I am quite interested in this topic right now and found a pretty good article. I also have a chart with a list of pre-natal solar and lunar eclipses so if you give me your birthdate I can look it up. I'm not quite sure whether I will be able to explain what they mean but at least I can give you the sign and degree of your lunar/solar prenatal eclipses. Meanwhile this is a lovely article. Though lengthy... The gift you got before you were born
© Jeanine Berry http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/astrology_spiritual_guide/75985/1 quote: Once you know where your prenatal solar eclipse lies in your chart, you will possess an important bit of information about yourself. For example, my prenatal solar eclipse is at Taurus 28. According to the theory of prenatal eclipses, before my birth, I was exposed to the energy of Taurus in a special way. Because of this, I will find my path to self-fulfillment by teaching the values of Taurus in some way through my life.... ...f a person does not work with this energy in a positive way, perhaps because the prenatal solar eclipse makes difficult aspects to their natal chart, then they will still teach these lessons to others, but they will teach by being an example of what not to do...
Funny thing is my pre-natal lunar eclipse is widely conjunct my moon by about 8 degrees. And my prenatal solar eclipse is conjunct my North Node to a point...kinda scary if i think about it lol. My bf's lunar eclipse is conjunct his Pluto to a point. And solar eclipse is also conjunct North Node but widely. Hmm quote: In addition to the prenatal solar eclipse, there is also a prenatal lunar eclipse. Where the solar eclipse shows the lessons we have come to teach, the lunar eclipse shows the lessons we have come to learn. You can find and interpret your lunar eclipse in much the same way as you did the solar eclipse, keeping in mind the distinction.

I'm surprised no one wants to know what were their prenatal solar and lunar eclipses. IP: Logged |

This is awesome info! Thanks for sending me mine on Facebook... I really need to find out more on the interpretation of this, but it seems very fitting that mine are in Sag and Gemini. IP: Logged |

Of course I would like to know:18th december 1974; 7:07 a.m.; Dusseldorf, Germany BTW I read a lot about the prenatal superior and inferior Sun-Venus-conjunction, and in some cases it figured strongly in some of my synstries. What experiences have you made with them? DD IP: Logged |

Wow, another coincidence between us! How interesting that our pre-natal eclipses are fire and air, and both related to our own natal ASC/DSC... IP: Logged |

Yup yup my Lunar eclipse isn't on my ASC but its relatively close, but it is conjunct my 1 degree Scorpio moon. And my Solar is almost exactly on my north node in the 6th house but 2 degrees away from my DC IP: Logged |

Bud,thank you for checking for me. The lunar ecclipse is rather near to my natal NN on 10° Sagittarius. Interesting. The solar ecclipse is widely conjunct to my Sun-Mercury conjunction on 25°-26° Sagittarius. Do I only look at those placements, or can I make a whole "Ecclipse-chart"? Regarding the Venus-Sun-prenatal conjunction. I read about that in Blashke`s book. He sais there are one or two important prenatal Venus-conjunction. The Superior conjunction: The conjunction of Sun and Venus, when Veus was in direct mode The inferior conjunction (the more important one as he claims): The Sun - Venus-conjunction pre your birth, with Venus being retrograde.
He sais that often people who play important parts in your life have conjunctions or oppositions to this prenatal Sun-Venus-conjunction. And if two people have their Sun-Venus-conjunctions, especially the inferior, conjunct each other, then it`s a very certain sign that those two have karmic business with each other (well, this can only happen if there is an age difference of 4 or 8 years I guess, but it doesn`T ALWAYS happen with this age difference). In the case of those two music-men that seem to always almost cross my path, and who I feel strongly drawn to despite better reason, I actually share this configuration. My superior Su-Ve-conj: 13°45 Scorpio My inferior Su-Ve-conj: 03°30 Aquarius Guy P superior Su-Venu-conj: 07° Aquarius Guy P inferior Su-Ve-conj: 20°53 Aries Guy A superior Su-Ve-conj: 16°10 Scorpio Guy A inferior Su-Ve-conj: 05°57 Aquarius Thought this was interesting. Yeah. Since eclipses take place at the nodes of the moon, NN & SN in your chart will sorta tell where your prenatals fell. IP: Logged |

Dark Dreamer- You're very welcome. All that sounds absolutely amazing. But to find out the pre natal Venus- Sun conjunction should i do just transits for the year before and see when they are close. But then there would be a few of them? Sounds fascinating though. As for the eclipses from what I read the houses they are in matter as the Solar tells you what you have come to teach other ppl in this life and the lunar is what you have come to learn. Autumn Wind - Solar: on aug 31,1970 in virgo 8'04 Lunar: sept 15,1970 pisces 22'12 OzMeg222: solar: oct 12,1977 in libra 19'24 lunar: sept 27, 1977 in aries 4'07

I think that's a great idea to check for pre natal eclipses. I even think one should check for post natal eclipses too, as eclipses have a powerful magnetism after and before they take place. Thanks for the link. Off to check my pre-natal eclipse and to find out more about myself.

I went to this site to find out the dates of solar eclipses: http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/SEgoogle/SEgoogle1951/SE1955Dec14Agoogle.html and my birthday is situated almost exactly 3 months after and 3 months before solar eclipses. So, I would think in my case, I am affected by both. IP: Logged |

Braveheart - you are very welcome. I find it fascinating that a lot of ppl have aspects between the eclipses and the nodes. My Solar Eclipse is conj my North Node to a degree. Belage - thats pretty awesome. I would love to learn more about eclipses. They are fascinating IP: Logged |

BUD, I think eclipses are fascinating, and I would love to know more about them too. They tend to be ominous (according to most folklores), and very few astrologers study them in depth. We also need to look into the lunar eclipses as they signify the culmination of the solar eclipses, just as the full moon signifies the culmination of the new moon. They will also shed lights on the powerful energies present around the time of birth. IP: Logged |
