Anyone got any thoughts on Cazimi conjunctions, in this case 11 minutes between the Sun and Mercury? Some sources suggest this is a powerful aspect where the planet gets solar energy, others say it is combust and burnt-up. It's likely a friend of mine has this, although not having a birth-time I can't say for sure (guesstimate chart). Rapier wit isn't a quality I've been struck by in this case. But clever conversation can only get you so far. Much better to be able to fix things and look pretty whilst you are at it. IP: Logged |

While it's something I know next to nothing about, blue moon, off the top of my head, I would think that a person whose sun is so closely linked with Mercury would be really, really um, er, "mental." As in cerebral, not (necessarily) crazy. Depending on sign, house placement and other aspects, of course. ------------------ "You stay young as long as you can learn, acquire new habits and suffer contradiction." I have Mercury cazimi...within less than 3 minutes, and I'd like to think I'm not crazy . lol. Anyway, I am very wrapped up in intellectual things though. When I was a kid, I liked to write stories, read, and learn math instead of playing video games or something like that. And even now, I really like to debate and play trivia games and the like. I can get really philosophical at times and like to question everything. Of course, I also have Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune conjunct Mercury with Uranus being the closest aspect. And yeah, I have been accused of thinking "too much" by some of my friends. If that's even possible....haha. I don't know, does this help any?IP: Logged |

Hi CappyScorp23,I am DYING to see your chart. You have a GRAND STELLIUM in Capricorn that includes Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune??? I've been trying to figure out the time period myself setting up December and January charts between 1989 to 1995 and I'm not getting all the planets close enough to get what you describe, so I figured I would just ask you, if you feel comfortable. If you don't want to post it here, would you email it to me privately? I will understand if your answer is no, but this is something I would love to see. I need to see it because I'm wondering if you can really be used as an example of the Cazimi Sun-Mercury conjunction because it's all being synthesized by the Uranus being closer than the Sun and also being mixed up with Neptune and Saturn in there. No wonder you're so cerebral. You're probably a hard working incredibly inspired genius, too, in my imagination anyway. Would you please consider sharing your chart? I thank you for your consideration in advance. Geocosmic Valentine Professional Astrologer geocosmicvalentine@yahoo.com : www.myspace.com/geocosmicvalentine ------------------ "Everybody is a star!" Hey all!Sure, I'll post my birth data if anyone wants to take a look. Geocosmic Valentine, I'd like to thank you for your kind words. However, I'd hardly call myself a genius. Although, I'd like to think that I'm a philosophical idealist of sorts. I'm rather logical, but also very creative and intuitive at times. Though I tend to sometimes ignore my intuition when I should listen to it....(I'm an Aquarius Moon) If you have any other questions, just ask and I'll be happy to answer. Here's my birth data: December 23, 1987 4:39 AM Holyoke, Massachusetts USA IP: Logged |

Hi Cappyscorp23,I think you meant to say Uranus is the NEXT CLOSEST aspect to Mercury after the Sun being the closest. Your life must really be "Happening" with transiting Pluto plowing through that stellium. Well, thank you for posting your information, it's very helpful. Have a great weekend. Yes, I meant that Uranus forms the closest aspect to the Mercury cazimi configuration. And I have Uranus oriental. Is that correct? I suppose I should have been more clear about that- sorry for the confusion. Are you doing some kind of research/astrological study, Geocosmic Valentine? The topic sounds interesting.IP: Logged |

Yes, you do have Uranus oriental. As for a special program of research or anything, no. I was just curious to see the chart of a person who would have all those planets so tightly conjunct, but as it turns out, they are not as tight as I thought. Don't worry, it doesn't take away from your sparkling personality at all. You are still just as genius to me! Also, it brings me back to the original topic of the Cazimi Mercury. I just wanted to see the exact measurements to make sure that you were really describing your Cazimi Mercury and not the other planets that I thought were conjunct your Mercury as well. The way I learned about Mercury in Capricorn, the symbolism suggests that you NEED to hear the grass grow, and you have definitely described yourself that way in my opinion. Tell us, what does it sound like...? Geocosmic Valentine ------------------ "Everybody is a star!" Sly & The Family Stone IP: Logged | |
