On December 1, Mercury enters Sagittarius, and speaking the truth will be important. Just make sure you think twice before you do. Relationship-loving Venus enters Scorpio on December 5, and you'll want to make a deep soul connection. Then, the new Moon in Sagittarius on December 9 emphasizes the travel theme so prevalent throughout this solar period. With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings when friends come to call. It's the hap - happiest season of all! There'll be parties for hosting. Marshmallows for toasting and caroling out in the snow. There'll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago. It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! There'll be much mistletoeing and hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near. It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! It's The Most Wonderful Time! It's The Most Wonderful Time! And now that you’ll have THAT song playing in your head all day long (hee-hee), let’s talk about the cosmic week ahead! Uranus is moving forward, starting the movie of your life back up again. Uranus is bringing up last March for you to remember. Uranus is rustling up your feelings from back then to remind you of your dreams, especially the dreams which have been postponed, delayed or held up. Remember back to March? Remember when the Sun in Pisces and Moon in Virgo danced with Uranus and the nodes of destiny? That eclipse at 13 mutable waking all of them up? Uranus was joined to the North Node of your dreams, path and future direction as the Sun lit the way forward in a flash of brilliance. Back then your path or way might not have been as clear as your vision is now ~ you‘ve been working hard since then. Or perhaps your vision WAS clearer then? And since Uranus has been moving backwards starting in June, well, your vision has faded and become less clear, a bit more cloudy, or perhaps further from your reach? Think back to March. Compare it to now. What has changed? Where are you? Where are your dreams?

Since March, the nodes have steadily moved backwards, through Pisces, the path of our vision, soul, numinous links and profound connectedness and Virgo defining how we can actually DO what we think we want to do. Virgo asks us how the heck do we plan to get it all together and actually KEEP it together? It seems, at times, like you are trying to juggle howling cats! Last week’s full Moon lit up the Virgo/ Pisces nodes again as Uranus stationed to go direct. On the full Moon, the Sun was in happy, content and changeable fire while Moon in Gemini found it hard to articulate his profound feelings and get them into words.

What did you see under the full Moon and over the long holiday weekend? You’ve perhaps learned that the dream of yours from last March might take a bit more work to create and form in the world? It will. It always does. It takes time to make those profound dreams of ours into realities in our lives. We don’t have that things-take-time perspective supported very much in our culture. It all seems “instant” and “immediate” or we don’t want to wait.

Well, you can’t have 9 women pregnant for one month to make a baby. You have to have one woman pregnant for 9 months. You are about to get pregnant! I am here to tell you that whatever you figured out isn’t going to come into form until next summer (at the bare minimum) when Saturn gets back to the degree of the lunation of this full Moon.

I can almost hear you moaning. NEXT JULY!!! (Actually your due date is August 2nd but who is counting?) Yep. Saturn is about to stop in the sky. He’s going to go backwards to 1:41 Virgo. He is going back to where he was on September 16th until May 2, 2008. Saturn’s not going to get back to where he is in the heavens right now until then next July. So essentially, you have a giant, Saturn kind of cosmic do-over coming your way. A cosmic pregnancy. Nine long months. Might as well be patient. Might as well get to work on your stuff (focus on your important stuff). Have a great holiday month. Plan your next 13 years ~ you know that vision thing you’ve been feeling ~ sit down and think about what you actually would like to create in your world. You are officially about to get pregnant with your next life. It is now time to get to work integrating and settling into all the changes a-coming in your life with this new part of you getting birthed.

The cycle that started in December 1994 at 28 Scorpio is finishing up over the next few weeks. A new cycle is starting, in your 28th degree of Sagittarius, as Jupiter the planet of abundance, community, and expansion merges with Pluto the planet of profound transformation, riches and evolution. The two of them, Jupiter and Pluto, are meeting on the center of the Universe, the Galactic Center. How cool is that? Yes, it is definitely a vision thing! Take time this week to focus on your vision of the next 13 years of your life. What would you like to have in your world? No, it doesn’t have to be locked in stone but an idea, a vision, an inspiration, a goal to shoot for or a quest for your soul, spirit and being to hold in your heart, hand and head. Monday Venus has a trine of joy, peace and dreams to Neptune. Moon in Cancer has a working aspect to Saturn suggesting you focus on the how to of how to. If you have a plan, it is easy. You know this. Dream big!

