With Pluto moving into Capricorn in January, I will soon have Pluto conjunct my natal sun and mars, which will last quite a while. At the same time, for the next 2 years, I will be having my saturn return which began in September, and I've already felt some of the effects.

Does anyone have any theories, ideas, or experiences as to how both of these major transits occuring at the same time will affect me?

What could this mean for my future in the next couple of years?

These are intense transits by themselves when they only affect one planet...but I can't imagine what this will be like for me...

CrankyCap, Will this be your first or 2nd Saturn Return? I am in or beginning my 2nd. Preceding this were heavy aspects of outer planets. i think i call that "refiners' fire". Now it is "steamrollin' Saturn" in my first House of Virgo very close to Lea Ascendent Pluto. For me there has been pruning people, ideas, stuff away. Also, since mine has to do with 'what i reap; i sow' and "vindication will be mine" and "Be quiet and feel the power", "float", also, "When I do wash up on the shore with things that floated in with me all around and much must be left behind", "Choose what you carry. Rocks of guilt? non-symbiotic relationships? Fear? Envy? -Since i seem to have past through quite a few extremes as earth scenes go, karmic debts have been paid. At one point this year i was actually trying to jog to relieve the heaviness, morbidity, etc. that I seemed to be supporting. At a certain point I felt a shift of lightness, an actual physical shift of relief. Since saturn is a slow roller i am not sure what changed astrologically but something did. While there is much ahead with the Saturn Return the worst is over and I have started being vindicated and to reap what I have sown. Good luck from Tuxedo meow

currently, i have transitting pluto conjunct my natal sun, natal venus, and natal mercury by january, it'll be conjuncting my sun and my mercury - i see you are coming into pluto transitting your natal sun and your natal mars - i can honestly say that if you don't trust and believe in yourself right now or you want to feel empowered (even if you don't know that you want or need it) or you feel the need to answer the call of your heart even if the call seems so far away and you don't know exactly what it's saying - pluto's transit will help you get closer to that, the connection to your sun will help you feel empowered even in situations you once thought you were powerless in, you will believe in yourself even when you thought you had no reason to believe in yourself before, you will take pride in the things about yourself you think that others think are corny. maybe with your mars conjunction - it'll be a much more aggressive quality about it - a much more commanding one but all the same - it'll be very intense but in the end, good experience for you. it can be a humiliating experience because you get to see the other side of yourself that you hide - even from yourself and in some cases - have to decide to go against yourself or stand up for yourself. your principles are being upgraded. the best advice i can say is, enjoy it while hanging on loosely because if you try to hold on too tightly, your reigns will be tugged. best of luck to you. you'll be amazed to see the difference between the you of today and the you in a couple of years. if anything - video record yourself and then look at it again at the end of the transit. also, find some way to relax like start jogging, swimming or cycling. i've been cycling. meditation would work well for you too - it may surprise you the things you try to convince yourself of and why.

I'll try to find the post I wrote about Pluto conjunct Sun. I'm a Sag - 25 degrees and I have been dealing with that transit for the past year or longer (depending on the retrograde). For me, it was just about transformations. I had so much going on and so many changes- actually from the time that Pluto entered Sag things began to change. I also had the added ick of Saturn being in Gemini and at one time making a total sandwich out of my Sun / Venus conjunct and Pluto... Ouch...

It will take a few days.. I am ready for going to bed (it's almost 1am here).
