How does venus affect you? I know that they say that venus is the planet of love. Is it only affected by what your venus is in or does your moon and sun play a part too? I know that they say scorpios are intense and emotional, but what if your moon is in aries then? IP: Logged |

I don't know think I would be cautious somewhat of this one... 1 Scorpio/Aries The combination of your Sun sign and your Moon sign produces a realist with little interest in generalizations or abstractions. Your focus is definite and highly personal. Ambition is strongly marked in your nature. You have little feeling for right, wrong, justice, philosophy, or other intangibles unless they touch you, or someone you are interested in, personality. You are extremely independent and highly impulsive. You know that you are personally a strong person, and you have little compassion or concern for those who are not. An understanding nature is not your special gift. A shrewd and hard-headed demeanor is more likely to describe your individuality. Your effervescent personality and good sense may keep you from clashing too often with associates and friends, but you are never one to run away from a fight, and when aroused, you are capable of voluble and forceful resentments. You are mentally quick, clever, and highly protective. An accurate critical mind can handle hard work and long scientific analysis. You are ardent and passionate in your relationships, but you're not an easy person with whom to share a relationship. You are demanding and exacting of others, but not necessarily willing to be imposed upon in return. Though your temperament is rash and forceful, you are admired by others for strong definite opinions that you never hesitate to put into practice. You are a fighter that attacks problems directly with little concern for tact and diplomacy. Nonetheless, you are the one people will call on when they want to get a difficult job done, as you will let little or nothing stand in the way of reaching your goals.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'll give it a go. Venus affects a lot more than love. It affects: How you experience beauty and your environment, it affects finances, friendship, etc. I think you;re an aries sun...what's your venus in? You can read interpretations for your venus sign. Also, the house it's placed in is very important. Do you have a chart you can post? A first house venus is much different from an 8th house venus(mine). The aspects to venus are important too. The moon affects love, because it rules the emotions. So, a combination of moon and venus will be important. So will mars, since that affects who and what you're attracted to. so what if the moon is in aries and venus in libra? (Scorpio sun) How different is someone that is an aries with moon in scorpio from a scorpio with moon in aries. I heard that this is a good combination. Mustang, mars is in cancer and I am an aries but I was wondering about a scorpio sun with moon in aries venus in libra and then the mars in cancer.IP: Logged |

Scorpio moon and aries moon are so very different. Not bad different, just different. Aries is more aggressive, fiery, etc., which would make a moon person more emotionally rash and fiery...maybe more self-centered...more aries like. (Depending on house and aspects, of course.) Moon in scorpio is more emotional, but in a sensitive way. More brooding, more good and bad aspects of the sign scorpio. It would depend again on house and aspects. Also, it depends on the individual AND the whole chart. I don't think you can sum up a person by three placements. You can speculate and see tendencies,, for sure. IP: Logged |

Mustang,'....So will mars, since that affects who and what you're attracted to...' I thought Venus was more about who and what we are attracted to and that mars shows how we go about getting what we are attracted to? I'm confused. IP: Logged |

I think venus is more HOW we love, while mars is who we are unconsciusly attracted to - venus is who we *think* we want, but mars is who we *really* want. This is just my opinion, so take with a grain of salt and a pinch of prejudice. IP: Logged |

I think that Venus is what we are attracted to and Mars it how we go about getting it.. And two Planets ruled by that fiesty Mars that interact is enough in itself..

Ok, so if one person is aries with moon in scorpio and the other person is scorpio with moon in aries, what is the difference? I have always heard that it is good when the others moon is in your sun.IP: Logged |

Well, my mars and venus are both in sag, so there is no conflict of instinct vs. thinking...probably why I treat my lovers like friends. IP: Logged |

Venus Aries/Mars Scorpio...Mars does not attract me much.I've only been in a few relationships with Scorps/Aries and we haven't meshed very well. Venus is close to my DC, which is also supposed to represent who you're attracted to. There's Aries again. I did marry an Aries, but, unfortunately we weren't very compatible either. Dunno about the majority, but in my case it doesn't seem to work. 8th IP: Logged |

It wouldn't be the sign of the person you want, but rather characteristics of the mars/venus signs. You'd like aries or scorpio types, if you're true to your venus/mars. Like, you'd like a deep intense partner(ship), a strong but silent type, a scorpio type person. Or: a confident, maybe cocky, somewhat daring man. An exciting relationship (aries) IP: Logged |

Scorpio Sun with Aries Moon, I'd think that this person is deep and intense, and also very self collected, yet his/her emotions might make him/her impulsive, childish and fiery.. He/she might find it hard to control all the intensity (of Aries' impulsiveness and fiery sides, and Scorpio intensity and trying to be self-controlled).. He/she can feel/see things in a strong and intense/extreme way. He/she can love someone deeply, yet it can make him/her lose control of his own emotions.. it can make him/her feel like a child in love, always acting impulsively coz of wanting to be with his/her loved one..I'm a double Aries, with my stellium in the 8th house, so I do feel a bit like a Scorpio sometimes (although not as strong as a true Scorpio).. ^_^; So I guess that the house where your Sun/Moon are can also be relevant. What do you mean by "lose control of his/her own emotions"? And are you saying that this person would love his/her loved one (partner) deeply? What about loyalty?IP: Logged |

Well said, Mustang I think we ought to note that for women, Mars can be the attributes/qualities we (think we) desire most in a man, whereas for men, Venus can be the attributes/qualities they (think they) desire most in a woman.....IP: Logged |
