There is an interesting take on this on: http://www.achernar.btinternet.co.uk/venusaspects.html To quote: Venus Opposition Uranus Your conscious attempts to achieve objective understanding of the world and to relate to other people are strong, but your upbringing has resulted in your forming some pretty strange ideas about the world and other people, and these are difficult to change. You will therefore either identify with these ideas and expectations and find that they only hold true in off-beat situations, which you therefore actively seek out, or you will project them onto other people, and experience others as unreliable and strange. In either case, you are likely to lead an exciting life, but one that will be highly erratic and unstable, until you appreciate that for you there are two levels of thought, preconceived ideas and ideas that work in practice.

I know someone with venus in taurus and uranus in scorpio, although its not officially opposite by degrees...i notice he needs an unstable woman who keeps him guessing. hes never satified with just anyone, and for him to be in love, there has to be the element of never understanding her. theres got to be the ultimate challenge for them to stick with it. and it usually means they get hurt, thats why they end up hurting others, its either you or them, and they rather it be them although you would never expect that, its because its very difficult to HAVE THEM, they yearn for someone to have them, make them love them, adore them, they are looking for someone to hurt them.IP: Logged |

Hermes28, the question is: a boy with this aspect, what's he like in a relationship? If a girl wants stability, is she going to have it with him?Teaologist, his Venus is on MC and Uranus on IC...hm.. wonder how significant is this opposition.. Writesomething, great explanation! I can conclude then, that we don't understand each other and thaat's why we hurt each other :)and we keep trying to understand each other (it's so exciting!)so we keep hurting and hurting each other, but we don't mind that... as long as we're together. I've got the Venus-Uranus opposition, the tightest aspect in my chart only minutes apart!!!Everything BlueMoon & Teaologist referenced is absolutely true. It's always felt like a blessing & a curse. This entire year I've been vacillating between two loves, each considerably younger than myself and each so completely opposite the other!!! I wish I could roll them into ONE! Currently Saturn is activating my natal opposition so I'm hoping for some of that famous Saturnian stability. Still a little too early to tell...the saga continues. IP: Logged |
