** Your Starcast for November 22 to December 20 **

November 22: Sun enters Sagittarius

Get off the couch, get out of your neighborhood and spice up your life with this exciting transit that begins as the Sun enters Sagittarius on November 22! But be prepared for last-minute changes when, two days later, independent Uranus turns direct during a full Moon in Gemini. Expect the unexpected should be your motto with this one. On December 1, Mercury enters Sagittarius, and speaking the truth will be important. Just make sure you think twice before you do. Relationship-loving Venus enters Scorpio on December 5, and you'll want to make a deep soul connection. Then, the new Moon in Sagittarius on December 9 emphasizes the travel theme so prevalent throughout this solar period. Jupiter conjuncts Pluto on December 11 -- which only happens every 13 years -- right when you'll want to direct all the power of this duo. It's time to transform your world, so decide ahead of time what you want to do with this life-transforming energy. Finally, the last week of this period brings enormous shifts with the north node entering free-spirited Aquarius on December 18, followed by Jupiter's transit into achievement-oriented Capricorn. Saturn turns retrograde on December 19, starting a review that will take you into next year.

As the Sun travels though this nomadic fire sign, you're ready to jump out of your day-to-day routines and explore something different. Spread your wings and get an aerial view of life. Is there something that would spark your enthusiasm and give your existence greater meaning? With philosophical Sagittarius, you're free to ask the bigger questions and might just be surprised at the answers!

November 24: Uranus turns direct

When Uranus turned retrograde last June 23, you began a period of review, taking into account your desire for authenticity. Events demonstrated where you needed to make changes. Now, as this independent, maverick planet changes direction, the themes of freedom and change are once again highlighted, not only for you but the world at large as well. Move out of routines that don't represent you anymore. Surprising events can shake up your world. Just when you think you know what's going on, something happens to make sure you're paying attention!

November 24: Full Moon in Gemini

The emotional high tide is in -- and in a talkative sign! Full Moons are known for heightened feelings, and when in communicative Gemini, it's time to declare your emotions. Plenty of emails, phone calls and text messages mark this period. Yet, with Saturn squaring the full Moon, there is a censor in the midst. And Mercury, Gemini's ruler, squares Neptune, making for garbled communications or even deception. In the larger world, there's a lot of attention on what people say and believe. In your own world, make sure to carefully think through any messages before sending. Uranus is stationary during this full Moon, and that often indicates a surprising turn of events.

This full Moon will most affect those born November 22-26, February 20-23, May 22-25 and August 24-27.

November 26: Venus trines Neptune

Have you been thinking about signing up for an online dating service, or fantasizing about a getaway to rev-up your romantic life? Venus in relationship-oriented Libra forms a supportive trine to dreamy Neptune, the planet of spiritual love, making this a perfect time to invest in your significant others. Neptune loves atmosphere, so turn the lights down, put on your favorite music and create a memorable experience!

November 30: Sun squares Saturn

The Sun in Sagittarius is focused on travel and freedom. But in this square to Saturn -- which is in hardworking Virgo -- your responsibilities are highlighted. You have business to take care of, and this will restrict your freedom of movement. As frustrating as that may feel, this is an important aspect where you can step up to the plate and meet your obligations with a good attitude. Any over-reaching will get your hand smacked, so conserve your energy and make the most of this time.

December 1: Mercury enters Sagittarius

With Mercury in Sagittarius, there's a tendency to blurt out whatever's on one's mind. As amusing as it can be to watch others retracting what they said and apologizing for it, do yourself a favor and count to 10 before you speak. Otherwise you might find yourself in that spin cycle too. On the up side, this is a fabulous time to get your ideas out there. Your enthusiasm will be contagious.

December 2: Venus sextiles Jupiter

The good life beckons when Venus, the planet of pleasure, is stimulated by Jupiter, the planet of abundance. Although many astrological texts caution against overindulgence, the benefits of feeding your body, mind and spirit can be soul expanding -- and fun, too! So, make your food choice gourmet instead of fast-food, read for pleasure instead of work, and be kind to your spirit. Your heart yearns for delightful experiences. With Venus in social Libra, and Jupiter in travel-loving Sagittarius, get outside of your day-to-day environment and do something fabulous!

December 5: Venus enters Scorpio

Looking for you soul mate? As Venus, the relationship planet, heads into the most passionate sign of the zodiac, nothing less than profound will satisfy you. Casual conversations won't interest you, neither will people with commitment issues. If you're single, you are more likely to meet someone if you engage in an activity that you enjoy. Married or in a serious relationship? Choose a cause in which you both feel strongly, and find out what the power of two can do!

December 7: Sun square Uranus

When the Sun in nomadic Sagittarius encounters independent Uranus in this challenging square aspect, it's time to step out of your comfort zone. Although your beliefs may have held you in good stead up to now, you need to make important changes to improve your journey. Don't resist any messages you receive. This aspect will still be around in the approaching new Moon chart, which means that you'll experience this theme throughout the month.

December 9: New Moon in Sagittarius

The lunar cycle has a natural progression from the new Moon to the first quarter Moon to the full Moon, when the Moon is increasing in light. Then we have the second quarter Moon and then it goes back to the new Moon. This takes a little over 29 days. It's good to keep this in mind when the Moon is new, since a new Moon is always a time of beginnings. Institute something that you want to grow or to become stronger. At the next full Moon, which will occur on December 23, you'll have the opportunity to stand back and assess how far you've come. By the time this year closes, you'll have a great sense about what you want to bring into the new year. In Sagittarius, you're ready to spread your wings and travel outside your own neighborhood. There is a big wide world out there -- and it's time to explore it!

This new Moon will most affect those born December 7-11, March 6-10, June 6-10 and September 8-12.

December 11: Jupiter conjunct Pluto

About once every 13 years, expansive Jupiter conjuncts transformative Pluto, and because this event occurs in Sagittarius this time around, it's time to open your world. You won't want to play it safe -- the sky's the limit! There is extraordinary power in this conjunction, and you will feel every bit of it. What do you want to accomplish? Do you want a relationship or a new job? Perhaps you feel moved to make a contribution to world peace or to help the planet. Don't waste this time. Choose something. Do something. May the force be with you!

December 11: Venus trine Mars

Your relationships benefit as Venus, the planet of love, and Mars, the planet of desire, form a harmonious aspect. Make reservations at your favorite restaurant for a romantic evening. Don't have a mate right now? Since Mars is retrograde, contact somebody from your past. Google an old flame, pick up the phone or send an email. You won't want to be alone now.

December 11: Sun sextile Neptune

When the Sun in enthusiastic Sagittarius connects with idealistic Neptune in humanitarian Aquarius, you have everything you need to manifest the life of your dreams. In this season of charitable giving, include someone else or an organization whose aims support your vision for a better world. What a great time to take some of the blessings life has bestowed upon you, and pass them forward!

