The page kind of sucks, but the music is all me.
Some Days Are Alright was really my only experimentation using [a program called] Reason. This song seems like the least creative on my part, though it sounds decent. I like it's upbeat, kid-tapping-a stick-as-he-walks-along feel of it.
08252006 Was totally put together on my keyboard. My keyboard's disk drive is now broken, so I've lost all the rest of my creations on it. My cover of [everything but the guitar part of] Beautiful Day by U2 was awesome. I also had started a couple surprisingly good covers of The Cure (In Between Days), and The Smiths (How Soon is Now). There were also a ton of (over 100) originals of course, so the loss still leaves me bitter (as someone else inadvertently broke the thing).
Mike Song is a chord progression my Taurus friend Mike put together (just 3 chords). I did all the music on that except for the drums. I used pre-made loops for the drums.
Untitled is my latest creation, and my biggest use of guitar in recording to date. I finally have a decent sound card for recording. Now I need to upgrade my RAM for the best recording experience. There's no keyboard at all in this one, though I did program the bassline and drums (using my recording program's sequencer). It think this song is in pretty good rough draft form.

My profile at AcidPlanet. ACID Music Studio is actually my favorite recording software at the moment. I have three profiles there. They are listed in the left sidebar.

A lot of the music I put up there is loop based. I used to participate in their battles where people would pair off, and try to create the best song out of the same 10 loops. There are two battle songs on the AcousticGod profile (Clowns and Attraction), and the rest are under the Insidious Darkness one.

It looks like it will be a good year for you. mercury and the sun are in your 3rd house, which is very good for your music. Uranus in the 5th should bring some very creative and innovative ideas and creativity.

venus in the 1st should be nice.

Sun conjunct mercury is good, I think you had jupiter and pluto in the 2nd - maybe this will bring some money your way. I really like the jupiter conjunct sun!

This chart gives me a good vibe.

I haven't listened to your music yet, but I will later. Definately.

I also have mars opp pluto (in my SR), but the houses are reversed - I'm not sure how great that is, but we'll see.

My flight was cancelled today due to bad weather in Boston (where my layover is). I fly out tomorrow now.

I loved ALL of the music! I really like how each is so different and unique.

I like what you did with Mike Song 4...it's so haunting. It reminds me of that classical piece from the Stanley Kubrick movie, Barry Lyndon. I believe it's Handel's Sarabande. Check it out!

I hope your money predictions are true. That would be nice. It's hard to know what to do with Solar Return charts.

Yeah, I was pretty happy with Mike Song as well. I like the wah-piano sound in the chorus. Lucky experiment with the effects there.

The main things they say to look for are:

You'd also want to look at natal planets that are on your SR's angles. "This consideration shows us what natal conditions, or inherent personality issues, are highlighted in the year of the Solar Return." (On a side note, I just noticed that our MC-IC axes mirror one another; my MC is 12º Leo. )
CafeAstrology doesn't say to do this, but I also looked at SR planets on natal angles. Your SR Moon widely conjuncts your natal IC. Also, your SR MC conjuncts your natal IC. I think both of those things show a focus on aligning your public self more deeply with your inner self. And the SR Asc in the 6th house focuses that on work.

I'm a little confused with these solar return charts.

If I run it now on astro.com, it will show me 2007/2008 solar return chart. But if I run it on 1st Jan 2008, it will show me 2008/2009 solar return chart.

Sorry, AG, I didn`t want to hijack your thread, just found that interesting, and have no clue how to interprete that.

But the ASC of the SR is not ALWAYS conjunct the natal ASC, is it?

OH and yes, my SR is tomorrow morning.

As far as i know, SR ASC conj natal Asc indicates a very important and significant year for you.

The Moon always represents the area where some changes would happen - so conjunct the IC might mean changes in your family life. home etc

And with that stellium of planet in your 1st house - the main focus will be on yourself...
If im right Jupiter AND Pluto conjuncts your sun now, arent they?
Significant self changes and transformations...thats my guess.
But im not a big expert though

*Sighs* That Sun-Pluto conjunction is sticking like glue to my solar returns, at least since 2005.

Also, I discovered something creepy.
I looked at several Solar-returns in my life, well, okay, I had a short peak at all of them since 1988. lol

And so I also looked at the years, when there were some events tied to this singer, I can`t stop talking about.
When I first laid eyes on him in a TV-show (1992), when I first saw him live (2000), when I saw him in that little club, when he left me just speechless (2003) and of course I also looked at next year.

And this I found in my SR:

1992: Venus on 14° Scorpio
2000: Venus on 14° Scorpio
2003: Venus on 13° Scorpio conjunct Mars on 11° Scorpio
2008: Venus on 15° Scorpio (14°59 to be exact)conjunct LIlith on 17° Scorpio

Even more so, since his true SN is on 15° Scorpio, the Mean SN is on 13° Scorpio.
And, his prenatal Sun-Venus-conjunction is on 16° Scorpio, while my prenatal Sun-Venus-conjunction is on 14° Scorpio (I read about that one in Blashke`s book).

Also, I just checked the year, when I realized that he was gay, and there was a Venus / NN-conjunction
Wanna guess, in which sign?

Yip: Venus on 12° Scorpio and NN on 14° Scorpio.
And furthermore this year the Chiron was exactly square my Sun and Moon, making this a T-square (I Had a fullmoon from Sun in 2nd house to Moon in 8th house and Chiron spoiled the fun from the 11th house.).
Amazingly, my SR-Chiron back then fell exactly onto this singer`s Uranus and was opposite his Saturn / Chiron / Lilith-conjunction. Holy crap!
On top of that the SR-ASC was square the Neptune / Uranus-conjunction, AND his natal Moon / ASC fell onto my SR-DSC (like the combination I had last year *sighs* I really shouldn`t have gone to that concert. I guess it was one too many.)
And of course it was the year of the last Jupiter-Pluto-conjunction. How could I have expected anything else?
(Back then the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction fell into my natal 12th house; this time it is taking place in my 1st house; maybe I am more conscious of things that happen now?)

I listened to your music. It's really good! I liked Mike Song and Untitled best, but the others were good too.

Mike's song was haunting. It had a lot of emotion, or it seemed that way to me.

I have lyrics, but they're not really lyrics - someone told me they should be though. Don't know a thing about music, except for what I like

Anyway, Yes, your girlfriend looks like she'll have a career year with all of those planets in her 10th. They fall into her natal 12th, so that's confusing. I don't know what she does, but if she does anything artistic ot that requires working alone, that would be great for her.

Your SR neptune falls into your 10th house. With your musical career, this could be good. However, it could also cause confusion in your career - to where you may be unsure what you want to do. You have this transit natally now, so I'm guessing you're already dealing with neptune in your 10th.

Uranus in the 11th...that could mean you meet unorthodox and unusual friends. Join some new groups - maybe you'll start a new band...? Just some thoughts...
