Do you think your moon's phase at time of birth has any bearing on the type of people you attract/attracted to? (Lovers, Friends, etc.)IP: Logged |

I think the Moon phase has more to do with your own feelings and how you see others. I think that your Moon sign gives your more of a sensitivity to your own natural tendencies and that the South Node of the Moon shows what comes natural and the North Node of the Moon shows the qualities that now need to be expanded. Your first house is going to show you how other people see you and the 12th house is how you see yourself. IP: Logged |

Interesting question Sarai... I do believe to a certain extent this could be the case as the moon represents our feelings, emotional nature, etc. The phase in which it's in at birth only makes these energies more fine-tuned, specific so to speak...Feelings and emotional nature obviously play a role in our likes and dislikes, this would include attraction towards others. Example: Have you ever been turned off by someone who acts whiny? How about someone who seems calm, cool, and collective..Does this feel comforting? It seems to be natural to find ourselves attracted to others with an emotional nature most like our own. We connect with these people and don't feel shocked or surprised by the way they express emotion. I especilly notice this in a man's chart as compared to a womans the attraction factor based on phases and moon placement. friendinspirit,Great insight. Do you mean a man is more inclined to be sensitive to a woman's moon phase, in regards to his own? Like, a man with a balsamic moon would want the same in a woman? Is this the same for a man with a new moon?? IP: Logged |

Yes, yes, a man uses his moon as radar more so than a woman in the area of attractions.Furthermore validating this, you'll discover: Applying aspects to a mans moon seem to indicate potential marriages. This is more likely the case if said woman has similar natal pattern. [Moon phase] Where as in a womans chart it is the sun that dictates potentials... um... hang on, someone posted an interesting link that explains this theory better. Let me go find it... Updated to add: Couldn't find it but, here is something quite similiar: Clickity-click, LOL! (notice the scanned book pages AG posted at the end says also: Sun or Moon both applying and seperating will somewhat describe ALL of the partners a client will attract) Again, I believe it's natural to be attracted to what is comfortable to us. I can't begin to tell you the amount of times I've seen new relationships "be it friends (or) more" split thier separate ways because one is not in tune with the other at an emotional nature. People fear what they don't understand. *I myself run the the wind if I'm grouped up with a man that is not in total control of his emotions. Tears and passion are one thing but becoming overwhelmed by these due to your moons nature is quite another. My moon is all about balance "Libra" and it's phase specializes this further. IP: Logged |

Hi Sarai! I hadn't thought about this before... I'm a full moon in Scorpio baby, so I'm comfortable with people who can express their emotions, and I'm not scared off by deep emotions or emotional wounds. I'm emotionally open and I'm very comfortable with every aspect of my emotional life and that of others, but I have to reign myself in with my own emotional expression as I think it can be scary to men if you throw too much emotion at them. Conversely, I don't like it when men are completely non-emotional, as this feels alien to me.IP: Logged |

GeminiLover,Hey!! I just started learning about moon phases and noticed how a lot of my closest friends have similar phases to mine. I actually only know two people with waning crescent (balsamic) moons and you can definitely tell that they have a few extra sensitive bones in their body. I know quite a few full moons! One actually has hers in Scorpio too with a Libra sun. IP: Logged |