Tuesday is a RATHER large bit of squabbly, squawky, horn honking kind of energy as both Mars and Pluto have sesquiquadrate aspects to the partnership and creation asteroids. Sesquiquadrates are energetically what they sound like. If you say it slowly and clearly, you get, hear and understand all the syllables ~ ses-qui-quad-rate. If you try to say it fast, it is a jumble of sound ~sesqui&^%&^rat. It sounded like “ses-q*&^*wer rat” to me when I first heard people rolling it off their tongues rapidly ~ sewer rat with a middle name ~ what a lovely concept! And THAT is what the energy feels like too. Go too fast and it gets all bollixed up. Do it slowly and deliberately and Voila you get all sorts of stuff finished and accomplished. It is a square with stress. Or stress with a square. You can get stuff done but wow, it is a process. Nothing is easy. Mars has a very angry aspect with Chiron so expect folks who you think of as nice and kind to sort of lose it today! Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. That is the best thing to do. Adjust. And, whatever you do, please don’t take it personally. You happened to be in their way when they weren‘t feeling nice and kind.

Wednesday we are all a bit happier with Moon in Leo and the day has reasonably pleasant aspects. You can be a bit blindsided if you aren’t careful. It is one of those days where you tell the story from yesterday and the person listening to it makes a snarky comment back at you. Mercury in Scorpio you know. Mercury in Scorpio in a Ses-qui-quad-rate aspect to cranky Mars in Cancer. Laugh. Be jolly. Let that Leo Moon roar with laughter at the snarky remark. Life is too short to let anyone get you down.

Thursday Mercury joins with Juno. We partner with an interesting level of intensity today. I like days like this as I tend to get a lot accomplished. Take a moment to clear up the clutter around you so you can get ever more done. While you are clearing or cleaning, Sun has an aspect of brilliance to Neptune. Yes! It is a FAB-U-LOUS idea!! Put it in your vision book and on your to-do list. Venus has a Ses-qui-quad-rate aspect to Saturn. Venus is on the world axis and looking to have a bit of a fight with Saturn ~ smile sweetly and move along. Stress with a square. Square with stress. Mercury is in his last degrees of Scorpio so the desire to take a cheap shot back will be enormous! What is the point? Why even play with them? Walk away.

Friday Sun squares Saturn. Have you ever noticed when someone is irritated with you but you are laughing and having a grand old time, that it makes them even MORE irritated with you? Mercury has a 12th house aspect to Pluto as well as an aspect of brilliance with Chiron. If someone is irritated with you (or you are irritated with them) this is one of those days where it can escalate quickly. So walk away. My mother always managed to tune me out when I was being a difficult and argumentative, ses-qui-quad-rate like teenager. She’d pick up the phone and call her friend Bernie, completely ignoring me and my Scorpio mood. And the two of them would laugh, giggle and carry on like a couple of happy fools. It drove me absolutely crazy. I wanted her to fight with me! So, I suggest you do the same today. Carry your iPod with good music on it. Or merely hum out loud. Or open your book and laugh, merrily, right out loud.

Saturn’s day Mercury leaves Scorpio and heads off into Sagittarius. Now Mercury doesn’t like being in Sadge as there is too much to do, learn, remember or keep track of so he loses things like his papers and keys. That said, the intensity and drama of Mercury in Scorpio officially ends today! Hip-hip-hooray. Moon in Virgo suggests you can get a great deal accomplished even if you forget your keys or lose your papers. Mercury ruled by Sagittarius has a tendency to overdo too! If you have 10 parties scheduled for today, make sure to add extra travel time or carry your cell phone. You are going to be delayed, late or get stuck in traffic.

Sunday Mercury has aspects to the nodes of destiny. Take note of those you meet today (or yesterday and tomorrow too) as they are important for the next part of your journey. Venus has lovely aspects with Jupiter and Ceres so seek out wise women and men for guidance, creativity and nurturing. Or be one yourself. Mars and Sun are in a bit of an argument aspect so our men folks (and our desire natures) are going to be a bit hot under the collar and need to adjust. Adjust. Adjust. The problem is the ruler of Men and action, Mars, is STILL retrograde, and STILL out of bounds and STILL in a sign he doesn‘t much like. At least Mars is not annoying the Moon any more! Mars is actually in a Finger of God most of this week with the Sun and Chiron so there is an element of fatedness to the events of the week, particularly if you have things at the degrees of 11 Cancer/ Capricorn. Adjust. Adjust. Adjust. It’s all part of the process of molding you into the next chapter of your life. Take good care of your self! Remember, it is the most wonderful time of the year!

