I was wondering how does one find out how many significant relationships one would have in their lifetime?? Someone once read my chart and said I will have one significant relationship in my lifetime?? What aspects should I look at??!?!?!? Thanks.

Hi peoples

I read on another thread that for every major aspect the sun makes in a natal chart it is counted as a signigicant relationship (for females).
eg. my first major aspect is sun square saturn and I am in a relationship with a capricorn. Saturn rules Capricorn.
And for males it is every aspect the moon makes.
I think this is right. But if it's not someone who knows will come along and tell you.

braveheart, can i ask you what counts as a significant relationship? one that is at least a year or two in length? and what about aspects to chiron and the angles; do those count? i ask because i have SEVEN aspects to my sun (if chiron counts) and i am not interested in having many more significant relationships. i've had 5 or 6 relationships that i would consider fairly "significant" but only 3 of them were over a year (1-3 years in length). if you don't know the answers to my many questions, could you give the link to the thread? thanks!!

also, do you just go down the list for each relationship you've had, chronologically (on both counts)? meaning, moon would be first boyfriend, mercury second, venus, third, jupiter, fourth , pluto fifth, for example?

thanks!

*Heart Cakes,
See link number two from below when working this method and remember these key words: applying aspects

miss82,
If you are emotionally available and consider the idea of serious relationship/marraige an option worth exploring chances are you'll attract others of like mind and then have potential opportunities in which to work with.

You see when looking at your chart you must look at ALL of it. This means each cusp, each house, each planet, each ruler, each sign, each aspect, etc. The combined total of your chart will show indications of areas where life will seem easy and also will show where life may show challenging areas.

It's also important to realize that different areas of your chart will naturally be stronger influences than others. This is why I usually direct people to Learn Basic Astrology through Tim Wilson's site (or) here at Linda Lands own Free Astrology course which is moderated by Tim. This should set you on an excellerated path to a good healthy understanding of astrology.

Then you could quickly recognize in your own chart as well as in others charts areas of importance to you (like significant others) or your given circumstances and see for yourself potential strengths and weaknesses in the natal chart. By doing this, you will also discover that serious relationships/marraiges are not necessarily indicated by one particular area of the chart at all....

It could absolutely show us who we are likely to attract... and maybe even the partners own strengths, etc.

We look at alot of things like:
The seventh house, the sign on the cusp, the degrees, the planets within the seventh house, the signs in which they are in, the aspects they make to other areas of the chart, and yes we even look at other houses.

In a womans chart we may specifically put some focus towards applying aspects to her sun, while in a mans chart we may look for these applying aspects toward his moon... The list really goes on and on and on....

Essentially what you choose to do with these natal astrological influences is really the absolute deciding factor of the meeting of a signicant other or marraige potential. Astrology does not place limits to the amount of relationships you are allowed to have. Your personal environment, health, values, faith, morals, etc. all play a huge part of this psychology here too...

If you are unhappy with my answer and really truly believe that your chart shows "the one" in all his glory (I'm assuming your female) I invite you to explore these links. Be well aware that you should have at least a comfortable level of astrological knowledge before proceeding though

*When will you marry?

*A technique for determining the number of marraiges

*Marraige indicators

*When Will You Marry...

*WHEN WILL YOU MARRY?

*Venus/Chiron contacts in synastry indicating marriage???

*Astrological Factors determining whether two people fall in love?

Enjoy!

NOTE: There are 307 pages of astrology threads of information just in this forum click the page numbers at the bottom to weed through them, your bound to find 100's more related topics as well...

I hope this helps?

I have three major aspects to my Sag Sun..

Sun aspects:

Square Pluto in Virgo- My first husband was a Virgo

Trine Saturn in Taurus- My ex-fiance was a Taurus with Moon in Virgo (conjuncting my Pluto)

Sun conjunct Venus in Sag and Conjunct my IC- It also trines my Aries moon and Chiron in Aries

My husband, Bear, is a Leo. His Mars in Taurus conjuncts my Saturn and trines my sun, his Venus in Virgo conjuncts my Pluto and squares my Sun, my sun and Venus also trines his Chiron in Aries.

I also have Sun sextile Jupiter in scorpio by degree and hubby's Jupiter falls into my 5th house.

I have had a few significant relationships but none so binding and complete as this marriage. I have a feeling it has everything to do with our Venus / Pluto, Sun / Chiron and Saturn aspects
