I guess, it still remains the same, since the "new life" is actually a part of the "old life".IP: Logged |

I'd make a new chart for the time he came back and then do a synastry and composite with the old natal. IP: Logged |

I don't know if this is relevant, but my father was an Aquarius (2/11) and he died while the Sun was in Pisces (3/12). Also, my friend's mother, who was a Capricorn (12/29) died while the Sun was in Aquarius (some time at the end of January).IP: Logged |

Khaine, Wow! Now that's some thinking outside the box. I love it! This makes an amazing amount of sense as your spirit detaches from your body at death. Upon returning it is forced to cope with the "first breath" experience again.Let us not overlook the ideas of soul transference or walk-ins here either Curious? Have you, yourself had an experience of sorts? ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |

I'm gonna say that the old chart probably still rules...but I bet it would be cool to see if the near-death shows up somehow. Probably pluto and/or 8th house stuff natally or by transit. (That was probably a "DUH" statement, but oh well! lol)------------------ Sun - Capricorn (10th House) Moon - Gemini (2nd House) Mercury - Sagittarius (9th House) Venus - Aquarius (11th House) Mars - Aries (12th House) ASC - Aries IP: Logged |

During near death experiences the consciousness is only temporarily detached (obviously, or the experience would be DEATH) .. it is still your consciousness, being flooded with your brain's chemicals trying to distract it from what's happening. You're catching a glimpse of the collective subconscious but you aren't ending your physical life yet. After you've regained your senses you would be back in the same body, the same consciousness in the costume it was assigned. You would be the same person. My dad had a near death experience when he was 20, he had a horrible motorcycle accident and literally "saw the light" ..a powerful experience for him that changed his appreciation/perspective on life but he is still the same grouchy Aries :P ------------------ Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon No man is free who is not master of himself. I think it brings up the question of whether the person really died and what is considered to be a real signal of death. Is he dead because his heart stopped, is that still a valid signal for death, or did certain brain activity stop.I read an article about whwat happens when the body is deprived of oxygen for certain periods of time, something interesting happens to the brain cells. Some kind of membrain is created to create the cells...or something...and that the brain can regenerate itself...or was it the heart? I can't remember, but there is some new science around oxygen deprivation to the body. What was considered to be signs of death 100 years ago isn't the same signal today. It's kind of like thinking that electricity is magic until you learn what it is. Anyway, I've gone on long enough, but 30 years from now they might know and understand something about the body shutting down certain parts of itself in order to regenerate another part of itself and we won't consider it to be death. Just some things to think about, at least I'm thinking about them. IP: Logged |

That is one of the most interesting questions ive ever seen - and probably it has a very complex answer isnt it? I also sort of "died" shortly after i was born- i made several health problems being a premature baby and my heart stopped - now im very curious to know if in some way a persons´s "mission" for this lifetime changed or not and what consequences does efectivaly a near death experience makes to a person - one thing is for sure:no one will ever be the same person again!
