What placements/aspects might show whether or not you will have them? Or if you even like them?I don't think I'll have children unless I meet the "one", and even then I'm still not so sure about it. EDIT: I really don't have very much patience for them either and get irritated around them. ------------------

Interesting. I am curious about this too. I don't particularly like children even though I've had several jobs working with them, and am good with them. I don't plan on having any. Odd for a Cancer Moon, from my understanding...

With all the Cancer placements in me I've been told I should have quite a few children(also that I am very fertile)...but I don't even have one yet so who knows. Look towards the 5th house in your natal chart to see what planets you have there(5th house rules children)...watch for planets Moon or Saturn.------------------

librachikety ur born on the 27th september 1981 same day as my ex i noticed ur placements straight away lucky my ex has moon conjunct ascendant or i wouldnt like him then if he didnt like kids. Not that i plan to have them just its a turn off when theyre too cold. I think thats ur virgo moon. Then again its a matter of preference also. ------------------

Well I'm still pondering on this question. Are there reliable astrological indicators for family size and fertility levels? It doesn't sit well with the modern realities of contraception and statistics: right now in the U.K, a woman of childbearing age has a less than 10% chance of having four or more children, and a 20% chance of having none at all. Surely of those 1 in 5 women the majority opted for this as an active choice? I can't see things changing radically in the next few years as we all suddenly decide to have 7 kids apiece. As for how fertile you are, what your chart speaks at 20 is different to what is says at 40. But then I suppose that goes for the psychological aspects as well. No answers, only more questions, sorry!

Well, Taurus embodies my entire 5th house, while Chiron sits in it.You would think with Taurus in the 5th, that would be a strong indicator of wanting children. There must be somewhere (or something) else to look... IP: Logged |

I love kids. Kids always love me back, which is nice I'll have at least one of my own and adopt as well. Not for a long while though. I'm thinking - early 30s 5th house - Libra

I have Aries on my 5th house cusp. No planets in the 5th. Mars is in Virgo 10th house and conjunct Saturn. Mars sextiles Mercury, Uranus and my AC.and squares Neptune. My moon is in Aries 4th house and makes a Square to my sun in cancer 8th house. I tried for 4yrs to have a child. I can get pregnant thats not the issue. I have went to several doctors and they just didn't take me seriously. I tried alternative remedies and even though they improved some things they didn't correct the problem. I have given up for now. I don't have insurance and it would be irresponsible of me to keep going at the moment. I have always wanted kids and even with my temper I have patients of a saint when it comes to children. I just don't like the smiley much. Funny thing, SilverFairy. I have Aries on the 5th (Placidus) and an afflicted Mars. No planets on the 5th. Mars is exactly conjunct my husband's Saturn, which is in his 5th house. I got pregnant easy, but had several miscarriages. Then I got pregnant with twins (naturally, never had fertility drugs) - one miscarried, one is my elder son. I have no proof but I am sure he was conceived on his father's birthday when I said, "let's have one for fun". The doctors had no answers. Aside from the very expensive one who did nothing except say "don't worry, the next one will be alright". He was worth every penny on my maxed out credit card. I wish you the same result (that's the hyperactive kid that tests your patience, not the credit card bill!)

I know this isn't really a thread about getting pregnant, but I thought I'd mention that Astro.com has an astrological fertility grid. I can't vouch for it...I haven't tried it! I just thought I'd throw that out there. ------------------

My 5th house is ruled by Leo, though I have no planets here I feel it's presence strongly in regard to children factors...
I have three natural children and previously lost a set of twins. Prior to my own children as well as along with my own, I have a knack for taking in other peoples children. I've always been great with kids, love kids and always knew I'd have a couple. Never imagined more than two but hey, the more the merrier right? Most of my planets are in houses 6,7,& 8 Sag Sun with Libra Moon Hmm? People can tell you that I was born to be a mother. I'm passionate about it and take pride in it as well as experience great joy from it.
I Could'nt really narrow this to a single aspect or position though. I suppose enjoying sex will have a strong effect on it's frequency and the after effects of such...
Note: My sun is in the 8th house... ------------------
