I've been researching the T-square in my chart and was hoping to get some input. Mercury (11th house, Taurus) opposite Uranus (5th house Scorpio) with Saturn (2nd house Leo) serving as the focal point for the two. Any suggestions for good websites to visit? I've read about each of these individually, but putting it all together is way beyond me. IP: Logged |

Maybe you just did fine expressing that one! It's not beyond you. As it happens I have a son with these planets interrelating. A very clever lad, but I find myself saying a lot: go through it steadily, concentrate, etc, etc. You probably think fast, come up with good ideas, but get impatient -> Mercury opposite Uranus and then you get frustrated -> Saturn at head of t maybe getting hung up on details, or trying to work out how to implement them -> Saturn square Mercury and maybe being inconsistent in your approach -> Saturn square Uranus Add in the houses and signs and you will start getting more of the flavour. I have 3 fixed t-squares in my chart and I am almost 46 years old...These t-squares have always and I do mean ALWAYS lend their hands into my life, so challenging. But I would not have it any other way. The challenges the t-squares bring us are a blessing (in disguise.) Embrace your challenges and learn from them... For, from learning comes growth. And I think, maybe that is just what we are all here for. T~~~ IP: Logged |

A Kite means you have a Grand Trine crossed by an Opposition. This means you have been blessed with gifts, and a bit of stress to motivate you to use them. What does a Kite do when the wind is right? Unless you have an Octile Kite ~ this is a new one on me, so thanks lalaLinda for the link! (see above) IP: Logged |

Blue Moon, that bit about inconsistent approach describes me to a T! Although I guess burning the candle at both ends would be considered a consistent approach...just not useful. Frustrated, yes. Impatient doesn't really describe me, though, even with my Aries sun. I've read that Mercury opposite Uranus can be understood as a certain lack of tact, which I've heard from a few people; I've heard the converse as well. Of course, I'm not opposed to asking questions, leading some to infer that I must hold those views. Which brings me to Uranus in Scorpio in the 5th house. Inquisitiveness, understanding of arcane things, and lust(!) in opposition to Mercury in Taurus in the 11th house, which pertains to both methodical thoughts, deliberate/reluctant speech, and generally having my needs met (through other people's money). And the squared aspect, Saturn in Leo brings a sense of importance, and determination to reach goals and in the 2nd house, that translates into material gain. ? And if I were to bring in the 8th house, directly situated in Aquarius, as the focus of my energies (how to solve the challenge of the T-Square), then I would have to seek out challenging and life-changing experiences. The latter part makes complete sense to me. I seem to enjoy painful, learning experiences, and when I was younger I would seek them out deliberately. Now that I'm older and wiser (HA!), I choose to work in poverty-stricken 3rd world countries that have cultures vastly different than my own. Definitely challenging and life-changing. Sorry to be so wordy. I'm going to dig a lot deeper (holidays, time and all, no one around in this strange land) and see if I can understand this better. Thanks for all of your help. Any gentle nudges or criticisms will be kindly accepted. IP: Logged |

Blue moon, A little stress is fine to motivate me, but I am so stressed, that I am losing hair by the basket. Soon I will have to buy more face wash and no shampoo at all. Gifts are supposed to come no strings attached, this is not fair of the universe to put a codicil to it.IP: Logged |

I checked my natal chart, it is a T square and an opposition that form my kite. It is the Octile kite as described. Does that explain why things come so hard to me?IP: Logged | |
