Question: How do each sign try to lose weight once they become overweight?

Aries:
These folks can lose weight very fast as they have so much of energies. And if its a competition, they would be quite excited about it. :-)

Taurus:
Ahh, these peaceful security oriented folks can't lose weight easily. Generally, when they try to lose weight, they get even more attached to food, and could gain instead of losing those pounds. Don't you just love all kinds of food :-)

Gemini:
These folks are very active. They get up early in the morning before their partner wakes up and by the time their partner finishes making morning coffee, they say, "Oh honey, I have already had my breakfast, I ran 5 miles today. Right now, I am checking out how Oil prices are going up in Wall Street journal. Oh, I also need to check on morning news channel. Are we going out today? It's been two days we haven't traveled to a new place. It's okay if you don't want to come. I am feeling like going out." And, they are off to their multiple projects. Basically, these guys generally don't gain pounds, but if they do, they can lose pretty fast. Look at them, they are so active and lively.

Cancer:
Oh my my, these loving people will gain weight and will NOT lose no matter how much they try. They are the best Chefs and Food is one of their major part of life. If forced by their mother, they would buy a treadmill. But soon, they will look at the treadmill and realize how useful it has been to put clothes on it and put stuff that they can't forget. It's so easy to find when they put important stuff on Treadmill. They will get attached to their treadmill. They will not let it go even after years of not exercising on it. These lovely people don't need to lose weight. They are better of keeping those pounds so that they can stay more at home :-) Ask them about restaurants in town, and they will tell you best places.

Leo:
These folks can gain weight during the Lazy period of rest. And, they are just so bright and fresh, that they might not be able to lose weight through exercise. But once they are off to becoming the Presidents of Country, Company, Organization, they will start losing weight because they can overwork more than anybody. In general, they can't lose weight easily. And, somehow they are more sexy with those pounds ;-)

Virgo:
"Oh, you are thinking I am overweight? Oh no, I am overweight! Let me look at my Scorecard. (Work A- Health B+ Home B- HelpCommunity B Hobby C+) Ooops.. Health is B+ and it is out of order. Oh no, I need to plan. Oh no, I am freaked out. Oh no, how did I become overweight? I need to put my health in Order. And, let me plan on Paper. Thirty days - lose .25 pounds per day and I shall lose 7.5 pounds by the month end. Looks good. I need to check my diet now.. etc etc" Basically these lovely people will lose pounds.. exactly at target.. if they lose more than plan, they will freak out too :-) These people CAN lose weight once they have the plan ready

Libra:
"Holy cow, I am overweight. I don't look as attractive anymore. I can't attract as many guys/gals as I used to. Oh no, I need to lose weight. I need to control diet. I need to exercise. Etc. Etc. Hmm.. Do I really need to lose weight? I do, I don't. I do. I don't." Basically, these charmers don't lose weight because losing weight is a decision that they can't make. Continue to keep the pounds but will not gain. Once the worries start, they will try everything to keep pounds at where they are but losing might be tough.

Scorpio:
"Being overweight is not making me as Sexy and Magnetic as I used to be. Need to lose weight fast so that I can regain Control. My Sex Life has to be the Best." These Sexy people can lose weight just about 3-5 pounds a day once they use their strong WILL Power. Most amazing thing is to watch them once they lose 15 pounds in two weeks and then they will celebrate it by eating five pounds worth of food. It's a celebration of WILL Power worked again :-) Overall, they lose weight but there is always a Reason and WILL behind doing it.

Sagittarius:
"I take 10 pills a day to control cholesterol etc. I need to lose weight. But I love food so much. Let me eat it last time and I will control from tomorrow" These lovely folks love to put on pounds and their hips grow bigger as they eat. It seems most of fat gets generated in that area first. So, if you want to please them, that's the Ergo zone ;-) They will NOT lose pounds even though they overwork. They will eat twice as well when they overwork. They need energies all the time.