December 18: North Node enters Aquarius

The north node/south node axis represents respectively the future and the past. The north node points to the direction that can bring fulfillment and a greater sense of purpose, while the south node represents a collective past that, while yielding helpful information, should not hold too much of your attention. Aquarius is all about group energy, while Leo inspires creativity and leadership. Simply put, teamwork moves you forward, and being to self-focused holds you back.

December 18: Jupiter enters Capricorn

With the entrance into Capricorn, social Jupiter joins serious Saturn in Virgo. This marks a major shift in orientation for countries -- and for you personally. Enough with all of the excitable air-fire orientation of the last year! Put away your passport, park your car in the garage and turn your attention to what you want to achieve. Pay attention to those areas of your life that you want to build. Hard work pays off and you may even come to someone's attention -- perhaps a benefactor who will help you. Once Pluto joins Jupiter in this sign in January 2008, your desire to achieve something worthwhile intensifies. The keywords are 'self-sufficiency' and 'maturity.' Finally -- a grownup in the house!

December 19: Saturn turns retrograde

How can you support yourself more effectively? Saturn, the builder, turns retrograde for the first time since entering Virgo last September 2, initiating a period of review. You've had a chance to put into practice Saturn in Virgo's requirements of hard work and becoming more efficient. Your responsibilities to yourself and others -- particularly as they concerned your work and your health -- have been important areas of focus. This review period will last until May 2, 2008 when Saturn turns direct. Until then, analyze and make necessary changes, as you create a solid foundation for the year ahead.

December 20: Mercury enters Capricorn

Three times a year when the communication planet Mercury transits through earth signs, we are given the opportunity to think sensibly. In Capricorn, the keyword is 'pragmatic.' Setting goals and implementing commonsense changes are the focus now. What do you want to achieve, how will you communicate your desires and with whom will you talk about them? Your career goals can get a boost as you turn your thinking to advancing yourself in this area.

Enjoy the Sun's transit in Sagittarius!

** Astrolesson: Jupiter Transits **

Jupiter -- Sagittarius' ruling planet -- spends one year in each sign, and therefore takes 12 years to transit through all 12 signs. Since Jupiter is one of the social planets, (the other is Saturn), the sign that Jupiter transits through has something to say about how you want to step out of your personal life and into the world at large. November 23, 2006 marked Jupiter's entrance Sagittarius, the sign of the explorer, when it was time to get your travel gear dusted off. For the last year, you've probably been yearning for an adventure, and your need for independence has been strong. Hopefully you've paid attention to those urges. Did you take that vacation you've been dreaming about, or enroll in those classes to broaden your knowledge? When Jupiter forms an aspect to outer planets, the social trend symbolized by Jupiter connects with the collective energy of the outer planet. For example, Jupiter conjuncts Pluto on December 11, bringing the principles of expansion (Jupiter) together with the intensity of Pluto. This is powerful energy and extremely political. Watch for new social policies with this one. Keep an eye on this so you can see how social and collective planets together can set new social trends. Because this also happens in your own chart, look to the house where this conjunction takes place so that you can use this dynamic energy to set a new trend for yourself. By December 18, Jupiter enters serious Capricorn, which will institute a brand new trend.

Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone!!
Ever wondered why we stuff ourselves on T-Day?? Thursday is Jupiter's Day ("expansion", anyone?? )

The Cosmic Calendar daily blurbs are from Mark Lerner.

Cosmic Calendar, Thursday November 22nd ~

Make sure you wake up on the right side of the bed this morning. A Mercury-Neptune parallel (3:34AM PST) - similar to a conjunction in the zodiac - can coincide with foggy conditions in the psychic atmosphere. On the other hand, your dreams can be vivid and possibly offer you hints about the future. On a more practical level, the Moon enters Taurus at 4:20AM PST after a brief void lunar cycle that begins at 12:40AM PST. The Moon in Taurus encourages you to review your approaches to spending and saving. Shortly after Taurus Moon takes hold, Mercury forms a supportive, 60-degree link to Vesta (4:48AM PST). Take your business endeavors and investment strategies more seriously. The big news of the day is the Sun entering Sagittarius (8:51AM PST). Focus more attention on your educational goals, athletic interests, and future travel plans. Consider signing up for a workshop, conference or seminar. The realms of publishing and journalism are highlighted over the next four weeks. For the first time since last Sunday, Venus forms a harmonious alignment - this evening's 72-degree link to Pluto (7:46PM PST). Love vibrations increase in frequency and business prospects appear more favorable. However, the bloom may be off the rose as early as tomorrow afternoon due to a pending Venus-Vesta square from Libra to Capricorn. Hunker down with a wise counselor, broker or mentor between today and tomorrow in order to reinforce your financial security. Start preparing for Saturday morning's Uranus turnaround and potent Full Moon.

Cosmic Calendar, Friday (Venus day) November 23rd ~

Your productivity can soar in the early hours in concert with the monthly Moon-Ceres union in Taurus (1:59AM PST). Reconnect to the beauty and magic of Mother Nature. Really commune with the earth, trees and sky. You may want to accomplish your key tasks and important errands before the Moon squares Neptune at 10:54AM PST. The reason is that this lunar clash with dreamy Neptune begins a long void lunar cycle - lasting until 3:30AM PST on Saturday morning. It's much better to finish old business during a void Moon time-period than to try and push your agenda onto unreceptive friends, colleagues or family members. The main challenge of the day occurs at 4:24PM PST when Venus in Libra squares Vesta in Capricorn. Fooling around with hard-earned savings is asking for trouble. Study more about national and global economic trends before losing your shirt in unwise investments. Learn the ins and outs of savvy stock, bond and commodities trading. If you are feeling ill-at-ease, nervous and stressed out, chalk it up to tomorrow morning's Uranus station and shift into direct motion (2:16AM PST on Saturday). Since tomorrow morning also brings with it a powerful Full Moon from Sagittarius to Gemini, you need to be all eyes and ears throughout this evening and into the early hours of Saturday. An evening meditation or period of contemplation opens the gates of inspiration and higher knowledge.

Oh, thanks Zala!

I'm excited for the full moon in Gemini, even though it has some rough edges. My Gemini moon is already chatting away every chance I get!

