Astrotheme's synastry generator system has an interesting option whereby it allows you to isolate the aspects that each chart makes to the Other. So, you can just see the aspects Person A makes to Person B and vice versa.

My question is this:

Does the number of aspects mean anything? If Person A makes more aspects to Person B's chart than the other way around, does it mean that Person A affects Person B more? Vice versa?

Thanks!!!!

Not sure how you mean ~ maybe I am being a bit dim but if the aspects are going from one chart to another there isn't going to be a difference in number, they are all mutual?

Hey bluemoon!

I think interaspects is a combination of the separate aspects each chart makes.

But what I'm curious about is this:

My own planets will make a certain number of aspects to my boyfriend's planets. And his, in turn, will make a certain number to mine. But when you separate the chart in this manner, there is bound to be inequality in the number of aspects.

My question then becomes: Is this significant? If my planets make more aspects to my BF's chart than his to mine, what effect does that have? Does it affect attraction? Value of relationship to him/me? And so forth....

But how are you seperating it?

Personal planets? Angles?

Your planets are connecting to something on his chart.

Astrotheme.com has a Synastry Chart option that allows you to draw up both the Interaspects as well as the aspects of each chart (separately).

I think what blue moon is saying is that if:

Person A's Sun conjuncts Person B's Moon

Doesn't that also mean that

Person B's Moon conjuncts Person A's Sun

so even though you might get to separate them to see how many Moon connections he has or Mars connections etc, the total aspects will be the exact same. But if say...

Person A's Venus is trine Person B's Venus

It will list it in the Venus section of one or both person's lists.

But it sounds nice that that program will list out how many connections each person has to each of their planets. Unless I am misunderstanding what you mean. I guess I don't fully know the definition of "interaspects".

Sarai, maybe I understand what you mean, maybe not, but I have a similar question it seems..

My question is this. If his Venus makes a lot of aspects to my planets but mine makes none, or if my Pluto makes a lot of aspects to his planets, but his makes none, what does it mean??

O.K, I think I get it now. When I get quiet time (in a million years) I will check out the site. I've seen it before but only browsed. My French ain't that hot, but I can get by.

My gut instinct is that it will show where one person's energy is a stronger influence than the other. That might mean they bring more challenges, or conversely they could bring more refined skills into the relationship. Or maybe a mixture of both.

For example:

His Saturn - conjunct her Mars, Trine her Sun, Square her Venus, Trine her Uranus, Square her Ascendant

Her Saturn - trine his Mercury

Doomed!

There are more levels of interaction where he acts as a Saturnine influence than vice versa. Going through the charts as a whole would build a picture of who acts more powerfully in what aspect of the relationship.

On this example, Saturn is my husband. He is older than me, very hard-working, and a good influence on the dissipated Gemini Sun languishingly lazily in a Grand Trine. But it tends to me who says, "will that work, is that realistic?".

O.K, so Venus Square Saturn sounds like a drag. But that's marriage for ya, and let's face it, someone gets to wash the underpants.

It's just part of a bigger picture.

Ah, I'm so sorry for the confusion, bluemoon. (I'm new at the synastry stuff and am therefore bad at explaining it)

Yes, Mystic and Vintry sort of nailed it.

Thank you all for your input!!!
