at this moment in time .. the Moon is aspecting .. by square .. your natal Mars ..
( in effect for about half a day ) .. a pretty good transit to make one feel moody ..

over the next two days Mercury will be squaring your natal Mars ..
so you Might Feel verbally/mentally agressive or impatient .. you might Feel impatient on short journeys ..

in the longer term Jupiter is opposing your natal Moon ..
probably exaggerating any Feelings you might have .. one way or another ..

and probably much stronger in effect is Neptune conjoining by aspect your natal Mars ..

in effect since begining 2006 at least ..
after december this year it will reduce in effect ..

you and your generational group have a Pluto square natal Pluto transit

those are all in very close orb .. i.e. the effect will be Felt strongly ..

if astrology could predict when one's children are likely to behave in a moody and agressive manner
over a priod of a few days .. would that be a waste of time ???
astrology can easily do that .. and more ..
it all depends on what one Expects from astrology ..
as a mood predictor .. it works fine ..
as for Accuracy .. well that will depend on the Interpreter .. not the planetary setup ..
if one Observes on how the planetary transits ( for example) effect ones own behaviour ..
then .. imho .. it does not become a waste of time ..

if one blatantly accepts all that's written about astrology .. without discrimination ..
then .. maybe it becomes a waste of time ..

an example ..
take one hermit living in a cave .. isolated from other human beings ..
said hermit has a transit to their natal chart which might be interpreted as ..
" you are about to meet the love of your life "
( i.e. an interp from the 'magazine column ' generalised type of astrology or similar )
well unless that hermit gets out and socialises with others ..
it be hardly likely that they will meet anyone .. never mind the 'love of their life" ..
although .. they might internally feel that that's a possibilty ..

btw: for observational purposes ..
right now Mars is sextiling my natal Mercury ..
and is about 5 degrees from conjuncting my ascendant ..
( seems to effecting my neighbours' kids as well ..
( as they've running wild about their house since yesterday
( i'm not far from plugging in a guitar .. and turning the volume up
( and showing them just what an augmented ninth chord with a flattened seventh sounds like .. :-)))

given what some folks might expect from astrology .. then yes .. it could be seen as a waste of time ..
i.e. they could be wasting their time looking to astrology for that 'fated meeting' in the future ..
e.g. questions like "when will i find love" based on astrology ..

to me .. astrology in the main .. is a reflection of a persons inner psyche ..
.. not some sort of fortune telling ..
if someone would expect it to be fortune telling .. then yeah .. they're probably wasting their time ..
one may as well toss a coin to find answers ..

as it is .. many posts seem to be snapshot expression of how the poster is feeling at the time ..
so it's ( the post ) more of a reflection on how the astrological influences are making them feel ..

and re some postings .. i rekon one might take into account the poster could be somewhat drunk ..
or their motivations for posting in the first place might be suspect ..

i.e. when they post .. and maybe reflect on how they are reacting to any transits ..
i reckon it be a good way to learn about some aspects of astrology ..

and another thing ..
an astrologer cannot really help much without information from the person asking the questions ..
it's suprising how many people expect answers from a chart alone ..
in all probability .. they would be better off going to see a psychic / medium ..

i think most musicians or artists of some nature have their up and down days ..
e.g. somedays guitar playing goes well .. other days it falls flat on its face .. fumble fingers and the like ..
i've noticed .. but not documented .. certain transits which either help or hinder ..
well mainly the ones that have that .. 'feel good factor .. my guitar playing is going well today' ..
and or .. 'i feel creative and can express it well and my fingers are co-operating with the fretboard '

so .. what IF one could predict to a group of musicians a good and rewarding time to rehearse or jam ..
or create new musical pieces .. write a song .. etc .. ?

if that were the case .. then one could be of value as an astrolger for aspiring musicians and bands ..
i.e. in planning their musical get togethers and such ..
and if that were the case .. then one could possibly earn some money as a planning advisor ..
and .. that would not be a waste of time .. not if it were to earn one some cash and astrological credibilty ..
.. especially the cash ..

just thinking about that one after reading an astrological article on the sinking of the Titanic ..
it was reckoned .. by the author .. that ..
no astrologer .. in-the-know .. would have travelled on board that ship at that time ..
the captains chart was aslo looked at ..

So there will be times when it can be off, but theres a higher possiblity of it being right.

I rember it was predicted i whould have met my soul mate last summer, turns out durring the same time i was suppose to get a dog.

So it wasn't exactly right there were some varables, but the fact that i whould be expecting someone or something into my life was true.

I just find that as long as you expect something related to it to happen you won't be disapointed, otherwise if you expect it to be 100% dead on your asking to be dispointed.

I find it helps to explain and give hints and clues on somethings.

there are times when it flows well .. and there are times when it doesn't ..
e.g. does your guitar playing always work out well ?? and goes 'forward' so to speak
are there not times when it's better or not so good .. ?? and one feels stuck in a rut ??
and .. are there not times when group activities work out well ..
and other times when they don't ..

i didn't mean the planets should take the credit
i simply meant there are times when those activities go smoothly ..
and times when they don't ..

pick up your guitar 'n see how it works out ..

those are just ideas .. i've no idea as to the result ..

next time it goes well for me .. i.e. when i'm playing better than normal ..
i'll make a note of my transits ..
and then maybe some conclusions can start to be formulated ..

methinks the subject could do with a separate thread ..
with observations from the musical and artistic know flakes ..
it would mean observing ones transits over a period of time ..
if folks were to post for example ..
" today/this week .. was great from an artistic endeavor point of view" ..
i don't mind noting and documenting the transits to their charts ..
could make an interesting study .. possibly ??

I haven't played in months but I am do to start playing again, give me about a week or so to get back into it.
The idea still turns me off but it would be interesting to know.