Cosmic Calendar, Saturnday November 24th ~

Shocks and surprises are suddenly the rule rather than the exception. Uranus at 15 degrees Pisces ends its five-month retrograde cycle at 2:16AM PST and begins direct motion until June 26, 2008 when it will once again stop at 23 degrees of Pisces. All Uranus themes - revolution and radical change, eccentricity and improvisation, lightning-like flashes and genius, shock waves, topsy-turvy conditions, aviation, the multi-media, computers and high technology, astrology and occult science, electricity, the nervous system, instability and uncertainty, rebellion, radioactivity and Uranium - are activated today and over the next couple of days. Your best bet is to expect the unexpected throughout the day. Be aware that the Moon enters Gemini (3:30AM PST) after a long void lunar cycle. The lunar entry into the third sign of the zodiac is followed by a Full Moon (6:31AM PST) that energizes 2 degrees of Sagittarius and Gemini. This is the climax of the monthly solar-lunar cycle and represents a unique opportunity to receive divine illumination. Meditate for peace of mind and send out your healing thoughts to humanity in need of upliftment. Think more about your higher destiny on Planet Earth than fulfilling personal needs. Brace yourself for a time-period of potential chaos and confusion since a Sun-Vesta frictional 45-degree link (9:47AM PST) occurs only 4 minutes before Mercury in Scorpio squares Neptune in Aquarius (9:51AM PST). Ouch! These two testy alignments can send you to the back of the class if you jump to conclusions without all the facts. Realize that your judgment could be faulty and it may be helpful to back off from financial commitments that will strain your budget. Reading, writing and research are promoted this evening when Mercury makes a mentally-stimulating 72-degree tie to Saturn (7:11PM PST) while the Sun squares Pallas (8:38PM PST).

Cosmic Calendar, Sunday November 25th ~

There's no need to fall into despair following yesterday's wild ride and exhilarating Full Moon experience. Frequent readers of the Cosmic Calendar will recall that the two days following the exact Full Moon should be times to distribute the inspirations just received at the monthly solar-lunar climax. Helping you send high-level communications to dear ones, friends and pen pals in far off lands is a Mercury-Pluto parallel (11:45AM PST). Similar to a conjunction in the zodiac, this Mercury-Pluto affiliation allows you to tap into an extraordinary reservoir of knowledge and wisdom. You can also catch a wave of artistic and imaginative genius thanks to a grand triangle in air signs that develops while the Moon in Gemini trines Venus in Libra (8:52AM PST) and Neptune in Aquarius (10:09AM PST). You don't always have the chance to tap into the magic and power of one of these unique triangles of the zodiac, so roll up your sleeves and get cracking. Have a field day in art, music, poetry, drama, sculpture, literature, photography, film and spiritual studies. Avoid going overboard tonight since the Moon opposes Jupiter (6:52PM PST) and Pluto (11:39PM PST). These two planets are nearing their first conjunction in approximately 13 years on December 11. While that configuration can coincide with great gains on the business, financial, professional and educational fronts, it can also equate with over-optimism, greed and extravagance. Note that the Moon-Pluto polarity at 11:39PM begins a void lunar cycle that lasts until 3:08AM PST tomorrow morning and the arrival of Cancer Moon.

Cosmic Calendar, Moonday November 26th ~

This can be a great start to your workweek as the Moon leaves void status by entering Cancer (3:08AM PST) - the zodiacal sign it rules. Learn more about real-estate values in your neck of the woods. Study historical trends relating to business cycles, booms and recessions. The Moon in Cancer allows you to tap into the past and make a profit at the same time. Family and domestic themes are also prominent right now. Cooking, baking and cleaning campaigns receive the good seal of approval. Even before the Moon's entry into nurturing Cancer, Venus in Libra makes a flowing trine to its higher octave planet Neptune in Aquarius (1:56AM PST). While this key and harmonious alignment occurs very early, it can still give you an enormous boost in artistic, social and cultural areas of interest throughout the day. The Venus-Neptune rapport is also a welcome signal that romance and business look promising. A wave of nostalgia continues into the evening. Film and literary classics are highlighted. Be super-sensitive to dear ones under pressure as the Moon makes its monthly union with the red planet Mars (9:54PM PST). Projecting anger onto relatives is completely off-base. Watch out for the tendency to act impulsively without careful forethought. Slow down your tempo across the board as this martial, inflammatory trend continues over the next two days as Mars forms tense sky patterns with Chiron on Tuesday and Mercury on Wednesday. A mineral bath, hot-tub session or whirlpool treatment can soothe your nerves tonight.

Weekly Weather Forecast, November 26 – December 2
by Anne Ortelee

And a lovely week blooms and beckons to us! The holiday season is upon us! Lights, tinsel, presents, carols, cookies, Santa and snow. It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! With the kids jingle belling and everyone telling you "Be of good cheer". It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! It's the hap-happiest season of all! With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings when friends come to call. It's the hap - happiest season of all! There'll be parties for hosting. Marshmallows for toasting and caroling out in the snow. There'll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago. It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! There'll be much mistletoeing and hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near. It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! It's The Most Wonderful Time! It's The Most Wonderful Time! It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

And now that you’ll have THAT song playing in your head all day long (hee-hee), let’s talk about the cosmic week ahead! Uranus is moving forward, starting the movie of your life back up again. Uranus is bringing up last March for you to remember. Uranus is rustling up your feelings from back then to remind you of your dreams, especially the dreams which have been postponed, delayed or held up. Remember back to March? Remember when the Sun in Pisces and Moon in Virgo danced with Uranus and the nodes of destiny? That eclipse at 13 mutable waking all of them up? Uranus was joined to the North Node of your dreams, path and future direction as the Sun lit the way forward in a flash of brilliance. Back then your path or way might not have been as clear as your vision is now ~ you‘ve been working hard since then. Or perhaps your vision WAS clearer then? And since Uranus has been moving backwards starting in June, well, your vision has faded and become less clear, a bit more cloudy, or perhaps further from your reach? Think back to March. Compare it to now. What has changed? Where are you? Where are your dreams?

Since March, the nodes have steadily moved backwards, through Pisces, the path of our vision, soul, numinous links and profound connectedness and Virgo defining how we can actually DO what we think we want to do. Virgo asks us how the heck do we plan to get it all together and actually KEEP it together? It seems, at times, like you are trying to juggle howling cats! Last week’s full Moon lit up the Virgo/ Pisces nodes again as Uranus stationed to go direct. On the full Moon, the Sun was in happy, content and changeable fire while Moon in Gemini found it hard to articulate his profound feelings and get them into words.

What did you see under the full Moon and over the long holiday weekend? You’ve perhaps learned that the dream of yours from last March might take a bit more work to create and form in the world? It will. It always does. It takes time to make those profound dreams of ours into realities in our lives. We don’t have that things-take-time perspective supported very much in our culture. It all seems “instant” and “immediate” or we don’t want to wait.