Capricorn:
"I am overweight. But my office, work, career, ambition, family, parents are more important at this time. In my priority list, losing weight will come last. If I achieve my goal and make enough money as I expected within next 10 years, then yes, I will exercise during later stage of life." These people will not spend a single minute until they reach their mountain. And, let me guarantee, they will reach there. Steady progress. Once they are done reaching the target, yes they will relax and take some time to make losing weight as their goal and then lose some. They will realize though that its a waste of time :-)

Aquarius:
"I am overweight. I need to research on how to lose weight. But all these infomercial and Food is so wrong. The whole world is crazy in terms of losing weight with this method. I better invent my own method. Let me think and analyze. Hmm, first, you can't lose weight by starvation because its wrong. Hmm, second, their needs to be change in diet. etc etc.." Basically, these friendly people will make their own method and they will get there in losing pound and once they lose as expected.. the method will be published as a new inventive method - either its a new way of work out or new diet or combination of both.. but it will be innovative :-)

Pisces:
"Wow, I am overweight! I was treated so badly by my Boyfriend today. I have been Emotionally wounded. Why do these Earthy people think that being overweight is not Sexy? It was so nice when I used to live in Neptune. Jesus was always there with me. And, I was never emotionally HURT by these types of comments. Anyway, my BF told me to do so. So I will lose weight. It would be so wonderful once I lose weight :-) I can imagine he will love me more. he will treat me with respect. I really love my BF. He is so nice that he told me I should lose some weight. I would love to lose weight and be sexy. We will have awesome erotic sex. Wow, it seems so wonderful. I wish though that he could understand me emotionally though. Anyway, I am off to this new adventure" These compassionate people will be disappointed when they hear they are overweight and emotionally get wounded. But, believe them, once the fish is off to what you told them to do. They will lose weight and come back with that Sexy Magnetic energies.

Any feedback, comment, experience will be appreciated.

I never try to loose weight. Don't need to.

I eat like hell and now that I'm pregnant there's no stopping me.

The Virgo one is true for me. I am very systematic about losing weight or maintaining it. And I do freak out if I lose more than planned because I figure that it's because I am unhealthy, suffering from stress or something.

I'm not skinny, and I don't think I should be. I'm 55kg at 1.7m. I think that's around 120 pounds or something at 5'7. But, even though I am not thin, I feel healthy.

I was on an eliptical at the gym next to my Cancer girlfriend. I was halfway through 50 minute all terrain program when she stopped, said she was bored, and was going to lift weights. I said I'm not done yet. She laughed and reminded me I wasn't tied to the machine, I could get off if I wanted to. Well, heck no, it's not in my nature! I had to finish until the end, or it would *feel* unfinished. She accused me of Capricorn discipline, when I always feel like I'm by nature quite lazy. (Taurus Mars lol) But darn it all, I had to finish the program.

Of course, I don't really look like most of the Virgo women I've known anyway. Most of them are shorter than me and waif-like (though they aren't TOO thin; they are usually just right for their body type). They don't really have weight issues, whereas I look more like the "earth-mother" type of Virgo (with Scorpio curves of course) and so I just naturally put on weight very easily.

1. Cancers CAN be smokin' hot (Meaning, Not all of them are as Hot as Libra but you can find smokin Hot Cancers frequently. I agree.)
2. my friend's Libra stepmother who, err, is not that attractive..at all. (Of course, there will be Libras that are not HOT as well. But, is she doing too much make up? Is that why she is not attractive?)

Overall, your logic seem superficial but good enough for Cancers to feel better and Libras to feel Not So Good. You are a smart cookie :-)

I really think when a Taurus or Scorpio puts their mind to something (like losing weight), they can do anything.

I was cursed with being a Sag rising So, not only am I a Lazy Libra (at times), you all know where the weight stays

I go through spurts, where controlling my diet is effortless. Other times, it's downright challenging. It's always one or the other.

HOW? Eating healthy foods - like yogurt, salads, veggies, chicken, grains, etc. Avoid carbs: pasta, bread. That's how I lose weight. And not over-eating.

Hmmm... True. But I never said I AM a Scorpio. True Scorps wouldn't give away their secrets, but I'm a Virgo with A LOT of fire, so I don't mind divulging secrets (provided they aren't major secrets). I DO lose weight like a Scorpio though. I go cold turkey when I finally do decide that's what I'm going to do. I don't do the whole agenda, let's make up a plan thing, like most Virgos. (On certain things, yes; on this, no). Maybe that's more of my Aries moon though... Meh.

However... If Scorpios lose weight to regain control, does that mean they have an overabundance of people with eating disorders? People who have eating disorders are usually trying to regain some kind of control over themselves. I'm just posing the question. Honestly, I haven't known any Scorpios with eating disorders (though I'm sure there are some out there).
