I'm sorry, I meant to say I read somewhere that the solar elipse is going to effect capricorns in the 2nd house of income, but how come astro.com says that the solar eclipse for me will be in my 5th house, and I am a capricorn. sorry for the mixed up 1st post, your info. would be great.IP: Logged |

They've said 2nd house for Capricorns because the Eclipse is going to fall at 17 degrees of Aquarius. If you draw a chart on the equal house system (i.e 12 houses each with 30 degrees), starting at 0 degrees of Capricorn, then that will fall in the 2nd house. The 5th house may have been for a personal chart. Have you got Libra rising? That would explain it. IP: Logged |

Yes, I do have Libra rising, and Aquarius is in my 5th house. Please explain. How do you determine which house the eclipse will be in, because I looked up 2 twins charts on astro.com, one of them says the solar eclipse will be in the 4th the other in the 3rd. This is soo confusing.IP: Logged |

It works the same way. Aquarius is 120 degrees away from Libra - which is 5 segments out of 12 of a 360 degree circle. So, depending on degree of your Ascendant, it makes sense it is 5 houses away from the horizon. It's possible that even with a short birth spacing the eclipse falls in different houses on each twin's chart. Then, to complicate things further, it could fall differently depending on which house system you are using..... IP: Logged |

So basically just go by what astro.com says about the houses, or go by Capricorn in the 2nd house. Or it should affect both houses?IP: Logged |

I'd go by the Astro.com version. The other is more general. IP: Logged |