Well, you can’t have 9 women pregnant for one month to make a baby. You have to have one woman pregnant for 9 months. You are about to get pregnant! I am here to tell you that whatever you figured out isn’t going to come into form until next summer (at the bare minimum) when Saturn gets back to the degree of the lunation of this full Moon.

I can almost hear you moaning. NEXT JULY!!! (Actually your due date is August 2nd but who is counting?) Yep. Saturn is about to stop in the sky. He’s going to go backwards to 1:41 Virgo. He is going back to where he was on September 16th until May 2, 2008. Saturn’s not going to get back to where he is in the heavens right now until then next July. So essentially, you have a giant, Saturn kind of cosmic do-over coming your way. A cosmic pregnancy. Nine long months. Might as well be patient. Might as well get to work on your stuff (focus on your important stuff). Have a great holiday month. Plan your next 13 years ~ you know that vision thing you’ve been feeling ~ sit down and think about what you actually would like to create in your world. You are officially about to get pregnant with your next life. It is now time to get to work integrating and settling into all the changes a-coming in your life with this new part of you getting birthed.

The cycle that started in December 1994 at 28 Scorpio is finishing up over the next few weeks. A new cycle is starting, in your 28th degree of Sagittarius, as Jupiter the planet of abundance, community, and expansion merges with Pluto the planet of profound transformation, riches and evolution. The two of them, Jupiter and Pluto, are meeting on the center of the Universe, the Galactic Center. How cool is that? Yes, it is definitely a vision thing! Take time this week to focus on your vision of the next 13 years of your life. What would you like to have in your world? No, it doesn’t have to be locked in stone but an idea, a vision, an inspiration, a goal to shoot for or a quest for your soul, spirit and being to hold in your heart, hand and head. Give yourself time to dream. Maybe even write down the dreams you are already having? They are talking to you.

Monday Venus has a trine of joy, peace and dreams to Neptune. Moon in Cancer has a working aspect to Saturn suggesting you focus on the how to of how to. If you have a plan, it is easy. You know this. Dream big!

Tuesday is a RATHER large bit of squabbly, squawky, horn honking kind of energy as both Mars and Pluto have sesquiquadrate aspects to the partnership and creation asteroids. Sesquiquadrates are energetically what they sound like. If you say it slowly and clearly, you get, hear and understand all the syllables ~ ses-qui-quad-rate. If you try to say it fast, it is a jumble of sound ~sesqui&^%&^rat. It sounded like “ses-q*&^*wer rat” to me when I first heard people rolling it off their tongues rapidly ~ sewer rat with a middle name ~ what a lovely concept! And THAT is what the energy feels like too. Go too fast and it gets all bollixed up. Do it slowly and deliberately and Voila you get all sorts of stuff finished and accomplished. It is a square with stress. Or stress with a square. You can get stuff done but wow, it is a process. Nothing is easy. Mars has a very angry aspect with Chiron so expect folks who you think of as nice and kind to sort of lose it today! Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. That is the best thing to do. Adjust. And, whatever you do, please don’t take it personally. You happened to be in their way when they weren‘t feeling nice and kind.

Wednesday we are all a bit happier with Moon in Leo and the day has reasonably pleasant aspects. You can be a bit blindsided if you aren’t careful. It is one of those days where you tell the story from yesterday and the person listening to it makes a snarky comment back at you. Mercury in Scorpio you know. Mercury in Scorpio in a Ses-qui-quad-rate aspect to cranky Mars in Cancer. Laugh. Be jolly. Let that Leo Moon roar with laughter at the snarky remark. Life is too short to let anyone get you down.

Thursday Mercury joins with Juno. We partner with an interesting level of intensity today. I like days like this as I tend to get a lot accomplished. Take a moment to clear up the clutter around you so you can get ever more done. While you are clearing or cleaning, Sun has an aspect of brilliance to Neptune. Yes! It is a FAB-U-LOUS idea!! Put it in your vision book and on your to-do list. Venus has a Ses-qui-quad-rate aspect to Saturn. Venus is on the world axis and looking to have a bit of a fight with Saturn ~ smile sweetly and move along. Stress with a square. Square with stress. Mercury is in his last degrees of Scorpio so the desire to take a cheap shot back will be enormous! What is the point? Why even play with them? Walk away.

Friday Sun squares Saturn. Have you ever noticed when someone is irritated with you but you are laughing and having a grand old time, that it makes them even MORE irritated with you? Mercury has a 12th house aspect to Pluto as well as an aspect of brilliance with Chiron. If someone is irritated with you (or you are irritated with them) this is one of those days where it can escalate quickly. So walk away. My mother always managed to tune me out when I was being a difficult and argumentative, ses-qui-quad-rate like teenager. She’d pick up the phone and call her friend Bernie, completely ignoring me and my Scorpio mood. And the two of them would laugh, giggle and carry on like a couple of happy fools. It drove me absolutely crazy. I wanted her to fight with me! So, I suggest you do the same today. Carry your iPod with good music on it. Or merely hum out loud. Or open your book and laugh, merrily, right out loud.

Saturn’s day Mercury leaves Scorpio and heads off into Sagittarius. Now Mercury doesn’t like being in Sadge as there is too much to do, learn, remember or keep track of so he loses things like his papers and keys. That said, the intensity and drama of Mercury in Scorpio officially ends today! Hip-hip-hooray. Moon in Virgo suggests you can get a great deal accomplished even if you forget your keys or lose your papers. Mercury ruled by Sagittarius has a tendency to overdo too! If you have 10 parties scheduled for today, make sure to add extra travel time or carry your cell phone. You are going to be delayed, late or get stuck in traffic.

Sunday Mercury has aspects to the nodes of destiny. Take note of those you meet today (or yesterday and tomorrow too) as they are important for the next part of your journey. Venus has lovely aspects with Jupiter and Ceres so seek out wise women and men for guidance, creativity and nurturing. Or be one yourself. Mars and Sun are in a bit of an argument aspect so our men folks (and our desire natures) are going to be a bit hot under the collar and need to adjust. Adjust. Adjust. The problem is the ruler of Men and action, Mars, is STILL retrograde, and STILL out of bounds and STILL in a sign he doesn‘t much like. At least Mars is not annoying the Moon any more! Mars is actually in a Finger of God most of this week with the Sun and Chiron so there is an element of fatedness to the events of the week, particularly if you have things at the degrees of 11 Cancer/ Capricorn. Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. It’s all part of the process of molding you into the next chapter of your life. Take good care of your self! Remember, it is the most wonderful time of the year!

Mundane: It occurred to me that in 1994 the internet wasn’t even a figment in most of our minds. Think of what has happened since 1994 as the digital world has exploded all around us. All the new words like website, dotcom, bloggers, cyberspace, world wide web. Amazon is about to launch a product called “kindle” which makes books portable, digital and deliverable over the networks we use with our cell phones. Newsweek compared “kindle” to the invention of the printing press by Gutenberg over 500 years ago. Books went from being hand copied to printed in mass. Now, with “kindle” libraries are in our hands.

