Topic: How to tell planets in the houses?

I am not that educated on Houses in astrology. My natal chart from cafeastrology shows which signs are in the houses, but how do I know which planets are in which house? Here is my info according to cafeastrology's natal chart service:Sun Capricorn 7.22
Moon Sagittarius 12.38
Mercury Sagittarius 29.08
Venus Scorpio 21.49
Mars Pisces 22.56
Jupiter Pisces 17.07
Saturn Sagittarius 15.06
Uranus Sagittarius 23.27
Neptune Capricorn 5.36
Pluto Scorpio 9.24
Lilith Cancer 4.04
Asc node Aries 17.06 Ascendant Scorpio 12.46
II Sagittarius 12.07
III Capricorn 15.28
IV Aquarius 20.45
V Pisces 23.18
VI Aries 20.29
VII Taurus 12.46
VIII Gemini 12.07
IX Cancer 15.28
Midheaven Leo 20.45
XI Virgo 23.18
XII Libra 20.29 So..for example, I know my THIRD house is in CAPRICORN , right? But how do I know which house my MERCURY is in? IP: Logged |

Your second house begins at 12.07 Sag and your third house begins at 15.28 Cap. Since your Mercury is 29.08 Sag, it is betwen those house numbers and it falls in the second house.If your Mercury were 15.29 Cap, it would be in the third house. If it were 11.09 Sag, it would be in the first. I know it can be a bit confusing when first starting all this. You might do your chart at astro.com because they tell you the houses of the planets, too. IP: Logged |

I just looked at my chart from astro.com and figured it out  Venus conunct Asc. in first house, everything else except for Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto are in the 2nd house!!! Jupiter in 4th, Mars in 5th, Pluto in 12th. I find they are all very accurate except for most of the 2nd house placements - I don't give a rat's ass about material wealth!IP: Logged |

Second house isn't just about money. The second house is your resources (more than just your moolah) and how you relate to the physical environment. It's everything from how you handle a bank account to what fabrics your clothes are. It's feng shui and sensuality and music.IP: Logged |

Second house is also values, and I'm not talking about only material values. It's sad to see so many astrology websites and books forget to mention this, 2nd house and Taurus are not as money obsessed as they often make it seem.IP: Logged |
