Yay Geminis!My 6 year old nephew is a Gem. He's almost unbearably adorable. The last time he visited, we made a cooking show video, with me as the cook, he was my helper, and my SO was the cameraman. I was dicing food and he said, "Aunt 'Jane' is very good with a knife." And then he looked right at the camera and said to my SO, "You better never get her mad."  That kid is alllllright. I think Gems deflect b/c they're genuinely curious and are on an information gathering hunt. IP: Logged |

except.. the thing i don't get is: though they are mutable, the information-gathering is somewhat of an action orientation, you know? the curiosity is a thrust of sorts..so what do they want in a partner? is it as simple as just someone to share information with and talk to? any of the benjamins, feel free to reply! I wish i could ask what are aquas are into lol...But, sharing and gathering information is one of them, for me anyway. I can't say the same for all gems just because there charts can be diffrent. But its always about being a mystery to me, there was on aqua i knew that was so eccentric...that I just wanted to figure her out as mush as i can. I never solved that mystery....and still try to piece it together. I could be wrong on this but when a gem and aqua are togther is it always the aqua thats in charage and the gem, just goes along with aqua??. IP: Logged |

aquas are into understanding everything too. but i think it's less in bits and pieces and more in these giant pictures of interconnectedness. picutre an orb or something and flashes of lightening within it. that is how our minds work, but we are trying to feel out the entirety of the orb. only we don't know where the flash will go off next. so we just go with it and think about it between flashes!and also, we aren't really weird or confusing on purpose. when people don't get us since we can't really get out of our minds, we just tend to try to relate as much as possible while our minds are still processing. often it comes out as total weirdness.. but we are ALWAYS trying to understand too. i love it cuz it's like gemini gathers the pieces and are always game for the exploring part.. and aquarians have the fixity to sit there with the bajillion peices and try to put the puzzle together. i guess we are pretty similar. i just know that the element of air is so airy that it is hard to get a grasp on it, even for another air sign, it would seem! interesting.. You know what... my third house cusp is Aquarius, and I have Mercury opposite Uranus, and I don't even understand myself. haha! Ok well to be honest I think I'm a clear communicator, but what I can't quite grasp is how my Aquarian/Uranian influence when it comes to communication is playing out. I see those things in my chart and think "wtf?". Mr Gemini is constantly learning things and repeating it all back to me.  IP: Logged |

3rd! i missed your question: "I could be wrong on this but when a gem and aqua are togther is it always the aqua thats in charage and the gem, just goes along with aqua??."i am sorta thinking that may be true. but can i ask YOU would it even be possible for it to be the other way around and for you to be in the lead? i guess since we both lack cardinality but since aquarians are fixed, that is a bit more of a DEFINED energy and since gem is mutable/adapting then generally speaking i think it would tend to be that way. but that puts us in a weird spot too cuz we like to know what we are fixing TO. we like to framework things and then gemini comes along and says, okay enough of that! now this!! thus the confusion i think! i guess it is just a moment by moment dance.. i'll tell you it is extremely exhilerating and so much fun for an aqua to be with a gemini! mental stimulation is our favourite pasttime! gemini lover! ahh, i always sensed something uranian about you!! yeah man. i would like to comfort you, but likely you'll never figure it out. kinda fun though, right?

Reeeeeeeeeally? That's unusual, because no one has ever sensed something Uranian about me before, or at least they've never mentioned it. lolol! I also have sun opposite Uranus and moon conjunct Uranus. And I love Uranian-influenced people. However my mother always said that I like the weird/"outrageous" guys and that my interest in dreams and psychic stuff at a young age was a bit "weird". hahaha ... My Uranus is retrograde though, so I think it's more of an 'inner' thing rather than something that manifests outwardly to most people.Back to the Gemini's though... Waylon Jennings Johnny Diesel. My Mr Gem doesn't multitask in the typical sense - I'm the true multitasker but he won't admit it - he's more like intently focused on one thing, and then suddenly his focus will switch to something completely different for a while, and then he'll switch to something else.