And those big old nasty media corporations don’t want to pay our striking writers for their work distributed over the digital network? Will the big old nasty media corporations go the way of Church who didn’t want Gutenberg to print the bible as people might actually READ it? Revolution is upon us. Pluto in Capricorn beckons. Forward we go!

Cosmic Calendar, Tuesday (Mars day) November 27th ~

Just two days ago, the quickly-moving Moon helped to ignite a grand triangle in air signs that included Venus and Neptune. Golden opportunities began to manifest in the artistic, social and cultural spheres of life. Yesterday's Venus-Neptune trine reinforced the same potentials and made them even stronger. Now the scene shifts into the water element as the Moon in Cancer makes a flowing trine to Uranus in Pisces (3:27AM PST) and Mercury in Scorpio (8:24PM PST). Even though these two harmonious sky patterns are separated by around 17 hours, this is still an excellent day for soul-searching, psychological studies, and learning more about reincarnation, time travel, and the Ageless Wisdom teachings. Your main obstacle to forward progress is a feisty and antagonistic Mars-Chiron 150-degree link between Cancer and Aquarius (4:10PM PST). Hanging on to egocentric viewpoints will only exacerbate already tense situations with dear ones, friends or colleagues. Look into the merits of massage, shiatsu, acupuncture and other unusual forms of healing. Sports and exercise can help you cope with recent pressures and stressful conditions on the work front. Uncertainty reigns once the Moon-Mercury trine at 8:24PM PST begins a void lunar cycle lasting until 5:24AM PST tomorrow morning. Drop overnight decisions like a hot potato. Laugh away the blues by watching old comedy films or enjoying a video-fest with the gang. Gear up for another round of hard-to-decipher shenanigans in matters of the heart tomorrow when Venus and Uranus pull strings.

Cosmic Calendar, Wednesday (Mercury Day) November 28 ~

If you are feeling somewhat sluggish this morning, you can blame some of this inertia on the movement of the red planet. Mars has been doing backflips in Cancer for the past 13 days. Yesterday it made an awkward, 150-degree link to Chiron and now it's Mercury's turn to take it on the chin via an abrasive, 135-degree clash (4:53PM PST). With this alignment building in intensity for the entire morning and much of the afternoon, you want to be on your best behavior during business meetings and while conversing with friends or loved ones. Use words to heal - not hurt. Think before you speak. In the meantime, make sure you don't rush out of the starting gate in the early hours as last night's void lunar cycle in Cancer won't conclude until 5:24AM PST and the arrival of fiery Leo Moon. Once the clock strikes 5:24AM PST, you should come from the heart in vital sharings. Take a significant other to lunch or visit an art gallery. However, there may be a shock to the system around the time of an electrifying Venus-Uranus parallel (12:58PM PST). Similar to a conjunction in the zodiac, any Venus-Uranus merger like this can rock the kingdom of romance and zap couples who pride themselves on stability, openness and honesty. On the other hand, this planetary union has the potential to enrich love bonds if you value sensitivity, kindness and magnanimous gestures. This afternoon's Sun-Moon flowing trine in fire signs (4:38PM PST) amplifies the foregoing and has the capacity to neutralize any negative fallout stemming from the Mercury-Mars skirmish just 15 minutes later. Enjoy an evening of celebration, fun or card, board and word games under the joyful presence of Leo Moon.

Awww, BR ~
Thanks for your kindness
Wasn't feeling too well today after a battle of words with a friend, and your sentiment is much appreciated after the bad taste in my mouth of being sneered at and put down by someone I thought valued my friendship.....
Maybe I *don't* have all my marbles, and maybe my psoriasis *is* "icky and ugly" but jeez, does it have to be thrown in my face?? Never mind.....
Thanks for your generous thought

Zala your issue is being addressed on my "eye for an eye" thread in Universal codes.

People pointing out my physical shortcomings is very annoying. And no matter what age you are it still hurts your feelings. Why can't people jsut grow up and keep their rude comments to themselves?

Cosmic Calendar, Thursday November 29th ~

It's important to start your day with a positive attitude. There are two astrological reasons since Mercury conjuncts Juno in late Scorpio (4:00AM PST) while Venus makes a frictional, 45-degree link to Saturn (8:48AM PST). This is a one-two punch on emotional, romantic, business and professional levels that can either send you reeling or give you an enormous boost. Any Mercury-Juno encounter reminds you to be extra sensitive and receptive to dear ones on the skids. The Venus-Saturn encounter can coincide with a cold-shoulder treatment from colleagues or executive authorities. If you are more fortunate, it can equate with the hard work and determination necessary to reach a new career pinnacle. Experiment with a video or digital camera around the time of the monthly Moon-Neptune polarity from Leo to Aquarius (4:13PM PDT). This alignment can also be utilized for musical improvisation, trying out a new artistic medium or exploring new dance routines. Just a little over 2 hours later, Neptune makes a stronger alignment as it connects with the Sun in a mentally-stimulating 72-degree quintile rapport (6:34PM PST). Photography, film or video work, computer gaming and visualization exercises are prime-time activities under this solar contact with far-out Neptune. Meditation, yoga, tai chi, chanting and spiritual studies are back in style this evening. Love vibrations increase in wavelength toward the midnight hour and beyond as the Moon in Leo makes a supportive, 60-degree tie to Venus in Libra (exact at 12:27AM PST tomorrow).

Cosmic Calendar, Friday November 30th ~

You should have been making some good mileage on the business, romantic and career fronts over the last couple of days. However, now a huge test appears on the horizon when the Sun in Sagittarius squares Saturn in Virgo (12:24PM PST). Now before this happens, the Moon goes through a short void cycle from 9:26AM PST to 11:45AM PST - winding up in industrious Virgo at the latter time. This will eventually lead to another Saturnian event - the monthly lunar union with the famous ringed planet - early tomorrow morning. Thus, Saturn is clearly a principal player right now for earthlings trying to get a solid grip on reality and finding their niche in the world. While the traditional interpretation of Sun square to Saturn might include a chorus of worries, fears, limitations, frustrations and delays, this type of sky pattern can also coincide with advances in knowledge and wisdom across the board. Many of the great scientists, philosophers, historians, artists and writers have incarnated with seemingly tense relationships between the solar orb and the planet ruling time and karma. Remember that organization and efficiency are necessities while the Moon travels through earthy Virgo for the next 58 hours. Health, diet and nutrition are in the spotlight every month when the Moon is in Virgo. This is amplified tonight when Mercury makes a mentally-stimulating 72-degree link to Chiron (7:54PM PST). Learn more about the medicinal properties of herbs, alternative medicine, and unusual forms of holistic healing.

