I was reading about the strength of the different planets and signs in my chart on Astro.com (Pullen's astrolog), and it listed Aquarius as the 2nd most powerful after Aries (my sun sign). Since I do not have any planets in Aquarius, I was wondering how this is possible. I have, I think, 10 midpoints that fall in Aquarius, though, and a T-square whose empty leg would fall in 7th house Aquarius. Is this the reason for the strength of the sign?Any input would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your reply! I do have sun, venus, mercury, and chiron in the 11th, and uranus squares jupiter and is opposite mercury (T-square), trines mars, and widely conjuncts moon. So, I guess that explains it. So much to learn... Thanks again! IP: Logged |

one more thing. If its including midpoints then Aquarius could be a midpoint for alot of your natal planets.IP: Logged |

LeoCat, Hello In answer to your question: You will log into an account at http://www.astro.com Then choose the option of "Free Horoscopes" Then choose The option of "Extended Chart Selection" Then Listed as chart options is what is called "Pullen / Astrolog" in the picture below it's RED. After clicking this link a pull down menu will appear with more choices after making your choice (may I suggest: Simple chart delineation by Walter Pullen)just click on the blue button entitled "click here to show the chart" The new page it will bring you to has lot's of information that may be of interest? Specifically Towards the very bottom (scroll down, down... until you see a small calendar representation of your own birth month) shortly there after you'll discover small interpretations with the word power: beside each of these. You will see #'s These numbers actually represent the strength these areas play out in your own chart. Here as you've chosen this chart particularly they are already listed for you in order of strength 1 through 13 or more depending on any asteroids, minor planets you may have added.
The other abbreviations you'll notice "sep" and "app" represent whether an aspect is separating or apply in your chart. Hope this helps... ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

Yup, yup...that's the way it works. The program they use on Astrodienst looks at both your sign and house placements and how elevated certain planets are. And it also figures in how many aspects each makes to come up with some kind of numerical score for everything. I was surprised as to how TAURUS it said I was when I've got such a Cap/Scorp/Aqua influence- then I realized that one of my Saggy planets falls right on the 2nd house cusp, all my Cappy planets are in the second house, and so is my Aqua Venus (which is accidentally dignified being there). Then it all made sense. And YAY for Aqua/Uranus/11th house people!!!! We know we rock!!! IP: Logged | |
