Thanks lalalinda  I'm not sure, zenwarner. Actually someone I know has pisces on their 12th house cusp and they have a serious mental illness, so since pisces is associated with the 12th house neptune's way of causing illusions is sure to work better through it. The one your talking about almost has a pisces cusp. IP: Logged |

AHhhhhhhh...Haa...haaa...Nope it's not that simple. You see my husband has the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Chiron all located in the 12th house "Pisces on the cusp" at 20º 20' (20/20 as in "vision", haaa...haa...)
He's neither mentally ill nor headed that way anytime soon.
We've been together more than 12 years, I think I'd know by now...
*still laughing, LOL! royalstar, Hello and  to Linda Land. Mental illness may possibly be indicated natally by afflictions/oppositions involving Neptune, as well as transits occuring...

As YFIS said: That is way too simplistic. You can't narrow it down to one house or one planet. Every sign has its share of mentally disturbed people.
In fact, most astrologers will tell you that you can't find a definitive correlation between a person's chart and mental illness. A lot comes into play when it comes to people. People are more than just a bunch of planets in a chart. A person can have the nicest chart in the world and still be the most screwed up individual - Hitler, anyone? And someone can have the most screwed up chart and be the most grounded and wonderful person. You can't tell a person's true character from a chart. Oh, if only it were that easy...Laughs along with YFIS.  ------------------

I have both Jupiter and Moon in 12th house(in Cancer)...I must be a raving lunatic lol! But seriously I would think bad aspects to Neptune might be some of the cause.------------------
Sun in Libra
Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