Cosmic Calendar, Saturday December 1st ~

Don't let December begin in crisis mode. Sometimes critical issues and situations develop around the time of quarter moon phases. Right now the Last Quarter Sun-Moon Phase strikes at 4:45AM PST (energizing 9 degrees of Sagittarius and Virgo). However, just before this occurs the Moon conjuncts Saturn in Virgo (3:28AM PST) while Mercury enters Sagittarius (4:22AM PST) until December 20. Therefore, all kinds of unexpected problems, snafus and complex events can coincide with this solar-lunar interaction. Another reason you need to be on your toes and prepared for anything is that Saturn is beginning to slow down in motion as it nears a retrograde station on December 19. Saturn remains at 9 degrees of Virgo for the entire month. Despite the challenges that can arise in the morning hours, hope and good fortune may also be present in abundance since the entry of Mercury into Sagittarius carries a note of optimism, exuberance and even euphoria. In addition, antique hunters can rejoice as they search back into the past to purchase objects of rising value. Visit a health-food store to stock up on cereals, grains, tea, seasonings, seeds, nuts and vitamins. Drop critical views of dear ones and see the good side in the people who help to turn your world around. Expect a couple of shocks, surprises or startling news coming out of left field while the Moon in Virgo makes its monthly opposition to Uranus in Pisces (4:06PM PST). This polarity can also point you toward developing new high-tech and computer skills. The evening can be either a hermit's paradise (under retreat-loving Virgo Moon) or a lover's dream-come-true experience since Venus approaches a supportive, 60-degree link to benevolent Jupiter (exact at 12:15AM PST tomorrow). Go for the gold!

Cosmic Calendar, Sunday December 2nd ~

As mentioned at the close of yesterday's Cosmic Calendar entry, a highly supportive Venus-Jupiter sextile of 60 degrees arrives on the scene very early (12:15AM PST). You don't always have access to the providential vibrations of Venus and Jupiter together in harmony, so take advantage of every opportunity coming your way. This sky pattern can still be influential for the remainder of the day although it will probably start dissipating somewhat by the evening hours. You can certainly make a splash in artistic, journalistic, literary, social and cultural circles while Venus and Jupiter hold court. Virgo Moon is still in effect and that can coincide with clean-up campaigns of the epic variety. Eliminate grime and grease from the kitchen, appliances, vehicles and the garage. Dust, mop, vacuum and polish until everything shines again. The key challenge arrives at 12:28PM PST when the Sun in Sagittarius forms an awkward, 150-degree link to Mars retrograding in Cancer. Acting in an arrogant or boastful manner will backfire with nasty results. Playing fast and loose with hard-earned savings is foolish. Keep your cool while other people are having problems controlling their temper. The more calm and tranquility you can create, the more you can handle any acute problems that suddenly arise. Slow your tempo this evening during a 3+ hour void lunar cycle that stretches from 6:13PM PST to 10:02PM PST (when the Moon shifts into airy Libra). You want to complete old business when the Moon is void and not launch bold projects. After the Moon enters Libra, focus more energy and effort on improving the quality of primary partnerships. This theme will remain prominent during the next two days.

Cosmic Calendar, Monday December 3rd ~

Easy does it! The first workday of December is a whirlwind of intensity. Giant Jupiter in Sagittarius makes an abrasive 45-degree link to Chiron in Aquarius (9:34AM PST). If you are feeling wounded and hurt - particularly on emotional and psychological levels - join the club. The object is to heal old pains from the past on a high note. Helping you do that are a Venus-Pluto supportive, 60-degree alignment (2:34PM PST) and this evening's Sun-Chiron 60-degree tie (7:33PM PST). These two sky patterns can certainly assist you in neutralizing the shadow side and fallout from this morning's Jupiter-Chiron clash. The Venus-Pluto rapport also gives romantic bonds a well-deserved boost. Nevertheless, the universe is still operating in a kind of staccato, uncertain manner since Mercury in Sagittarius squares Pallas in Pisces (2:41PM PST) while the Sun in Sagittarius makes an awkward, 150-degree link to Ceres in Taurus (10:28PM PST). The Mercury-Pallas liaison reminds you to be somewhat cautious while involved in business meetings and in vital communications. The Sun-Ceres association suggests improving your diet and becoming more aware of nutritional needs. Try to maintain your productivity in key crafts and hobbies despite the strong array of challenging aspects. You may gain some solace from a Sun-Moon 60-degree rapport tonight (9:25PM PST). The Moon continues its march through airy Libra - rekindling the need to improve the quality of primary partnerships.

Have a good week, everyone!!

Weekly Weather Forecast for December 3 – 9
By Anne Ortelee
quote:
So what to do in a week like this? Well dream big about what you’d like the next 13 years to look like while attending to the mundane hurly burly in your life! Jupiter is joining with Pluto next week to kick off a brand new cycle of expansion and transformation in the late degrees of Sagittarius. In the few years I’ve been writing this weekly column, this will be our first major conjunction of the outer planets marking the beginning of a brand new cycle together! (Take a moment for a brief and sentimental journey down memory lane of Weekly Weather reports!) I am SO excited about our new cycle that I can hardly stand it. The last starting cycle was May 2000, when Jupiter joined with Saturn at 22 Taurus. The cycles before that were when Jupiter joined with Neptune at 27 Cap in January 1997 and then with Uranus at 5 Aquarius in February 1997. These big cycles don’t come around much so being and bearing witness as one kicks off is so very cool!

One of the best parts of astrology, when used to its potential as a guide to living, is to maximize the positive and minimize the negative in our lives. Kind of like a magical make over, the planets, especially at their new beginnings of cycles ~ the conjunctions ~ mark pivotal moments in time when there is a chance or an opportunity to push forward towards what we want with conscious intent and an eye towards our future. When we work with cycles already in process (what we‘ve been doing since I started writing this column), we can adjust and tweak at things already in process. But that is the key, they are already in process. We can redress and tinker with them to our hearts content. But the crop was planted and it is in the process of blooming or growing. What you are doing NOW is finishing up the cycle that began in the December of 1994 and getting reading to start a brand new cycle next week. How cool is that!?

So, with that in mind, think about what sign your Ascendant, Sun and maybe even your Moon are in. Then, use the chart below to figure out which houses you are specifically going to be exploring and working with over the next 12 years. Think too about all the other areas you want to expand, using those houses as your base of operation. Remember Jupiter will go rolling around the entire zodiac before he meets back up with Pluto in 2020 in late Capricorn. This is Jupiter starting a 13 year journey with a union in his favorite, expansive, changeable and creative sign. Jupiter is joining with the powerful Pluto in charge of the hidden depths and wealth of the underworld ~ diamonds, and rubies and gold oh my! People with Jupiter/ Pluto aspects in their charts tend to have lots of wealth and abundance in the houses they are in charge of.

