so i am just looking for some input and/or advice -

i was friends with a scorpio man for a while, we have a lot in common and we also both have obsessive-compulsive disorder which was initially the basis for our friendship. he is 45 and i am 24, we are both single and he has never been married.

When we first became friends, over time he would constantly say blatant things to me that indicated he wanted more than a friendship and i would acknowledge whatever he said and also indicate the same in subtle but simple ways.

Over the last few months we completely lost touch and he stopped calling - i didn't want to be pushy and if he didn't want to talk to me, i wasn't going to bother him.
This week, we met for the first time in months after he got in touch with me and again, he started constantly complementing me and the whole nine yards saying he trusts me and i am one of the few people he can talk to and actually enjoy talking to (and yes, he did say he was arrogant in that he does not associate with people who do not stimulate him intellectualy)

I am baffled by this behavior, my feelings for him have definitely died down since we lost touch because it was mostly him who choose not to contact me anymore and i accepted that for what it was.

I have no experience with scorpios and he continues to confuse me because his actions and words did not add up in the past.
this might have nothing do to with him being a scorpio (gemini moon, venus in leo btw) but if anyone has any insight i would appreciate it!
