I am sitting here right now in front of my laptop and I am dying my hair for the second time in a month. You'd think that my hair is absolutely fried from the amount of peroxide it's been exposed to in the past 6 years of my life, but the Gods have blessed me with amazingly strong hair. Iron hair, if you must. A lot of my Gemini friends have dyed their hair like crazy and I know this one Cancer girl who is about three weeks younger than me. She's dyed her faaaarr more times that I have and she has Gemini Moon/Gemini Venus. This one Aqua I'm not so good friends with dyed her hair purple three weeks ago and now she's dying it red. BUT- It's absolutely true for more gemini girls than I can shake a stick at!!! Hmmm? Is is a need for changability or a self esteem issue, or maybe it's the twin of them having a differing opinion on what color their hair should be! -LOL! haaaa......ahhh.......haa...aaah....haaaa... GeminiLover75 unregistered	posted November 12, 2007 01:12 AM I know a Gemini rising girl who's always changing her hair - first it was just the colour but now it's the style too. And she seems able to just morph so easily. Venus in Gemini for me and I changed my hair colour a lot when I was younger. For a while, it was every six weeks. Different shades of red, I put streaks in it of different colours, and dyed it black and put blue streaks in it at one point! lol. It got to the point I could do no more with it because the build-up of colour was so bad. So I went to a hairdresser who gradually stripped it all out and I ended up going blonde. Since then, which is about 10 years ago, I've pretty much stayed blonde. Although I do like to change it by having different shades put in, different colour underneath, different size foils... so I do continue to change it, but the difference is very subtle nowadays. Last year I decided to go dark again and unfortunately I had it done during a Pluto square Venus transit... yeah. It's finally fully recovered though, and since then although I'd love to be able to morph my hair as easily as my Gem rising friend, I've decided to settle down and go the Taurus sun route as far as my hair goes, and stick with what I know looks best. I use to bleach my hair and put all kinds of colors in it. Red, blue, Pink. Then when that stopped I would do Burgundy or Highlights. Now I'm in my late 20's I won't touch my hair. willowing3 unregistered	posted November 12, 2007 09:43 AM Gemini Moon here...I have always steadfastly refused to dye my hair, but I was blessed with a really fine head of hair (if I do say so myself, Aries Rising indeed:-). It's super thick, a really pretty golden blondy-red and it has always just done whatever I want it to do). I keep saying I'll lighten it as it darkens, but so far, it's stayed pretty light. Plus it has sheen, which I always thought the dye would ruin. OK, feeling a little vain now and mildly off point:-) But, not sure if one can classify the hair dying as a Gemini thing..... IP: Logged
NeptuneLove unregistered	posted November 12, 2007 09:54 AM No , it`s not an air signs thing !! ask the Leo rising ones I am Leo rising and i`ve tried all the colors possible. i usually dye my hair at one or two weeks ! i even did it twice a day. I have a very resistant hair, i bleached my hair once keeping the solution for two hours on my hair than five days later i did it again and everybody was surprised to notice my hair survived IP: Logged

taurus/gemini cusp Newflake Posts: From: Registered:	posted November 12, 2007 01:22 PM I can vouch for this - my mate Murphy (Aquarius Sun/Libra Moon), has had so many hair styles that if you don't see him for a couple of weeks then you'll have trouble recognising him when you eventually do catch up with him! I can't keep up!!! He had alopecia at age 14 and wound up being bullied quite badly for having no hair. Thankfully, it grew back and he's sure as hell decided to make the most of it!!! He's had spikes, skinheads, mohawks, curtains, mullets and a jesus ponytail! It's also been red, green, pink, black, bleach blond and more!!! It's good job he's into punk music, eh?! I think it always looks really cool! A Gemini friend of mine likes to shave patterns into his hair and my Libra cousin is a hairdresser. And as for me? Well I have an Aquarius moon and my hair's been every colour under the sun as well - I even shaved it all off when I was 17!!! I'm a Leo rising though, so I'm betting it's got a lot to do with that too - It's waist length at the mo - needs a cut!!! I reckon you're on to something with the Air signs/hair thing..... IP: Logged

For example i have libra asc so my chart ruler is venus and my venus is in gemini and the 9th house. And it probably isn't just air signs- although i still think strong gemini placements definitely give you a nudge towards having an hair dying fetish. I think a combination of fire and air in both asc and venus maybe even mars really makes one inclined to change styles. but maybe an earth or water asc would make someone who has alot of fire and air wary of chemically altering their hair... For example someone like SS may like changing their looks just for fun or whatever but a virgo asc would influence them to be a bit more natural with that change like curling their hair rather than chemically altering your whole head. Hmmm. More research shall be done. Thanks for the input and keep it coming! I can be onto something or am just completely insane. (taking about insane the dye didn't strip enough black from my hair so i have to do some more bleaching tonight lol pics will be up soon!) IP: Logged

tidalwave unregistered	posted November 12, 2007 11:52 PM haha how interesting! i'm cancer sun with gemini moon and i can't stop changing my hair. i even moved on to changing other people's hair! i love cutting/dyeing anyone's head i can get my hands on! i probably drastically change mine every couple of weeks...it's like an obsession. i think it's because i feel like i am constantly changing inwardly too, and i need a physical change to go with it, and well, hair is the easiest to change! maybe it's my moon twin! i'd love to have a pair of contacts in every color... :o) ------------------ cancer sun gemini moon cancer asc. I just watched the Wizard of Oz and my roommate swears that I have the same hair as Judy Garland in that movie! SO i love my hair and i have really loooonngggg pltinum blonde hair and my natural hair colour is brown.
