Would a Moon in Aries in the eighth house show someone whose possibly very good at sports? Also, what Mars aspects are the best?

No, not necessarily. The 8th house has nothing to do with athleticism, nor does the Moon. For athletic ability I'd look more to: the condition of Mars by sign, house, and aspect the Ascending ruler by house, sign, and aspect Planets in the 1st (1st house is the physical body) the 5th house for traditional sports and spectatorial events Possibly the 6th house, since the 6th rules health, and poor/good health ties directly into athleticism Condition of the Sun by sign, house, and aspect, as the Sun rules vitality **Possibly look for these planets' aspects to Jupiter (for talent, luck), Saturn (for endurance), Pluto (for willpower)

I'd look at narrow orbed aspects(conjunction,opposition,trine,sextile,quincunx,semisextile,semisquare,sesquiquadrate) and declinations(parallel,contraparallel) and golden aspects(85'00 132'30,68.8...137.5°, 68.8°, 47.5° and 34.4° 21.25°, 42.49°, 47.51°, 68.75°, 111.25°, 132.49°, 137.51° and 158.75)involving Mars and Pluto.only 1 degree orb with golden aspects. also many sports require great coordination,quickness,and speed like football(especially quarterback,receivers,running backs,defensive backs,linebackers),track/field,tennis,soccer,volleyball,swimming,gymnastics,racecar driving,boxing,martial arts,wrestling,fencing so I'd look at Mercury and Uranus too aspects to the nodes of Mars,Pluto,Uranus,and Mercury might be helpful http://www.considerations-mag.com/articles/geocentricPlanetary.htm http://bourabai.narod.ru/landscheidt/consider.htm also I am into Cosmobiology,and so I'd checked out the midpoints involving Pluto,Mars,Mercury,and Uranus
I feel that there should be numerous factors for these things

I love sports. Phys ed. was always the highlight of my day in school. Basketball is my fav. sport and I play every sunday with a group of guys. I played basketball and track in highschool. I wasnt spectacular at either one of them. I often cracked under the pressure maybe it was the whole thing of all the people watching. heh. but when I play pickup games I tend to shine. since highschool my game has improved alot. I think I was just a late bloomer. I have Sun Trine Mars and Mars sextile Jupiter. Mars Aries. Mars makes squares to saturn uranus and neptune though I dont think they help with athleticism. there are successful athletes with hard aspects from Mars to Saturn,Uranus,Neptune hard aspects aren't necessarily bad
hard aspects are viewed by some astrologers as event-oriented aspects IP: Logged |

Hard aspects can actually help. With hard aspects comes strong energy. The energy is so strong that often it's influence is very noticeable and present to us. The softer aspects are generally where things run more smoothly, so you're less inclined to be aware of them than the hard aspects. ------------------ Sagittarius AC, Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Leo

Alanbelle thats a good point. I am gratful for Mars square Uranus. alot of energy can come out of that at unexpected times. do you think it is better for some planets to be in hard aspect rather then a good one? IP: Logged |
