presents.

Jupiter in the Third House or in Gemini
You communicate easily. Partners will love talking to you and have a tendency to truly listen to what you have to say. Lovers get excited and intrigued by your words.

Jupiter in the Fourth House or in Cancer
Your partner feels very nurtured and cared for, and you are naturally good at making people feel safe and protected.

Jupiter in the Fifth House or in Leo
Children adore you. Partners and lovers find you romantic, fun and generous. There is a happy, sunny quality to your relationships.

Jupiter in the Sixth House or in Virgo
You give your partners helpful advice and solutions to problems. Everyone who is involved with you benefits from the careful planning and attention you devote to the issues that are important to them.

Jupiter in the Seventh House or in Libra
You bring a sense of peace and fairness to romantic relationships. As a lover, you treat your partner as a complete equal.

Jupiter in the Eighth House or in Scorpio
You have a deep sexual intensity that lovers find irresistible. You also have a special knack for shaping, and benefiting from, your partner’s financial success.

Jupiter in the Ninth House or in Sagittarius
You thrill partners with philosophical and actual adventures. Life with you involves interesting travel, deep discussions and mutual learning.

Jupiter in the Tenth House or in Capricorn
You help your partner to work towards his or her long-term goals, building a strong foundation brick by brick. You also help him or her to overcome obstacles to success.

Jupiter in the Eleventh House or in Aquarius
You bring your partner into a social whirl, and exciting “scenes” form around your relationships. People tend to see you as friendly and likeable.

Jupiter in the Twelfth House or in Pisces
You have a strong psychic connection with your lovers and tend to have intense, vivid dreams about them. Your partnerships have a strong spiritual dimension.

Nice post, Lucia. Your descriptions rang true when I applied them to myself and my boyfriend.

Hope your Tuesday is going well!

My Jupiter is also conjunct Mercury (my DSC ruler) and sextile my Venus in Libra in the 7th house ... so yeah, there really is a lot of travel in my relationships, especially since my special someone lives in another country.

Yeah, GreenFairy, I should've added the disclaimer that challenging Jupiter aspects can dilute those "happy love" influences, or get rid of them entirely.

Especially, in my experience, anyone with Jupiter conjunct Saturn...but a Jupiter/Saturn square would do it. What's the sign and house placement of your Saturn?

OMIGOD I've Jup in the 2nd in virgo and both statements are true of me, I'm always the advice giver, the tear drier, the SENSIBLE ONE ( that can get frustrating), but people do seem to treat me, I've noticed it a lot lately and started to wonder why.

GreenFairy, would you say your communication style and/or experiences trying to communicate with others are at odds with your Jupiter?

I'm certainly not very social, i mean, i do have friends and go out, but i find it a bit hard making new ones and expand my already existing circle of friends.
My communication style ehmm.. sucks.
I guess i tend to create a wall when confronted with strangers, but if "you pass the test" or my instincts tell me there's nothing wrong with you, i am quite friendly and chatty.
But children do like me, they really really do.

This is very true, especially about the vivid dreams.

------------------
Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune
Scorpio Mars conj. Asc in First
8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus
Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?

So my Jupiter conjunct Saturn would just cancel the interpretations out? I was actually looking forward to the Jupiter in Gemini interpretations.