Mundane: It occurred to me that in 1994 the internet wasn’t even a figment in most of our minds. Think of what has happened since 1994 as the digital world has exploded all around us. All the new words like website, dotcom, bloggers, cyberspace, world wide web. Amazon is about to launch a product called “kindle” which makes books portable, digital and deliverable over the networks we use with our cell phones. Newsweek compared “kindle” to the invention of the printing press by Gutenberg over 500 years ago. Books went from being hand copied to printed in mass. Now, with “kindle” libraries are in our hands.

Easy does it! The first workday of December is a whirlwind of intensity. Giant Jupiter in Sagittarius makes an abrasive 45-degree link to Chiron in Aquarius (9:34AM PST). If you are feeling wounded and hurt - particularly on emotional and psychological levels - join the club. The object is to heal old pains from the past on a high note. Helping you do that are a Venus-Pluto supportive, 60-degree alignment (2:34PM PST) and this evening's Sun-Chiron 60-degree tie (7:33PM PST). These two sky patterns can certainly assist you in neutralizing the shadow side and fallout from this morning's Jupiter-Chiron clash. The Venus-Pluto rapport also gives romantic bonds a well-deserved boost. Nevertheless, the universe is still operating in a kind of staccato, uncertain manner since Mercury in Sagittarius squares Pallas in Pisces (2:41PM PST) while the Sun in Sagittarius makes an awkward, 150-degree link to Ceres in Taurus (10:28PM PST). One of the best parts of astrology, when used to its potential as a guide to living, is to maximize the positive and minimize the negative in our lives. Kind of like a magical make over, the planets, especially at their new beginnings of cycles ~ the conjunctions ~ mark pivotal moments in time when there is a chance or an opportunity to push forward towards what we want with conscious intent and an eye towards our future. When we work with cycles already in process (what we‘ve been doing since I started writing this column), we can adjust and tweak at things already in process. But that is the key, they are already in process. We can redress and tinker with them to our hearts content. But the crop was planted and it is in the process of blooming or growing. What you are doing NOW is finishing up the cycle that began in the December of 1994 and getting reading to start a brand new cycle next week. How cool is that!?

So, with that in mind, think about what sign your Ascendant, Sun and maybe even your Moon are in. Then, use the chart below to figure out which houses you are specifically going to be exploring and working with over the next 12 years. Think too about all the other areas you want to expand, using those houses as your base of operation. Remember Jupiter will go rolling around the entire zodiac before he meets back up with Pluto in 2020 in late Capricorn. Jupiter is joining with the powerful Pluto in charge of the hidden depths and wealth of the underworld ~ diamonds, and rubies and gold oh my! First, apply the process to the cycle you are finishing up, the one that started in 1994. For example, I am a Virgo Sun. In 1994, my language (3rd house) skills were transformed as I learned to speak astrology. My home (4th house) expanded as it became where I worked. My library grew enormously. I held classes and met with clients at home as my 7th house (clients, general public) expanded. My Ascendant is Aquarius ~ my career (10th) transformed from being a computer person to astrologer and I expanded in 11th house areas (astrology, internet, new age, community) as my 2nd house income flow changed from corporate paycheck to my own business. My Moon is Pisces~ my spiritual beliefs, dogmas and writing skills transformed as my career (10th) expanded to include teaching and writing and personal, individual (1st) emotional evolution. You can apply the cycle to every planet to see the next area of your life that Jupiter and Pluto are going to wake up.

If you want to get even a bit fancier, find where your Jupiter and Pluto are located in your chart. My Jupiter is in the 6th house ~ my work, daily routines, habits ~ while Pluto is in my 7th house ~ my face to face people, relations, and clients. That will further enhance or expand on the information the universe is giving to you.

Now, as nothing in your life ever goes to waste, Jupiter and Pluto come again to help you expand the cycle of your life. There is a new story starting in the house that holds Sagittarius ~ particularly the degrees of 28 Sagittarius. In 1994, the new story began in your Scorpio house. In 2020, the new story will begin in your Capricorn house. It is how we grow and evolve. If you want to go back further in time, in November 1981, the new story was in your Libra house. In October 1968, the new story was in your Virgo house. In June 1956, the new story was in your Leo house.

