Topic: Mercury: Stalker or Guardian Angel? Interesting observation.

I was born into this family:Grandpa - Gemini
Grandma - Gemini
Mom - Gemini Rising
Uncle - Virgo
Uncle #2 - Gemini Me - Gemini w/ Virgo Rising. Mercury in Cancer. Both parents have Mercury Retro. I don't. I love Virgo's style, and find Geminis exquisitely beautiful. Though I can't get along with either for extended periods of time (read: over two weeks). I attract a lot of people with mercury retrograde in their chart. Tons of Cancer risings, tons, and first house moons, & Cancer mars. Cancer types. If they think I'm hot, Cancer's in the chart. Most often I meet these people during Mercury Retrograde. Or people I already know "come out" when mercury goes retro. Does this make Mercury my personal planet? Am I being stalked? Or, have I broken new ground and exposed Mercury as the real relationship planet? Does anyone else have similar affiliations with a planet? IP: Logged |

What an exellent post Hermes.

I have/had a really good friend with your placements...Sun-Gemini Rising-Virgo and Cancer mercury. Really loved the girl, and we got along beautifully, but ever since I quit where my job where we worked together, I havent spoken to her much and it hurts a lot. We use to talk and do stuff all the time. Ive tried hanging out recently but she never responded back, was wondering what you thought. Interesting. That is a strong Mercury so it makes complete sense. An unaspected Mercury in Cancer at 0 degrees as chart ruler and disposer of your Sun conjunct the Midheaven? As well as your Saturn and North Node in Virgo in the 12th house, also Mercury ruled. Very powerful; I'd say Mercury is your Guardian Angel. Our chart rulers do "look over" our lives in a sense so thats what yours is doing.IP: Logged |

WriteSomething:Maybe it was a progression thing, where either of your progressed planets passed over the other's natal or progressed planet. Personally, I like keeping in touch with former co-workers, classmates, and such. Nothing heavy though. The third house, Gemini's house, is the house of the neighborhood, and surrounding vicinity. If you live close by, or they see you often great. If you move far away, the effort it takes to reach out might be too much...perfect for the opposite sign, sagittarius, the sign of long distances & the wider world. IP: Logged |
