Hi all,I just have been thinking about progressed composite.
I wondered, if there were connections between the parent`s progressed composite at the moment of their children`s birth, and I tried that out with my own parents and their three children.
And these are my results:
I am the oldest child, and when I have been born,
The Transiting Sun and Mercury (which of course are my natal Sun and Mercury) were exactly conjunct my parent`s progressed composite Chiron in the 5th house.
Mars and ASC were conjunct their progressed composite Venus in the 4th house and Mars was opposite the progressed composite Moon (and my DSC was widely conjunct progressed composite Moon).
MC was conjunct their progressed composite Mars.
In case of my first brother:
pr Chiron was exactly conjunct the progressed 5th house-cusp - a wound, a great responsibility through a child(Chiron on 5th house cusp?) - well it makes sense, since my brother is mentally handicapped.
HIs Venus exactly conjunct the progressed composite Jupiter (by 0°03!) - he will always need extra-care for them, and this might be reflected by the conjunction to benevolent Jupiter.
His MErcury exactly opposite their progressed composite URanus - his (inhibited) intellect was shaking up (Uranus) their whole relationship. You could say that, his birth forced them to reconsider some of their life-plans.
HIs Moon falls into their 4th progressed composite house, near to the IC - another sign that this child will always need to be cared for especially much.
His Chiron opposite their progressed composite Moon.
HIs DSC conjunct their pr composite Pluto - through him there were overwhelming transformations and deep changes happening in their relationship. Actually I think at first it might have felt to them, especially to my mother, that through the arrival of my bro they were given over helplessly to the hands of fate, with no power over their own fate anymore. Well, some families break apart, if something like that happens; my family instead became extremely close, I think it must have to do with the fact that my parents just accepted things as they were, that my bro would never be able to live as independent as they would have wished for him.
Actually it was my father who held it all together in the beginning. My mum often tells, how much despair she felt over the handicap of my brother, not because she didn`t love him, but more because she was afraid of the repressions of society he would have to go through. Also she was worried about the familie`s reactions, and probably even about my father`s reaction, and she kinda felt "guilty", which is pure nunsense, but emotions don`t ask for rational explanations.
However, my father said at one point that she should get herself together and just accept things as they are, or he would take the children, both children, and go away with us, so we could have a happy life.
I guess that helped my mum a lot, because it showed her that she could always rely on my dad, and that he was loving their children just as much as she was.
But I guess, that turmoil is expressed in my brother`s DSC conjunct their Pluto (interestingly my Moon is also opposite their pr-composite Pluto, whereas my youngest brother doesn`t oppose or conjunct their Pluto - but he wasn`t born at that time yet).
The shadow side of this all - I often felt, sometimes still feel, controlled and overpowered, especially by my mother (who is also a SCorpio, no surprise here), but also by my father. I know they would do EVERYTHING for me, and that can be very difficult at times, too; they are used to care for us children in a very demonstrative way (because my brother needs it), but it makes it hard to go my own way. you know never wanting to disappoint my parents.
My youngest brother:
HIs Moon/ Uranus / Jupiter-conjunction conjuncts their pr composite Venus.
his NN conjuncts their 11th housecusp - I`d say he is the most independent one of us children; or at least he always tries to prove that he can break free at any time, even risking to hurt my mother at times.
HIs Chiron conjunct their pr-composite MC.
HIs MC conjunct their pr-composite Chiron.
- he tries to lead his own life; always has done so. Often he comes across as unreliable, irresponsible, not being at home too much, arguing and discussing a lot, especially with my Mother. But behind that facade he is closely linked to us all, though. And if it`s important, you could rely on him for life.
His Sun widely opposing their progressed composite Moon.
HIs Moon opposite their pr composite Mars.
Did you notice strong connections between your birth-planets and your parent`s progressed composite, too?