So please, please, please, take advantage of this time and use it wisely. Reflect on your life. Reflect on what has happened thus far to you in your current journey on Planet Earth. Record it. Write it down. Make a binder and paste photos into sections divided by Houses. Get it organized (use that Saturn in Virgo and Mars in Cancer retrograde!) so the Universe and you can co-create your next life chapter.

Monday, Juno asks you what you want to partner with as she is in the last degrees of Scorpio and joining with the north node of destiny by parallel. Push a bit for what you want to go for. Juno is all about partnering as she defended herself against intruders to her home. Mercury has a square to Pallas so the plan might not work out as you thought it would. Adjust. All the cranky aspects say adjust. Venus sextiles Pluto giving her desire nature a bit of a push as Pluto kind of pulls her into her depths. She‘s willing to work for what she wants. It is about pushing the rock up the hill. Mercury has an aspect of brilliance with Mars about approaches to take to make the job of pushing the rock up the hill easier and more fun. Moon in Libra finds Venus gracious IF a bit impractical and impassioned. Sun has a working aspect with Chiron ~ illumination comes through working it out and figuring it out. Expect understanding. Call a friend and talk if you are not seeing the light. They will help.

Tuesday, Venus is not pleased with Juno’s partnering ideas. Let the girls work it out and go over to help Ceres with the food, nurturing and service energies. Sun has to adjust his approach. No spotlight on the flaws. Gentle illumination please. Sun in Sagittarius tends to put its foot in its mouth. Today even silence, non-committal grunting or smiling will get you in trouble. Mom Earth and the nurturing sides of all of us are feeling rather maxed out, unhappy, under-appreciated and overwhelmed with all that still needs to be done and no one to do it all. Take a moment to dream about the 13 year plan while folding the napkins or doing the dishes. In those quiet moments of silent work, dream your future.

Wednesday, a decent sized void moon starts the day off with a bit of stuff not flowing smoothly. Venus changes signs into Scorpio today, increasing her passion and pushing her energy up a notch. Venus doesn’t much like being in Scorpio as she is sharp tongued for the Goddess of love. The “b” rhymes with witch word will be much in vogue today. If they don’t call you one, you will call them one. Get the annoyance out of you and off into the ethers where it can go bother a cloud. Venus is crabby. Relations are frayed. Again silence, a grunt or a smile can get you into trouble as Venus is looking for an argument. Come up with a strategy for working with her excess energy, if you can. And the best strategy might be for you to go play piano for an hour or two while she stews! Or do something musical and evocative. Emotions are flowing.

Thursday, Mercury has an aspect of brilliance to Neptune as it sees a new approach to take on the home front. I told you to go play piano. Didn’t it help? Venus is finally back in a good mood of sorts. Mercury’s square to Saturn suggests you continue to keep your mouth closed. Whatever you say will be wrong. So listen. Venus is trying to figure out what she wants to do. She’s feeling pushed by Saturn to be perfect in every way and that is just not the way life works. There is no such thing as perfect. There is good. There is good enough. There is okay for now. There might be moments of perfect but that is such an unrealistic way in which to live. Venus is tired out by having to be so darned perfect all the time. Tell her she doesn’t have to be perfect any more.

Friday a loooonnnnnng void moon ~ all day in fact. Just as well as you woke up in the middle of the night last night unable to sleep as Uranus squared the Sun. Suddenly, it all kind of makes sense, doesn’t it? See. It was all part of the process. Mercury has a bit of a cranky aspect to Mars ~ again remember Mercury in Sagittarius tends to put his foot in his mouth. Mars in Cancer is cranky, out of bounds, in a sign he hates and moving backwards in the heavens. Why did you even try? Chiron wakes the nodes up as does Juno by joining with them by declination. We are composed of our wounds. Our wounds are what make us who we are. When we learn to ‘partner’ with our wounds and embrace them as our own, we find our life goes so much easier. Banishing the things we are afraid of doesn’t help the situation. Make a note to re-read Where the Wild Things Are and see how it applies to your life.

Saturn’s day finds Mercury in a much better mood after his adventurous week. Give yourself the gift of friends and laughter. Mars has a working aspect to Saturn so take time to organize and tackle a few outstanding tasks that have been asking you to attend to them. Juno enters Sagittarius, giving her a boost of positive energy and releasing a bit of her jealousy and over the top behavior this past week. Juno only seeks to preserve the order of the existing structure. But sometimes that structure isn’t working for anyone (or you) in the way it used to. You will be fine. And what IS your dream for the next 13 years of your life?
