Hi everyone! One of my best friends had a healthy baby boy this morning after a pretty easy delivery! Yaaaaaaay! So, I thought it would be fun to do his chart and see what this little bundle of joy might be like. I have a few first impressions, but I would love to hear what anyone else has to say. I'm sure my friend would be thrilled, as well. Also, she and her hubby haven't decided on a name, so maybe we can help them out! lol (Personally, I've always thought his name would be Matthew.)

Congrats! My sister is going to have her baby boy on Tuesday. Scorpio! I have heard that they are loyal and emotional. I also hear that they are protective. Is it her first child?

Hi Aries! Congrats and good luck to your sister. Is she having a caesarian or is that just the day she is due? This is my friend's second little boy.

Yes, Scorpios are very strong and loyal...and intense. I think this chart for my friend's baby shows that in spades. Pluto in the first house, as well! Wow! This kid is gonna be pretty strong-willed, I think! Lucky for him his parents (mom is a Taurus and dad is a Virgo) are two of the nicest, gentlest, most patient people you could ever meet!

hi purple chick! congratulations for the new soul in your life!

i dunno really how to interpret a chart without knowing the actual person for referrence, but i sense a lot of kindness and optimism. the venus at the MC seems like a very wonderful place for it, mars in cancer seems kind, and jupiter in the first conjunct pluto seems like a very gregarious position full of life affirming spirit!

Cool! Thanks you guys! I was thinking he looks like he'll be pretty intense, but I'm glad you're thinking he'll be fun, too! My friend thinks it's cool that I did his chart for him. Poor little guy still doesn't have a name, though! She and her husband don't think any of the names they came up with before fit him.

He looks like a kid with a lot of depth, but a total optimist and possessing a happy, spontaneous disposition. He's so fortunate to have the ruler of his 1st house in the 1st house - and at home in Sag! That indicates a very long life with very good health, and a lot of luck along his path. It would be best if he had some physical activity from a young age. I would recommend martial arts to help with Pluto in the 1st and Moon in the 12th.

His parents might keep an eye out when he starts elementary school to ensure he's being taught properly. I don't see learning disabilities, but he will have a unique learning style that should be encouraged. He's a Utopian idealist, so it will be hard for him to understand why the world is the way it is.... When he asks, "Why?" he won't be satisfied with "Because." There is a lot of idealism in this chart, so it's complimentary that his Sun is in the 11th house. That Sun along with the same-element Mars in the 7th will give him charisma and the ability to motivate others.

Spiritual grounding from the mother would be very beneficial. Having a pet would also be good for him (although that Saturn will balk at scooping up anything icky).

Overall, he's a friendly, idealistic, compassionate little guy - a welcome addition to our world! Congrats to your friend!

Two of the people I love dearly are Scorpio suns with Sag moons. One of them, the guy, also has Sag rising. They're both loyal, deep, curious, and so sweet. Overall, they're serious, introspective people, but they're both very funny and get the most beautiful sparkle in their eyes when they're in a playful mood. They rock. So hard. So if this new baby is like them, you have a wonderful person to get to know.

Astralmuse - Thank you sooo much for that chart interpretation. So great of you to do that! His mommy is gonna be thrilled to hear what you had to say! She was a school psychologist, so I think she'll be open to his having a different learning style.

Jane - thanks for that info! Your friends sound like special people. His mommy is a Taurus sun with a Sag moon (actually, their moons are conjunct), so that will be interesting to watch, as well!

I'm not particularly good at chart interpretations, but I had to respond b/c I love that Sun/Moon combo. If I were going to pick my future kid's signs, that's definitely one combo that would make the short list. I probably like it so much b/c I have a Sag sun & Sco asc.

That's great that their moons are conjunct! What a strong bond they'll likely have.

Hi Jane! You don't have to do a "chart interpretation" to make a meaningful contribution! I think it's VERY helpful to describe people with similar charts...it gives a great perspective! Everyone approaches these things in a different way, which was my reason for posting his chart...to get lots of ideas from varied points-of-view. So...again...thanks!

Just a note...I think I read somewhere that personal planets conjuncting in the 12th shows a past life connection...especially considering it's their moons! (I love family synastry.)