So take those planets, and let’s get started:

Sign ~Transformation House with Expansion Houses
Aries~ 8th house joining with 9th and 12th houses
Taurus~ 7th house joining with 8th and 11th houses
Gemini~6th house joining with 7th and 10th houses
Cancer ~ 5th house joining with 6th and 9th houses
Leo ~ 4th house joining with 5th and 8th houses
Virgo ~ 3rd house joining with 4th and 7th houses
Libra ~ 2nd house joining with 3rd and 6th houses
Scorpio ~ 1st house joining with 2nd and 5th houses
Sagittarius ~ 12th house joining with 1st and 4th houses
Capricorn ~ 11th house joining with 12th and 3rd houses
Aquarius ~ 10th house joining with 11th and 2nd houses
Pisces ~ 9th house joining with 10th and 1st houses

First, apply the process to the cycle you are finishing up, the one that started in 1994. For example, I am a Virgo Sun. In 1994, my language (3rd house) skills were transformed as I learned to speak astrology. My home (4th house) expanded as it became where I worked. My library grew enormously. I held classes and met with clients at home as my 7th house (clients, general public) expanded. My Ascendant is Aquarius ~ my career (10th) transformed from being a computer person to astrologer and I expanded in 11th house areas (astrology, internet, new age, community) as my 2nd house income flow changed from corporate paycheck to my own business. My Moon is Pisces~ my spiritual beliefs, dogmas and writing skills transformed as my career (10th) expanded to include teaching and writing and personal, individual (1st) emotional evolution. You can apply the cycle to every planet to see the next area of your life that Jupiter and Pluto are going to wake up.

If you want to get even a bit fancier, find where your Jupiter and Pluto are located in your chart. My Jupiter is in the 6th house ~ my work, daily routines, habits ~ while Pluto is in my 7th house ~ my face to face people, relations, and clients. That will further enhance or expand on the information the universe is giving to you.

Now, as nothing in your life ever goes to waste, Jupiter and Pluto come again to help you expand the cycle of your life. There is a new story starting in the house that holds Sagittarius ~ particularly the degrees of 28 Sagittarius. In 1994, the new story began in your Scorpio house. In 2020, the new story will begin in your Capricorn house. It is how we grow and evolve. If you want to go back further in time, in November 1981, the new story was in your Libra house. In October 1968, the new story was in your Virgo house. In June 1956, the new story was in your Leo house.

So please, please, please, take advantage of this time and use it wisely. Reflect on your life. Reflect on what has happened thus far to you in your current journey on Planet Earth. Think about what you want to bring into your life (expand and transform) over the next 13 years of your life. Think about what you’d like in each of your 12 houses ~ go through them systematically. Record it. Write it down. Make a binder and paste photos into sections divided by Houses. Get it organized (use that Saturn in Virgo and Mars in Cancer retrograde!) so the Universe and you can co-create your next life chapter.

Monday, Juno asks you what you want to partner with as she is in the last degrees of Scorpio and joining with the north node of destiny by parallel. Push a bit for what you want to go for. Juno is all about partnering as she defended herself against intruders to her home. Mercury has a square to Pallas so the plan might not work out as you thought it would. Adjust. All the cranky aspects say adjust. Venus sextiles Pluto giving her desire nature a bit of a push as Pluto kind of pulls her into her depths. She‘s willing to work for what she wants. It is about pushing the rock up the hill. Mercury has an aspect of brilliance with Mars about approaches to take to make the job of pushing the rock up the hill easier and more fun. Moon in Libra finds Venus gracious IF a bit impractical and impassioned. Sun has a working aspect with Chiron ~ illumination comes through working it out and figuring it out. Expect understanding. Call a friend and talk if you are not seeing the light. They will help.

Tuesday, Venus is not pleased with Juno’s partnering ideas. Let the girls work it out and go over to help Ceres with the food, nurturing and service energies. Sun has to adjust his approach. No spotlight on the flaws. Gentle illumination please. Sun in Sagittarius tends to put its foot in its mouth. Today even silence, non-committal grunting or smiling will get you in trouble. Mom Earth and the nurturing sides of all of us are feeling rather maxed out, unhappy, under-appreciated and overwhelmed with all that still needs to be done and no one to do it all. Take a moment to dream about the 13 year plan while folding the napkins or doing the dishes. In those quiet moments of silent work, dream your future.

Wednesday, a decent sized void moon starts the day off with a bit of stuff not flowing smoothly. Venus changes signs into Scorpio today, increasing her passion and pushing her energy up a notch. Venus doesn’t much like being in Scorpio as she is sharp tongued for the Goddess of love. The “b” rhymes with witch word will be much in vogue today. If they don’t call you one, you will call them one. Get the annoyance out of you and off into the ethers where it can go bother a cloud. Venus is crabby. Relations are frayed. Again silence, a grunt or a smile can get you into trouble as Venus is looking for an argument. Come up with a strategy for working with her excess energy, if you can. And the best strategy might be for you to go play piano for an hour or two while she stews! Or do something musical and evocative. Emotions are flowing.

Thursday, Mercury has an aspect of brilliance to Neptune as it sees a new approach to take on the home front. I told you to go play piano. Didn’t it help? Venus is finally back in a good mood of sorts. Mercury’s square to Saturn suggests you continue to keep your mouth closed. Whatever you say will be wrong. So listen. Venus is trying to figure out what she wants to do. She’s feeling pushed by Saturn to be perfect in every way and that is just not the way life works. There is no such thing as perfect. There is good. There is good enough. There is okay for now. There might be moments of perfect but that is such an unrealistic way in which to live. Venus is tired out by having to be so darned perfect all the time. Tell her she doesn’t have to be perfect any more.

Friday a loooonnnnnng void moon ~ all day in fact. Just as well as you woke up in the middle of the night last night unable to sleep as Uranus squared the Sun. Suddenly, it all kind of makes sense, doesn’t it? See. It was all part of the process. Mercury has a bit of a cranky aspect to Mars ~ again remember Mercury in Sagittarius tends to put his foot in his mouth. Mars in Cancer is cranky, out of bounds, in a sign he hates and moving backwards in the heavens. Why did you even try? Chiron wakes the nodes up as does Juno by joining with them by declination. We are composed of our wounds. Our wounds are what make us who we are. When we learn to ‘partner’ with our wounds and embrace them as our own, we find our life goes so much easier. Banishing the things we are afraid of doesn’t help the situation. Make a note to re-read Where the Wild Things Are and see how it applies to your life.

Saturn’s day finds Mercury in a much better mood after his adventurous week. Give yourself the gift of friends and laughter. Mars has a working aspect to Saturn so take time to organize and tackle a few outstanding tasks that have been asking you to attend to them. Juno enters Sagittarius, giving her a boost of positive energy and releasing a bit of her jealousy and over the top behavior this past week. Juno only seeks to preserve the order of the existing structure. But sometimes that structure isn’t working for anyone (or you) in the way it used to. You will be fine. And what IS your dream for the next 13 years of your life?

Sunday Sun has lovely aspects to think about your future as the new moon in Sagittarius square to Uranus gets you ready to move forward towards your future. Read the new moon report on this site for more information on how to deal with the new moon energy. Venus has lovely aspects to Pallas and even to Chiron. If you look at those wounds of yours as your gifts and redeploy them to serve you instead of carrying them around like a huge burden, it might be a whole lot easier. There is a quote I love by the artist Brian Andrews. The aspects today remind me of it. “This is a giant block of whatever is most difficult for you to carry & trust me on this, you'll carry it more times than you can count until you decide that's exactly what you want to do most & then it won't weigh a thing anymore”

Mundane: It’s your life ~ So what do you want to do in the mundane areas of your life for the next 13 years?

Cosmic Calendar, Tuesday December 4th ~

After yesterday's cosmic slugfest, the universe retreats into a much calmer state of reality. The only major alignment happening today is a square between Ceres in Taurus and Chiron in Aquarius (11:23AM PST). Sometimes a 90-degree alignment can be tweaked into giving a positive result. In this case, it wouldn't hurt to leave the rat race behind for a couple of hours spent in nature's splendor. Really commune with the earth, trees and sky for a change of pace. Reflect on recent gains and losses without getting down on yourself for past errors and poor judgment. Like yesterday's psychic atmosphere in connection with Chiron, you may find golden opportunities for healing old wounds. Learn more about advances on the cutting edge of alternative medicine and holistic health. Tap into your creative imagination during the afternoon hours - courtesy of a flowing trine of 120 degrees between the Moon in Libra and Neptune in Aquarius (1:24PM PST). This time-period - and for several hours before and after - can represent a chance to experiment with a digital or video camera, and improvise with a musical instrument or new dance routine. If romance seems a little up in the air and disjointed, there may be a celestial reason. Venus is at the end of Libra and makes a frictional 135-degree link to revolutionary Uranus in Pisces (exact at 1:54AM PST tomorrow). This type of sky pattern can either give you new dynamism in a love connection or jolt you with a shocking turn of events. Being a control-freak or ego-driven is not the answer. Meditating for peace of mind will help balance the scales of higher consciousness in your favor.

There's a lot of good info at that cafeastrology page!! Thanks NeptuneLove

Cosmic Calendar, Wednesday December 5th ~

Get set for some emotional fireworks today for two main reasons. Venus connects with Uranus via a tension-producing 135-degree link (1:54AM PST) and Venus then enters the passionate waters of Scorpio (5:30AM PST) until December 30. Anytime Venus makes contact with electrifying Uranus earthlings can experience shocks and surprises on the business and romantic fronts. In addition, social affairs and artistic expression can receive nerve-wracking jolts that seem to come out of nowhere. Venus entering Scorpio's power-zone can assist you in getting to the root of old problems or lingering frustrations related to a significant other and long-term relationship. However, the morning hours also bring a 3+ hour void lunar cycle into manifestation from 6:49AM PST until 10:32AM PST. You need to review and re-evaluate key plans and goals during this twilight zone. It's also wise to finish old business rather than initiate bold ventures. Once the clock strikes 10:32AM PST, the Moon enters Scorpio and quickly makes its monthly conjunction with Venus (11:05AM PST). Opportunities for growth and forward progress now spring up in a multitude of ways. Are you savvy and agile enough to find what you are looking for and reach for the brass ring? Success is within your grasp across the board and a Venus-Pallas parallel (12:15PM PST) increases your chances of breaking into the clear and running for glory. Wednesday December 5 - Moon in Libra

Today the Moon goes over the point where Venus was when she made a
harmonious link to Jupiter a few days ago. If you've been feelings
down on your love or money luck, the Moon's passage through Libra
today could help trigger some Good Stuff for you – so be it!

If you know you missed out on someone or something recently because
you were either too arrogant or not confident enough, today is the
day to grab your second chance while you can.

Otherwise, it's just potentially a rather pleasant day with fairly
favourable celestial conditions. What we need to be aware of is a
building Sun/Uranus link which could see some rather egotistical
clashes brewing.

Special note to those with aspects to 29 Libra. This goes back to 1982-83. When Pluto was on this point. Some of you might find this anorectic trigger important....as venus is triggering this degree.
It might be Karmic with another or, internal.
A lesson, perhaps.

Hey Thanks, Mme Node
You know I have the Cranky-Chronos fella there, in the 3rd

Cosmic Calendar, Thursday December 6th ~

If you were hoping for a repeat of yesterday's great opportunities for success, you may be in for a let-down. There is a mentally-stimulating 72-degree link between Mercury in Sagittarius and Neptune in Aquarius (12:48AM PST). This is one of the bright spots of the day and it can give your creative imagination tremendous reinforcement. Watch morning dreams for clues about the future. The pressure can start mounting during the morning hours as Mercury makes an abrasive 45-degree link to Vesta (4:48AM PST), Venus makes a contra-parallel to Saturn (12:54PM PST), Mercury squares Saturn (1:17PM PST), and then Mercury makes an awkward, 150-degree tie to Mars (11:00PM PST). If you add on an up-and-coming, semi-annual Sun-Uranus square (exact at 12:35AM PST tomorrow), you may start to see the proverbial handwriting on the wall. Tests, trials and tribulations are often part and parcel of the Scorpio experience and the Moon going through this zodiacal sign right now can up the ante that stormy psychological weather is in store. The Mercury-Vesta link is a reminder to protect your valuables and investments. Venus contacting Saturn can make partners and associates more aloof and distant for the time being. This can be exacerbated by the Mercury-Saturn interaction. By the way, signing contracts and legal agreements right now is probably foolish since Mercury is in conflict to three celestial bodies. The Mercury-Mars encounter this evening is another warning to cool your heels while other people are becoming too headstrong and impulsive for their own good. A late-evening Juno-Chiron parallel (11:38PM PST) can help to soothe your nerves and ameliorate problems with loved ones. As strange as this day may be, tomorrow brings a nearly 21-hour void lunar cycle. Therefore, you may want to run some minor errands today instead of waiting for Friday.
